Opis:
In this work, a novel process of pellet non-salt roasting and H2SO4 leaching was proposed for the selective extraction of vanadium from vanadium–titanium magnetite concentrate. Vanadium can be leached but the iron impurity was maintained in the pellets. Moreover, the leached pellets can meet the quality requirements of the iron-making process after secondary roasting, realizing comprehensive utilization. The maximal vanadium leaching efficiency was up to 60.3%, whereas 0.17% of the iron impurity was leached. The optimum conditions of pellet roasting and leaching were obtained by single-factor experiments. The X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy–energy disperse X-ray spectrometry analyses showed that the vanadium iron spinel can be oxidized and decomposed into Fe2O3 and vanadate during the roasting process. Given that dilute sulfuric acid can react with vanadate without reacting with Fe2O3 in the leaching process, selective vanadium extraction was realized. This work provides new insights into the industrial production of vanadium–titanium magnetite concentrate involving the direct extraction of vanadium.

Opis:
A design method of aspheric fisheye lens has been proposed in this paper, based on the requirements of automobile surround view system. The study has designed a kind of ultra-wide-angle fisheye lens, which only consists of a spherical glass lens and three aspherical plastic lenses. The maximum diameter of imaging aperture is 15. 3 mm; the working distance behind is 2.158 mm; the total length of system is 11.44 mm; the focal length is 0.97 mm; the viewing angle is 210°, and the modulation transfer function (MTF) curve is 0.35 at 60 lp/mm. Furthermore, a kind of a distortion correction algorithm for fisheye lens has been created, which calculates the position of the ideal image point with the actual image point and the obtained distortion curve and distortion model. The algorithm can correct the distorted image taken by a fisheye lens to an image without distortion, which is suitable for the human eye. The algorithm, which is simple and effective, has been applied to the automobile surround view system. It has been verified to be accurate and reasonable, after the comparison is made between the real image taken by a fisheye lens and the corrected image.

Opis:
H2 sensing performance of novel Pd–Pt alloy films has been compared with those obtained by using Pd films and H2-reducted PdO films. Two different detecting systems were used to measure the hydrogenation and de-hydrogenation phases with a H2 concentration of both 5% v/v nitrogen and 1% v/v nitrogen at room temperature. The sensitivity loss observed for the Pd–Pt alloy and H2-reducted PdO samples with respect to pure Pd samples can be explained in terms of the reduction in the lattice constant and interstitial volume due to the Pt addition, which determine a decrement of hydrogen atoms penetrating in the films. On the other hand, results show an improvement in time-response for Pd–Pt alloy and H2-reducted PdO films with respect to pure Pd ones, presumably due to the increase of its permeability to H2. Moreover, the sensing measurements repeated after 60 days show that the Pd–Pt alloy films, unlike the Pd-based ones, fully preserve their performances, demonstrating the advantage of the Pt inclusion for stability purposes when the samples are stored upon humidity.
