Opis:: Rynek powierzchni magazynowych w Polsce charakteryzuje się stałym rozwojem. Już w 2016 roku podpisano umowy najmu na ponad 3 mln m2. Wyniki notowane w sektorze nieruchomości magazynowych z roku na rok są coraz lepsze, a modernizacja łańcuchów dostaw, poprawa jakości dostępu do infrastruktury oraz konsumpcja wymusza na deweloperach inwestycje w nowe budynki. Wysoka absorpcja powierzchni, a także duża liczba inwestycji nie zwiększa natomiast liczby pustostanów na terenie Polski. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie aktualnej sytuacji na rynku powierzchni magazynowych w Polsce w artykule wymienione zostały cele funkcjonowania wymienionych obiektów logistycznych, a także przedstawiono perspektywy rozwoju tego segmentu rynku.
Warehouse space market in Poland is still developing. In 2016 where signed rental agreements for over 3 milions square metres. The results in real estate warehouse market year by year is better, modernization of a supply chains, better quality of accessibility to infrastructure and bigger consumption force on developers investments in new buildings. High absorption warehouse space markets and a big numer of investments, do not foreshorten the amount of vacant buildings in whole Poland. This article shows current situation on a warehouse space market in Poland and also included the purpose of working enumerate logistics objects and prospects of development this market.

Opis:: The paper presents an analysis of the impact of the number of picking aisles, slots in a rack, the size of pick lists, and the routing method on the performance of the order picking process. In the analysis, the forklift truck’s maneuvers such as turns back and turns aside, omitted by some scientists, are considered. Although only random storage assignment is examined in this paper, the possible congestion effect is considered. Experiments were performed by the use of simulations.

Opis:: The purpose of the article is to determine the role of modern technologies in the organization of processes implemented in contemporary warehouses. The first chapter cites the definition of a magazine and describes the processes taking place in it. Next, modern IT systems and devices supporting work in these facilities and leading to its automation were presented. The third chapter presents examples of magazines using these technologies, and also draws attention to the fact that not all companies are ready to introduce this type of innovation in their warehouses.

The following paper presents the concept of green logistics with special attention to warehouse areas. Basic information on the certification of green warehouses was extracted. The main objective of the study was to characterize selected ecological solutions used in modern warehouses. The systems whose operation is based on heat recovery are mentioned. In addition, the advantages of air destratifiers, LEDs and warehouse automation as effective ecological tools are described.

Opis:: Countries’ defence industries are the leading indicator of their global power. The warehouse is the place where the materials are kept until the customer order arrives so that the companies are viable and can respond appropriately to internal/external customer demands. In this regard, warehouse location plays a vital role in the defence industry in terms of storage options with increased flexibility, a simplified supply chain with cost management and optimal positioning according to deployment locations. In this study, the decision on the location of warehouses for logistic support during the warranty period of military vehicles manufactured and supplied to the armed forces by a defence company was made. It is aimed to propose the best solution to a real-life problem with high complexity, containing many data and constraints. In this context, the criteria that are thought to be most relevant to this problem have been determined by taking expert opinions. Having determined the order of importance of the requirements by the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) with the Super Decisions V 2.10, their weights were included as a coefficient of the objective function in the goal programming (GP) model. As a result of solving the GP model using GAMS (general algebraic modelling system), it was decided to select the warehouses that provided the optimal results among the alternative warehouse locations in 9 different locations. Furthermore, to see the impact of changes in criterion weights, sensitivity analysis has also been included. The significance of this research lies within the integrated usage of AHP and GP in the defence industry when determining warehouse locations by the experts’ opinions. With this study, not only a solution strategy was developed, but also a basis for the warehouse location decision in the defence industry projects already signed or to be signed was given.

Opis:: Rentowność firmy to nie tylko efekt rozeznania potrzeb rynku, odpowiedzi firmy na popyt czy tez efekt wybitnych umiejętności w zakresie zdobycia klienta, bowiem niebagatelne znaczenie w takim wypadku ma również wiedza dotycząca zarządzania kosztami. Co ciekawe, gospodarka magazynowa danego przedsiębiorstwa często spektakularnie wpływa na jego koszty. Brak wiedzy w tej dziedzinie może realnie i niepotrzebnie mnożyć koszty, zmniejszając przychody, a w konsekwencji nawet pozbawiać zysków. Jednakże przedsiębiorca w takim wypadku dysponuje wzorami obliczeniowym, narzędziami i usługami. Takie bowiem wartości jak próg rentowności, bieżąca płynność finansowa czy wskaźnik szybki są możliwe do obliczenia. Nadto przedsiębiorca może skorzystać z takich narzędzi gospodarowania zasobami firmy jak kredyt kupiecki czy audyt zewnętrzny w zakresie consultingu logistycznego. Kredyt kupiecki jest często niedoceniany, a przez to i niestosowany. Natomiast usługi w zakresie consultingu logistycznego bywają uznawane za niepotrzebnie generujące dodatkowe koszty. Nie zawsze jednak musi tak być co wskazano w niniejszym artykule.
The company’s profitability is not only the result of assessment of market needs, response to demand or effect the ability to gain customer, because of great importance in this case also has knowledge of cost management. Moreover, warehouse management of a company has often a significant impact on its costs. Lack of knowledge in this field could realistically and unnecessarily multiply costs, reduced revenues and even deprived of profits. However, entrepreneur in this case has a computational models, tools and services. Values such as the threshold of profitability, current liquidity and quick ratio are impossible to calculate. Furthermore, entrepreneur can use tools such as trade credit and external audit in the field of logistics consulting. Trade credit is often underestimated and therefore not used. The services consulting Logistics are often considered as generate unnecessary additional costs, but not always have to be that what is stated in this article.

Opis:: The aim of the research is comparison between average order picking times obtained using the analytical model and simulation methods for shared storage systems. We also compare the results obtained with the results obtained for dedicated storage. We assume the random and ABC-class storage (with within and across aisle storage policies). We select the locations by means of the TOPSIS method for two take-out strategies: quantity adjustment (QA) and priority of partial units (PPU). We determine the route by using s-shape and return heuristics. In most cases, the simulated average order picking times are shorter than the analytical ones. It results from not considering the criteria’ weights in calculation of the analytical order picking time. Also, the results for shared storage with QA strategy are in most cases better than for dedicated storage. This might imply an advantage of shared over dedicated storage, but needs further confirmation.

Opis:: In this article, the results of a series of selected algorithms used during the picking of goods in a warehouse, assuming the order of stacking goods in transport containers is predetermined, are analysed, simulated and evaluated. The importance of the development of this type of algorithms is the possibility of reducing the waiting time of both transport and goods in order to reduce the total cost of the picking process. Afterwards, the results will be analysed by varying the parameters and evaluating the solutions. The aim is to show the results of various picking algorithms when their subsequent stacking order is predetermined, and to use these to identify relationships and define guidelines that could be used to support the design of similar picking algorithms.
