    Jakościowa analiza ryzyka jest procesem, który polega na oszacowaniu wielkości prawdopodobieństwa oraz skutków wystąpienia czynników ryzyka, określonych na etapie identyfikacji. Ma ona umożliwić dokonanie hierarchizacji zidentyfikowanych czynników według ich potencjalnego wpływu na osiągnięcie celów projektu, wskazując kierownikowi projektu ryzyko priorytetowe (ze względu na przyjęte kryterium, np. poziom ryzyka, prawdopodobieństwo lub dotkliwość skutków), przeznaczone do dalszej analizy. W artykule zaprezentowano hierarchię czynników ryzyka w projektach planowanych i realizowanych w sektorze prywatnym, utworzoną na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań empirycznych oraz przedstawiono rekomendacje dla poprawy obecnej sytuacji.
    Qualitative risk analysis is the estimation of the probability and impact of risks that have been identified during identification phase. It should allow to make a hierarchy of identified risks according to their potential impact on the achievement of the project objectives. It should also show to the project manager the priority risk (in accordance with criteria such as the level of risk, the likelihood or severity of effects) for further analysis. The article presents the hierarchy of risks in private sector projects that is based on empirical research and makes recommendations for improving the current situation.

Zasadniczą część artykułu stanowi wizualizacja opracowanej sieci technik jakościowych podlaskich przedsiębiorstw.
    The aim of the article was to review chosen qualitative methods used by a selected group of entrepreneurs; these were companies appointed from among businesses localized in the Podlaskie voivodship. The authors of the article focused on the analysis of usage frequency of the chosen qualitative techniques as well as on the frequency of their co-occurrence in the same companies. The main part of the article is constituted by a visualization of the developed network of qualitative techniques in Podlasie's businesses.

    Progressing economic changes force organizations to introduce consistent actions whose aim is to improve processes taking place in them. If undertaken actions are to produce a desired result, they should be accompanied by application of diverse pro-quality tools and methods. On the basis of the conducted research, the author analyzes the usefulness of quality management techniques identified as the most frequently utilized in the examined group of companies. Not only does the author discuss the aspect of their usefulness in activities undertaken so far, but she also analyzes entrepreneurs' opinions on potential application of the designated techniques in future.

    In the article we assessed the in-plant transport on the soldering line. The assessment was based on three-month process observation, registration of non-conformities and a modified PFMEA analysis form. Among the 9 non-compliance groups, the so-called critical inconsistencies for which the reasons for their generation have been determined. Actions have been developed to eliminate the causes of non-compliance, aimed at improving the process and devices of in-house transport. The proposed solutions are implemented in the analyzed organization.

Celem publikacji jest analiza technik detekcji z punktu widzenia ich wpływu na jakość produktu. Każda z opisanych metod detekcji niezgodności ma zarówno zalety, jak i pewne ograniczenia związane ze stosowaniem.
    The publication presents issues concerning the analysis of welding incompatibilities and techniques enabling their detection. The aim of the publication is the analysis of detection techniques from the point of view of their impact on product quality. Each of the non-compliant detection methods described in the publication has both advantages and limitations related to the use.

    W artykule starano się określić, czy występuje związek pomiędzy zasadą odpowiedzialności za zrównoważony rozwój przedsiębiorstwa zawartą w modelu doskonałości EFQM a określonymi miernikami stopnia wdrożenia koncepcji zarządzania jakością. W celu weryfikacji tego zagadnienia przeprowadzono badanie ankietowe wśród przedsiębiorstw zlokalizowanych na Podlasiu. W pracy opisano zarówno przebieg procesu badawczego, jak i wyniki przeprowadzonej analizy statystycznej zgromadzonych danych.
    In the paper, the author tries to find out is there a correlation between selected elements of the principle of responsibility for the sustainable development of the organization contained in the model of excellence EFQM and specific measures of the degree of implementation of the concept of quality management. In this context, there were presented steps of conducted research. The research was organized in Podlaskie voivodeship on a group of selected companies. Research results have been statistically analyzed.

Analiza ryzyka pomaga w podejmowaniu decyzji wpływających na jakość produktu i kondycję finansową organizacji.
    Risk management has recently become the standard in company’s quality management systems. Each business activity is fraught with risk that can be minimised by analysis and risk-assessment. Each management field, from order reception till product final acceptance, generates some risk. Fulfilling welding process technical requirements allows to diminish potential process threats. Risk analysis helps to make decisions that influence product quality and finance condition of the organisation.

