- Students of applied linguistics at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland, and students of the Faculty of School Education at the Philipps-University of Marburg, Germany, in cooperation with the Warsaw Rising Museum, took part in the German-Polish project-based seminar “The Warsaw Uprising – in search of traces 70 years later” in Warsaw, Poland. The end product of their cooperation was a set of topic-related teaching materials designed for secondary or tertiary education learners in Poland and Germany. The paper discusses selected learning potentials of this cross-cultural encounter on the basis of a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the students’ questionnaires and learning diaries.
