    W artykule przedstawiono zbiór kryteriów do oceny przedsiębiorstwa górniczego zgodnie z zasadami zrównoważonego rozwoju. Dodatkowo zaprezentowano metody, za pomocą których można utworzyć liniowy ranking przedsiębiorstw. Pozwalają one również przeprowadzić analizę działalności przedsiębiorstwa w aspekcie zrównoważonego rozwoju.
    The paper presents a set of criteria for evaluating a mining enterprise according to the principles sustainable development. In addition, the method is presented with which you can create a linear ranking of companies. They also an analysis of activities of the company the context of sustainable development.

    Zrównoważony rozwój wymaga od przedsiębiorstwa dodatkowych wysiłków i nakładów finansowych na zwiększoną aktywność przede wszystkim w obszarze społecznym i ekologicznym. Niemniej są to starania, które warto podjąć z uwagi na możliwość poprawy wizerunku przedsiębiorstwa i jego relacji z interesariuszami wewnętrznymi i zewnętrznymi. Z uwagi na powyższe argumenty celem niniejszego artykułu jest identyfikacja możliwości oraz barier wdrażania zrównoważonego rozwoju w polskich przedsiębiorstwach górniczych w kontekście obowiązujących standardów, dotychczasowych doświadczeń i aktualnych uwarunkowań rynkowych.
    Sustainable Development (SD) requires from an enterprise additional efforts and financial inputs for increased activity especially in social and ecological areas. Despite of this, these efforts are worth of taking because they could improve the enterprise’s image and its relations with internal and external stakeholders. Due to above arguments the main aim of this article is to identify possibilities and barriers in Sustainable Development (SD) implementation in Polish coal mining enterprises in context of present standards, experiences and existent market conditions.

    W artykule starano się określić, czy występuje związek pomiędzy zasadą odpowiedzialności za zrównoważony rozwój przedsiębiorstwa zawartą w modelu doskonałości EFQM a określonymi miernikami stopnia wdrożenia koncepcji zarządzania jakością. W celu weryfikacji tego zagadnienia przeprowadzono badanie ankietowe wśród przedsiębiorstw zlokalizowanych na Podlasiu. W pracy opisano zarówno przebieg procesu badawczego, jak i wyniki przeprowadzonej analizy statystycznej zgromadzonych danych.
    In the paper, the author tries to find out is there a correlation between selected elements of the principle of responsibility for the sustainable development of the organization contained in the model of excellence EFQM and specific measures of the degree of implementation of the concept of quality management. In this context, there were presented steps of conducted research. The research was organized in Podlaskie voivodeship on a group of selected companies. Research results have been statistically analyzed.

    Opis:
    Purpose: The aim of the study is to present selected elements of management, vital for the future development (change trends) of enterprises, with respect to the global environment, process management and ecology. Design/methodology/approach: Statistical data analysed, surveys and research literature. Findings: There are some change trends in the management of enterprises of the future, modern technologies and good management of innovations that will be of importance here, as well as the growing significance of ecology and sustainable development, together with waste recycling and searching for alternative and new energy sources. Process management, in contrast, may be on a similar level of assessment in the future as it is at present. Research limitations/implications: Survey small research, unrepresentative of the SME sector in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. Pilot case studies. Practical implications: For the good development of enterprises of the future, innovations in a new perspective are of great significance. The development of networks of all kinds will also have a large impact on management in the global future with the use of digital platforms, but already global according to the fourth industrial revolution. Nevertheless, when selecting technologies, forms, concepts, methods and management techniques, all their advantages and disadvantages must be considered. Social implications: Although the ecological approach is not the most crucial for the management and employees of companies, it is nonetheless growing according to evaluations. Ecology and innovation in governance must be taken into account for the benefit of societies. Originality/value: Own small survey research, pilot studies and own analysed references. On the basis of the analysed economic and social statistics, own observation and research, there are selected aspects of the development enterprise, modern methods of management and in the global environment, having regard to the ecology and risk. Herein are conclusions on the development of changes in organisations and the development of the management process.

    Opis:
    The main aim of the paper is to study the impact of the level of digitization of business activities on the human resources orientation on sustainable consumption and production (SCP) in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Design/methodology/approach: During the research process, a survey was conducted among 140 SMEs in Poland at the beginning of 2020. The multiple regression model was built to find the link between the variables. Findings: Statistical analysis indicated that digitization did not have a clearly positive impact on employees’ orientation towards SCP. Among the analysed variables, negatively correlated relationships appeared, especially in the area of the digitization of contacts with the customers. Research limitations: As limitations, it can be pointed the managerial approach during survey research, limited research group, as well as the study period excluding pandemic time. Originality/value: The novelty of the research manifests itself in in the fact that the research problem was applied to the small and medium-sized enterprises, instead of to corporations.
