The aim of this work is to study the influence of chamfered perforation and chamfering on the heave and pitch motion of a single floating wind power platform with an anti-heave device. Firstly, the hydrodynamic performance of a single floating body with different chamfers, or without perforation, is calculated and analysed. Secondly, the motion of a model without perforation and with 35° chamfered perforation is captured and studied in a towing tank. The results show that when the wave height is large and the period is small, the perforated device has a certain effect. When the wave height and period are small, the pitch suppression effect of chamfered perforation is more obvious than that of non-chamfered perforation. When the period and wave height are large, the heave suppression effect of non-chamfered perforation is better than that of chamfered perforation. In experimental research, the perforated floating body has a certain effect on restraining the heave and pitch of a floating body under most working conditions, and the effect of restraining the pitch is obviously better than that of restraining the heave.

Opis:
The increasing use of automation in fishing vessels has improved trawling efficiency while directly affecting the fishing capacity and cost of fishing vessels. Among the various influencing factors, warp tension and warp length can be varied to automatically balance the retraction and release of warp control. We combined the two parameters and independently designed and developed the key equipment for fishing vessels—the warp dynamometer and meter counter—and control software. The accuracy of the warp tension and length measurements was improved. The designed equipment was applied to sea trials under different working conditions, and the test data records were exported. Next, filtered time-domain graphs of the required parameters were plotted through complex Fourier transform, first-order lowpass filtering, and inverse Fourier transform. The results of data processing using various parameters were compared and analysed to determine the variation trends of the parameters and verify the effects of their balance control. The results indicated that using an automatic balance control system that combines warp tension and warp length can be effective for the fishing operation of offshore double-deck trawlers. In addition, first-order low-pass filtering can be used to filter complex warp tension data. This study also determined the relationship between warp tension and experimental parameters such as warp length and ship speed during the release of control. After the balance control of warp tension and warp length, the net mouth area increased by 30.7% and 36.5%, respectively, and the fishing efficiency of the vessel improved considerably.

This paper is concerned with sampled-data leader following consensus of multiple unmanned surface vehicle (MUSV) systems with random switching network topologies and wave-induced disturbance. By modelling the switching of network topologies with the use of a Markov process and considering the effect of wave-induced disturbance, a new sampleddata consensus control protocol is proposed. By employing an appropriate Lyapunov-Krosovskii function method and the weak infinitesimal operation, a novel stability criterion is derived, which ensures that the MUSV system can reach robustly leader-following consensus with H∞ performance satisfied. Based on this criterion, the Markov dependent switching consensus controller gains are obtained by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, an illustrative example is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme for MUSV systems.

In this paper, two analysis models for tension leg platform (TLP) are proposed based on different simulation methods of the tendons for studying the TLP motion responses in waves. In the uncoupled analysis model, the tendon is simplified as a spring, and the restoring forces matrix is derived with the consideration of the influence of the coupled effect of horizontal offset and vertical setdown of the platform. In the coupled model, the axial and transverse vibration’s coupled effect has been considered for the establishment of the vibration equations for the tendons, and the finite difference method is used to solve the vibration equations. The time-domain coupled motion model of the platform and the mooring system is established based on the interaction forces between the tendons and the platform. The coupled and uncoupled TLP models are compared and analysed to determine their applicability. Compared with the uncoupled TLP model, the coupled TLP model has greater accuracy and a wider application range, and the effects of second-order wave force on the platform responses, horizontal offset, and vertical subsidence are analysed.
