Opis:
The aim of the paper is to present the synthesis method of classic PID controller for a class of unstable plant. The proposed method based directly on Skogestad paper, where analitical synthesis of PID controllers in described. This paper is generalization of that approach on a class of unstable plants with delay. Analitical method for synthesis of fractional controllers is given. The considerations are illustrated By numerical example and results of computer simulation with MATLAB/Simulink.

Opis:
The paper presents the process of modeling and designing control laws for four-rotor type of the Parrot UAV. The state space model is obtained by using several phenomena like gyroscopic effects for rigid bodies, propellers and rotors. The obtained model has been used to design PID control laws for roll, pitch, yaw angle and altitude, respectively. The numerical simulations of the closed loop model are shown that system in satisfy way stabilize flight of the quadro-rotor in all considered directions.

Opis:
The paper presents the design and practical implementation of PID controllers for a Stewart platform. The platform uses a resistance touch panel as a sensor and servo motors as actuators. The complete control system stabilizing the ball on the platform is realized with the Arduino microcontroller and the Matlab/Simulink software. Two processes required to acquire measurement signals from the touch panel in two perpendicular directions X and Y, are discussed. The first process includes the calibration of the touch panel, and the second process - the filtering of measurement signals with the low pass Butterworth filter. The obtained signals are used to design the algorithm of the ball stabilization by decoupling the global system into two local subsystems. The algorithm is implemented in a soft real time system. The parameters of both PID controllers (PIDx and PIDy) are tuned by the trial-error method and implemented in the microcontroller. Finally, the complete control system is tested at the laboratory stand.

Opis:
An averaging tank with variable filling is a nonlinear multidimensional system and can thus be considered a complex control system. General control objectives of such object include ensuring stability, zero steady-state error, and achieving simultaneously shortest possible settling time and minimal overshoot. The main purpose of this research work was the modeling and synthesis of three control systems for an averaging tank. In order to achieve the intended purpose, in the first step, a mathematical model of the control system was derived. The model was adapted to the form required to design two out of three planned control systems by linearization and reduction of its dimensions, resulting in two system variants. A multivariable proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control system for the averaging tank was developed using optimization for tuning PID controllers. State feedback and output feedback with an integral action control system for the considered control system was designed using a linear-quadratic regulator (LQR) and optimization of weights. A fuzzy control system was designed using the Mamdani inference system. The developed control systems were tested using theMATLAB environment. Finally, the simulation results for each control algorithm (and their variants) were compared and their performance was assessed, as well as the effects of optimization in the case of PID and integral control (IC) systems.
