    W pracy przedstawiono opis projektowanego zamierzenia, jakim jest modernizacja linii kolejowej E30 na odcinku Kraków Główny Towarowy - posterunek odgałęźny Rudzice, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem przebudowy istniejących i budowy nowych obiektów inżynieryjnych, zwłaszcza usytuowanych w historycznym centrum Krakowa. Przedstawiono ogólną charakterystykę inwestycji, pokazano skalę projektu w zakresie obiektów inżynieryjnych. W dalszej części skoncentrowano się na wybranych obiektach inżynieryjnych zlokalizowanych w historycznym centrum Krakowa. Omówiono ich konstrukcję, historię powstania, zakres planowanych prac modernizacyjnych i związane z ich przebudową uwarunkowania konserwatorskie, wynikające bądź z zabytkowego charakteru obiektu (wpis do rejestru lub ewidencji zabytków), bądź z usytuowania w obrębie zabytkowych obszarów urbanistycznych miasta Krakowa. Zaprezentowano również szereg ilustracji, w tym zdjęcia archiwalne i aktualne omawianych obiektów oraz wizualizacje, przedstawiające wkomponowanie nowo projektowanych obiektów w istniejący krajobraz miejski Krakowa.
    The work describes planned investment, which is modernization of the railway line E30 Krakow Main Goods Station - Rudzice turnoff checkpoint, with a particular focus on reconstruction of existing and construction of new engineering structures, especially that situated in the historic centre of Krakow. The general outline of the investment has been shown, the scale of the project in the field of engineering structures has been presented. The later section focuses on selected engineering objects which are located in the historical centre of Krakow. Their construction, the story of erection, the scope of the planned modernization works and relevant conservation terms, resulting either from the historic nature of the object (the entry in the register or the commune record of historic monuments) or from the location within the urban conservation areas of Krakow have been discussed. A series of illustrations, including archival and up-to-date photographs of the described engineering objects, as well as photorealistic visualizations, showing the layout of newly designed structures in relation to existing urban landscape of Krakow have been also presented.

    Most of the publications referred to Logistics 4.0 focus on the description of the newest technologies in contemporary supply chains applications. There are also many articles which treat Logistics 4.0 as a new paradigm. Regarding the fact that there is little amount of publications in the Polish language related to Logistics 4.0, the authors are going to fill identified research gap. Systematic literature review methods were used. The purpose of the research was to define Logistics 4.0 and answer whether it is a new paradigm or a set of known technical, technological and organizing solutions. he analysis covered domestic and foreign publications selected according to an empirical criterion. The literature review proved that Logistics 4.0 is not characterized by features of a new paradigm in management sciences. Logistics 4.0 is a connection of known technical, technological and organizational solutions. The only novelty is a mere connection of above solutions in a consistent logistics concept.

    Nowadays companies must approach the protection of the natural environment as an integral part of their management process. The using of waste as raw materials in manufacturing processes is in line with the idea of maintaining justice across generations. However, business practice has shown that in order for such activities to take place, companies need first to grapple with numerous barriers arising in the course of their adaptation to participate in reverse channels. The purpose of this paper is to present sample barriers encountered during the sourcing of reusable materials, which are the products of the company’s organisational structures and the nature of the entire secondary materials market. Planning the supply of reusable materials supply is more complex compared with planning the supply of primary materials. This is because the flow of re-sources occurs through many reverse channels with unstable supply and material quality (industrial and household waste). The supply, which means the availability of raw materials, depends on many issues. However, the limited availability of natural resources makes creating sustainable supply chains, operating like ecosystems, a pressing requirement.

    The Authors’ research has concentrated on the modelling and parametrization of procurement processes – order/ delivery processes. The methods employed in the research were: modelling approach towards logistics systems and processes as well iGrafx software. The result of the works is the Authors’ own project composed of 10 elements, which allows for conducting a multi-criteria analysis of procurement and transportation processes. This paper describes the simulation of procurement according to economic order quantity method. Business processes today are volatile, complex and with many interdependencies; a tendency to reduce the risk of failure is prevalent. Computer simulation as a tool for analysing and predicting future enables the testing of various solution variants over a short period of time – at no capital investment cost or without taking unnecessary risk. The result of the research has a practical application in both manufacturing and trading companies.

    W artykule przedstawione zostały wyniki badań w zakresie podjętej próby zwartościowania zagrożeń występujących podczas wykonywania robót budowlanych. Próba zwartościowania zagrożeń dokonana została dla dużego przedsięwzięcia budowlanego za pomocą autorskiej metody klasyfikacji, analizy i oceny obserwowanych nieprawidłowości na budowie oraz w ponad 50 firmach podwykonawczych. Firmy te zatrudniały w analizowanym okresie około 600 pracowników. Opisywane badania prowadzono przez dwa miesiące. Zaobserwowano około 400 nieprawidłowości. Każdą z nich subiektywnie oceniono według przyjętej skali trzystopniowej, którą ustalono w zależności od szkodliwości, jakie mogły spowodować wśród pracowników lub otoczenia. Następnie, ze względu na ich charakter, nieprawidłowości podzielono na 16 grup. Opracowano również trzy wskaźniki liczbowe: występowania nieprawidłowości w firmach, ważności nieprawidłowości dla całej budowy, oraz procentowy wskaźnik udziału nieprawidłowości dla całej budowy. Dzięki tak przygotowanym danym wejściowym oraz opracowanym wskaźnikom przedstawiono liczbowo różnice w podejściu poszczególnych firm do problematyki bezpieczeństwa pracy, jak również rozkład istotności poszczególnych nieprawidłowości w zakresie całej budowy. Przyjęte metody opracowane zostały w sposób umożliwiający wykorzystanie ich do badania problemów związanych z bezpieczeństwem na innych budowach realizowanych przy pomocy podwykonawców. Z badań wynika, że stosując odpowiednią politykę zarządzania bezpieczeństwem, można skutecznie poprawić stan bezpieczeństwa na polskich budowach.
    The chapter presents the results of the research on the attempt to reduce the risks occurring during the execution of construction works. For example, a large construction project was selected. Attempts to reduce the risk were made by introducing the author's method of elaborating research results. This method was concerned with the classification, analysis and evaluation of observed irregularities on the site and in subcontractors. During the research carried out, the general contractor carried out finishing works with more than 50 subcontractors. These companies employed around 600 employees in the period under review. The study was conducted for two months. About 400 abnormalities were observed. Each of the abnormalities was subjectively assessed. This was done in accordance with the three-step scale accepted by the authors. This scale were established according to the harm that the observed irregularities could cause among employees or the environment. Then, due to their nature, these abnormalities were divided into 16 groups. Three indicators have been developed for the evaluation: the incidence of irregularities, the irregularity index for the whole construction, the percentage of irregularities for the whole construction. With the input data prepared and the indicators developed, numerical differences in the approach of individual companies to the problem of occupational safety, as well as the distribution of the significance of individual irregularities in the whole construction, are presented. The adopted methods have been developed in such a way that they can be used to investigate safety issues on other constructions with the help of subcontractors. Research shows that using appropriate occupational safety management policy, you can effectively improve the safety of Polish construction.