    Purpose: In the development of ideas for Industry 4.0, information about the element production cycle has become more and more important. Knowledge of the subsequent forming processes, determination of the machine on which the process has been carried out and of the type and wear of the tool, leads to smart production management, which plays an increasingly important role in the metal forming industry. To meet the current expectations for these challenges, an advanced technology needs to be introduced for monitoring the manufacturing processes by deploying flexible solutions. This technology must include, but not be limited to, identifying and tracking the product using laser marking. Design/methodology/approach: Laser marking allows a permanent mark in the form of a barcode to be applied to the sheet metal surface. Commonly used marking methods and the condition of the sheet metal surface can affect the marking contrast. This paper presents a concept for recording individual stages of sheet metal forming and determination of the impact of the laser marking technology on the contrast of the applied barcode. To ensure accurate control of the deformation stages, the bulging process of the spherical dome has been used as an example. Findings: Analysis of the influence of laser marking method on the barcode recognition accuracy can contribute to the development of smart management of the production process according to the idea of Industry 4.0. Research limitations/implications: A large plastic deformation has been applied to the sheet metal surface and no limitation in a barcode reading process (using vision scanning technology) was indicated. Also, the geometry deformation (different angle view of the CCD camera) of the barcode image has introduced no additional problems with a barcode reading. Originality/value: The optimal parameters of a laser marking technique for barcode marking, which are critical for the material that is subjected to metal forming operations that deform it, have been studied. The results shows that traceability is an attractive solution for tracking technological data in the production chain for a single-shaped product.

    Rapid urbanization has resulted in a slew of issues, including urban transportation, in most emerging countries' cities. Public transportation provides transportation for the community and plays an important role in the daily lives of the city's citizens, particularly the urban poor, by reducing travel costs and providing job opportunities. Thus, evaluating public bus service performance from the perspective of users is critical for identifying service operators' strengths and deficiencies. Consequently, the primary goal of this research is to determine the level of consumer satisfaction with public bus service in the city and identify the most important factors that influence satisfaction. Hence, a survey was carried out between December and January 2020. Stratified sampling approaches were used to obtain data from 500 travelers. Factor analysis and customer satisfaction index were used to analyze the data collected. Lastly, the findings show that users were quietly satisfied (0.54) with the quality of the bus services supplied in the city. Moreover, travelers were better satisfied with attributes that related to availability (0.64) and less satisfied with attributes under timeliness (0.50) and security (0.48). Therefore, service operators and other concerned stakeholders should give urgent attention to attributes under timeliness and security to enhance users’ satisfaction in the provision of bus service in the city.

    Purpose: Interactivity and simplicity of navigation make users browse a website, and its usefulness is the main factor which influences the intention of using it to buy a product or service. The aim of the paper was to identify the most frequent project errors that negatively impact the usability of websites of agortourism farms. Design/methodology/approach: The surveys were carried out by the audit method in a set of websites which were grouped according to accepted categories. The audit was based on a heuristic analysis using a control list. Findings: A number of usability problems have been identified in the set of examined websites; however, the most important were the lack of explicit updates or the presentation of outdated information, as well as the dysfunction of forms – contact and inquiry. Zero-category sites are unusable. They are characterised, among others, by no visible updates (or presentation of outdated information), archaic technique of execution, often based on so-called “Frames” (iframes) or tables, as well as imperfect, archaic graphic design. Originality/value: The usefulness of a website (reflected in the design details) goes into the background when it only serves an information and contact function and does not provide advanced functionalities, such as, for example, an accommodation booking form. In the case of agrotourism farms, the most important elements are the thematic graphic design and exhaustive content.

    The basic objective of this paper is to present the possibilities of applying selected quality tools in analysing the reasons for discrepancies as exemplified by the process of manufacturing wet refractory mortars. Using various methods and tools, the authors looked for the root causes of a quality rejects occurrence. The following selected methods and tools were used: analysis of variance – ANOVA, the individual moving range (I-MR) chart, SIPOC process mapping, analysis of regression, identification of potential root causes of a problem – 7M, Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GRR). The paper shows how it is possible to search for the causes of quality rejects by means of deliberately selected tools and methods and to successfully decrease the number of discrepancies after introduction of the appropriate corrective actions. The authors indicate how it is possible to analyse the processes of manufacturing wet refractory mortars and what can be done in the situation when a faulty measuring system (returning seriously erroneous results) is the reason for a lack of or lower detectability of wet mortar flaws as it has affected the accuracy of feeding of all components of the recipe, as well as the consistency, moisture content, and hardness/softness of mortar. The collected analysis results allowed the authors to conclude that there were seven probable root causes influencing the hardening of mortar and the loss of its primary functions. This paper could be useful for those wet refractory mortars manufacturers who find it difficult to build their knowledge about product properties based on available publications sources.

    The work presents a methodology that allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of the system in accordance with accepted standards in terms of the three components of the “passenger–carrier–department” system, taking into account the interests of each side. The given comprehensive effectiveness evaluation of the urban public passenger transport system shows that a new scientific idea consists in forming fundamentally new sets of indicators for each participant of the system (passenger–carrier–department of transport) that correspond to the conditions of functioning of the urban passenger transport system in Russian Federation. The article presents a classification model for the formation of a basic system of indicators and a functional scheme for grouping and ranking them. The effectiveness of the urban public passenger transport system can be considered separately for each participant in the system from its side, in two directions: horizontal (by year, for example, for an enterprise) and vertical (in the current period for all participants).
