Opis:
Urządzenia i systemy melioracyjne stanowią ważny element infrastruktury technicznej państwa. Obok funkcji środowiskowej, czy produkcyjnej w rolnictwie, spełniają one również istotną rolę w ochronie przeciwpowodziowej.
This work presents the initial conception of conservation ranking of melioration watercourses and channels according to CNC algorithm. Catchment area, percentage of arable area in considered part of watercourse area, as well as the period which passed from the last conservation works have been considered as main factors which have a significant impact on need of conservation work carriage. Presented here evaluation with CNC algorithm facilitates a classification of different watercourse area and carry through possible conservation work in low financial abilities. Very important is further development of conception of algorithm ranking and necessity of conservation steps. It is necessary to perform much more detailed analysisof magnitude of algorithm and include other possible factors influencing necessity of performing conservation. Larger amount of data concerning watercourse area will allow for further development of this method and the sensitivity of algorithm to different factors. Initial analysis of obtained results indicates that the main impact on conservation work necessity have catchment area. The results also indicate that in the watercourses of small catchment, the catchment coefficient doesn't need to have deciding role on the ranking results. Besides the ranking of conservation need grows significantly according to the growth of arable area in analyzed each partial catchment as well as to the period which passed from the last conservation work carriage. If catchments with large area were conserved recently, the need of carrying through conservation one more time was not significant according to CNC algorithm. Proposed here method is functional for performing one of three main problems in "Strategia gospodarki wodnej" [13]. This problem concerns cost of water manage-ment, as well as financial needs. Proposed method is also an attempt to solve other problem: protection of environment mentioned in "Program operacyjny infrastruktura i środowisko" [12].

Opis:
High-quality products include those with better surface quality and texture, close dimensional tolerances and form accuracies at precise level, increase fatigue life and burr-free. Burr formation is one of the most common inevitable facts occurring in all material removal processes, reduces assembly and machined part quality. But, burr formation during milling is a more complex mechanism compare to remaining machining burrs and leads to numerous difficulties during the deburring process. To prevent this, one should optimize the combination of cutting parameters during machining itself. In order to build up a link between quality and productivity and to attain the same in the cost-effective way, the present work concentrate on multi objective optimization of CNC end milling process parameters. Multiple performance characteristics with respect to surface quality and performance index like assembly work have been put up, to assess an equivalent single quality index (called grey relational grade) has been optimized finally by Grey based Taguchi method. After that priority weight of individual quality and performance attributes has been estimated by entropy measurement technique on the basis of relative significance and check the feasibility of the proposed technique has been demonstrated in this context.

Opis:
One of the important and still current problems occurring in the fish processing industry is the intensive wear of the cutting surface of industrial cutting blades used to separate the fish raw material. In the paper, the proposes aproprietary solution to the above problem consisting in the regeneration of worn surfaces realized in the process of precise grinding by the use of a prototype 5-axis CNC grinding machine was presented. The obtained machining results were verified, among others on the basis of measurements of values of the cutting edges inclination angles and analysis of values of selected surface roughness parameters. The proposed solution along with the developed methodology can be an interesting alternative to typical ways of renewing the cutting ability of cutting tools in applications from the fish processing industry.

Opis:
Non-imaging Fresnel lenses have been playing an important role in improving the efficiency of the solar energy systems. Many researchers have been developing novel designs of Fresnel lenses to enhance the concentrator performance. To bring the complex design of a Fresnel lens from a conceptual theory to a real-life application while maintaining its efficiency, it is critical to find the optimum manufacturing method that achieves the best quality fabrication at low cost in the lab scale. This work will systematically investigate four advanced manufacturing methods for their lens-making capabilities, including pressure casting, hot embossing, 3D printing, and CNC machining. Six Fresnel lenses were fabricated by the four methods, which were tested in the lab by a solar simulator and a solar cell to demonstrate their performances. The CNC machining provides the best quality lab-scale Fresnel lens that enhances the solar cell efficiency by 118.3%. 3D printing and hot embossing methods are also promising for the fabrication of good performance lenses – increasing the solar cell efficiency by 40-70%. However, the 3D printed lens has the issue of material degradation on the long term. Although the pressure casting is the easiest manufacturing method, the performance of fabricated lens was the lowest.
