    Artykuł omawia przebieg prac legislacyjnych i programowych dotyczących spółdzielni socjalnych z ostatnich dziesięciu lat. Stanowią one nową formę prawną łączącą cechy spółdzielni pracy i organizacji pozarządowej. Zaprezentowane zostały analizy porównawcze wskazujące różnice pomiędzy tradycyjnymi spółdzielniami pracy a spółdzielniami socjal-nymi, jak również analiza poszczególnych faz zmian prawnych. Artykuł stanowi z jednej strony materiałanalityczny odnoszący się do dyskusji nad koncepcjami spółdzielczości socjalnej, z drugiej zaś stanowi opis procesu legislacyjnego odnoszącego się do polityki społecznej wskazującego wpływ sporów programowych na ostateczny kształt aktów praw-nych. W artykule zaprezentowano równieżkierunki dalszych prac i koncepcje działań programowych w zakresie spółdzielczości socjalnej.
    Social co-operatives in Poland have a short but relatively rich history. It was ten years of legislative changes in response to challenges of reintegration of co-operatives and non-governmental organizations, the furthest from the labour market and combining legal forms of work. The latter is a legal essence of a social cooperative, which was inspired by Italian type B co-operatives. The context for these changes are reforms and debates on labour market and social assistance policies, especially in the context of Polish accession to the EU. After the initial period we are ready to assess social co-operatives movement in Poland and to propose new directions and legislative measures to improve its dynamics and other aspects important for the success of reintegration policy.

    Opis:
    At the end of the XX century significant changes in the rehabilitation practice took place. The traditional, medical model of rehabilitation was replaced with the social model. The development of rehabilitation practice required modifications in the approach to the problems of the handicapped. Therefore, the article discusses the results of research which defined life problems experienced currently by the handicapped. As a consequence of the conducted analysis, a proposition has been presented which suggests that the process of adjusting to disability should be interpreted as an individual and linear sequence of changes which lead to varied rehabilitation outcomes. On the basis of this model the article proposes specific principles of influencing psychologically the handicapped in order to increase their involvement in the rehabilitation process.

    The author considers the situation prevailing in post-conflict societies, basing her reflections on the assumption that a key element of the peace process should be the formation (even if incomplete) of a model of group identity. As an example, she references the ethnic identities of the two main actors in the Northern Ireland conflict: the Irish Catholics and the Ulster Protestants. The decades of conflict in Ulster caused the emergence of an ethnic group identity that was defined as being “war-related,” and was oriented toward confrontation with the “enemy” and defense of the group’s rights. The author analyzes examples of creating common actions, initiated both from below and from the top down (the “shared future” policy), paying attention to the potential changes in ethnic attitudes and identities, in order to verify her assumptions.

    Opis:
    This paper on engaged anthropology is focused on several issues which, on the one hand, define the characteristic features of this current of anthropology, and, on the other, allow us to reflect on how the social role of an anthropologist can be understood today. The author begins her remarks by pointing to the ambiguity of the term “commitment” and to some of the consequences. She compares Norbert Elias’s position with the ways of understanding commitment adopted by contemporary anthropologists. She draws attention to the basic epistemological problems of engaged anthropology in regard to understanding cognition processes, and above all in regard to understanding the position of the researcher and the subject. She is then able to comment on contemporary attempts to establish the nature of an anthropologist and his or her potential social role. At the same time, she points to similarities with earlier sociological and anthropological concepts, stressing that the project of engaged anthropology shows a particularly clear link between methodology and ethical reflection.

    Article present various forms of transfer of information available on the Internet. An attempt was made to show the possibility of such a selection of the knowledge sources that, taking into account user preferences, would arouse his interest, showing in parallel the intended substantive content.
