    Opis:
    In 2018, there was an empirical research conducted in passengers' interest in innovative methods of passenger handling within passenger transport in the Slovak Republic. The research determined the knowledge of passengers regarding new methods, namely, NFC technologies, EMV technologies and ABT technologies. The article defines the methodology of choosing an electronic payment system within public transport, followed by partial results of research multicriteria evaluation of alternatives electronic payment system in public transport. For evaluation of variants, an electronic payment system within public transport was the selected method of a total utility.

    W ostatnich latach zaobserwować można wzrost presji ukierunkowanej na informatyzację branży turystycznej, spowodowany dynamicznym rozwojem infotechnologii. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki testów synchronicznych użyteczności, których głównym celem była identyfikacja niezgodności (błędów) prezentacji poszczególnych elementów witryn gospodarstw agroturystycznych w różnych przeglądarkach internetowych.
    In recent years, there has been an increase in the pressure on the tourism industry due to the dynamic development of ICT. The article presents the results of the synchronous tests of usability, the main purpose of which was to identify the incompatibility (errors) of the presentation of particular elements of agritourism farms websites in various web browsers.

    Opis:
    The optimal tuning of a mechanical system in terms of torsional dynamics is a very important function of the flexible shaft coupling, built in the system. Therefore, a flexible coupling with suitable dynamic properties has to be carefully chosen for each specific application. The main advantage of the pneumatic flexible shaft couplings, that is, torsional vibration tuners, developed at our department, is that we can easily regulate their dynamic properties, particularly their dynamic torsional stiffness during the operation of a mechanical system. In order to improve our pneumatic tuners in terms of better utilisation of their pneumatic flexible elements and achieving specific operational properties, two new pneumatic tuners with tangential arrangement of their pneumatic flexible elements were designed. The aim of this article was to introduce these new pneumatic tuners, protected by means of utility models, namely a tangential pneumatic flexible shaft coupling with axially deformed flexible elements and tangential pneumatic flexible shaft coupling with serial arranged flexible elements. Due to the fact that both mentioned pneumatic tuners are not yet manufactured, this article deals mainly with the principles and expected advantages of the pneumatic tuners.

    Opis:
    Purpose: This paper aims to contribute to the field by exploring the development of the functionality of mobile applications in crises using commercial banks as an example. Design/methodology/approach: This research was conducted between 2020 and 2022 in 13 commercial banks, performing a total of 390 complete tests of mobile applications by 30 clients (respondents). Findings: It was found that mobile applications are becoming a significant customer service channel in some banks. In addition, the mobile application is helpful for the client since it can replace personal contact with the bank in terms of service without needing additional support from an advisor in other contact channels. It was also found that crises significantly accelerate the development of mobile applications to meet customers' needs and expectations. Research limitations/implications: The research was conducted as part of the Institution of the Year project in 2020, 2021, and 2022. The study was carried out in 13 commercial banks, performing 390 complete tests of mobile applications by 30 clients (respondents). Practical implications: Crises, which have occurred frequently in recent years, force managers to take measures to respond quickly to the needs and expectations of customers. The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic made it impossible for many customers to contact direct sales field personnel directly. The banking sector has also been affected by this problem. Although banks had used mobile applications for some time, customers could only use a limited set of functions. They had to go to a bank branch to open an account or take a loan. Social implications: To meet customer requirements, bank managers make strategic decisions to improve mobile applications to meet the needs and expectations of customers and achieve a high level of satisfaction. There are many studies on responding to crises in various sectors. The research results will positively influence the improvement of the quality of services as well as the progress of the quality of life of society. Originality/value: No research has been conducted on customers' role in creating new mobile application improvements. Therefore, the article presents the research results in this field, and the appropriate conclusions were drawn.

    Z przeglądu literatury wynika, że skuteczność produktu staje się zaledwie tłem dla rozważań nad efektywnością produktu. Obie kategorie nie są jednak zupełnie neutralne względem siebie. Skuteczność produktu jako stopień realizacji założonego celu nawiązuje do efektów, a efektywność produktu jest relacją uzyskanych efektów do nakładów. Percepcja efektywności produktu od strony efektów pozwala wnioskować, że podstawowym jej wyznacznikiem jest skuteczność produktu. W niniejszym ujęciu skuteczność ta została przedstawiona w konwencji charakteryzujących ją zależności funkcyjnych oraz sposobu rozwiązywania według złożoności i specyfiki instrumentalnej struktury produktu.
    A review of the literature suggests that the efficacy of the product is just a backdrop for the debate on the effectiveness of the product. Both groups, however, are not completely neutral relative to each other. The efficacy of the degree of attainment of the objective to establish the effects and effectiveness of the product is the relation obtained effects to resources. The perception of the effectiveness of the product from the effects to the conclusion that the primary determinant of the effectiveness of the product.
