The article presents the results of a study on the role of social participation (Reinders) in shaping the identity (Luyckx et al.) of people with mild intellectual disability in late adolescence and emerging adulthood compared to those in intellectual norm (N = 127). Three waves of measurement were carried out at semi-annual intervals, using the Dimensions of Identity Development Scale (DIDS/PL-1) and the Social Participation Questionnaire (SPQ-S). In all the waves people with intellectual disability had a higher level of the moratorium orientation, and at Wave 3 they had a higher level of the transitive orientation. Differences in the levels of identity dimensions were observed in only one wave and only in the case of exploration in depth. The type of social participation has proved to be a factor differentiating the levels of identity dimensions, especially commitment making and identification with commitment, the highest level of which was observed in people with integration and assimilation types. The study responds to the need, expressed in the literature, to focus on specific groups in identity development studies.

This main aim of this paper is to present some theoretical considerations about the need for a cultural approach in modern developmental psychology. Starting with a critique of the over-universalisation of developmental research in American psychology, the authors present a paradigm of a relational-developmental system, using the concept of embodiment and a cultural approach in psychological research, in which the principal object of analysis is person-in-action as a culturally inclusive alternative for developmental psychology. This approach will be exemplified by research on development through guided participation and the role of shame in moral and social development in Confucian culture.

Opis:
The concept of “good governance,” reflected in legislation, modifies the nature of the activity of public authorities. It is currently being promoted by international institutions, including the European Union, particularly with regard to its cohesion policy, which should be based on the principles of openness, participation, accountability, effectiveness and cohesion. Therefore, the existing mechanisms of cross-sectoral cooperation are being modified and new organisational and legal forms are emerging. They meet the requirements of openness, partnership and dialogue of public administration with social partners, thus increasing the effectiveness of bodies of public administration. As a result of consultation, as well as through the direct involvement of social partners in the implementation of tasks, the public are more trusting and the actions of public authorities are gaining more legitimacy.

Kult chrześcijański jest kultem na wzór Jezusa Chrystusa i w zjednoczeniu z Nim (Rz 12, 1). Dlatego najpełniejszym wyrazem kultu w Kościele jest Eucharystia. W niej uobecnia się sakramentalnie jedyna i raz na zawsze dokonana ofiara Chrystusa, czyli Jego życie w posłuszeństwie i oddaniu się Ojcu, które ma swe spełnienie w śmierci na krzyżu. Uczestnictwo wiernych w Eucharystii polega na naśladownictwie Jezusa w posłuszeństwie Ojcu, czyli na składaniu duchowych ofiar, które Jezus włącza w swą jedyną ofiarę. Uczestnictwo w Eucharystii jako szczególne wyzwanie w okresie pandemii nie tylko ze względu na trudności z fizycznym uczestnictwem, ale też możliwie pełnym uczestnictwem pozasakramentalnym, czyli na odległość. Pierwszym ważnym warunkiem jest pragnienie sakramentalnego uczestnictwa i zjednoczenia z Chrystusem, czyli komunia duchowa. Pomocne w tym są transmisje Mszy przez środki przekazu. Kolejnymi istotnymi warunkami takiego uczestnictwa są towarzyszące mu pragnienie nieustannego nawracania się (ukierunkowanie życia na Boga) oraz zaangażowanie na różnych płaszczyznach w życie Kościoła. Za szczególny filar takiego uczestnictwa pozasakramentalnego należy uznać rozważnie słowa Bożego w formie lectio divina. Wierny ma prawo czytać księgi Pisma św. w dowolnej kolejności. Jednak najbardziej eklezjalną lekturą Biblii jest ta, ukierunkowana na codzienną Eucharystię. Pojedynczy wierny karmi się tym słowem, które danego dnia jest skierowane do całego Kościoła.
Christian worship is worship modelled on that of Jesus Christ, and in union with Him (cf. Rm. 12:1). Therefore the fullest expression of the worship of the Church is the Eucharist. In it is made sacramentally present the consummate, once-for-all, unique offering of Christ, that is to say, His life of obedience and devotion to the Father, which has its fulfillment in death upon the cross. The participation of the faithful in the Eucharist consists in the following of Jesus in obedience to the Father, that is, in rendering a spiritual offering which Jesus joins to His one offering. Participation in the Eucharist is a special challenge during the pandemic not only due to physical difficulties in participating, but also as regards fullest possible extra-sacramental participation, i.e., long-distance participation. The most important condition is the desire for sacramental participation and union with Christ, that is, spiritual communion. Mass-media transmissions of the Mass are helpful in this. Other essential conditions for such participation are an accompanying desire for ongoing conversion (directing of one’s life towards God) and involvement in the life of the Church on various levels. Meditation on the Word of God in the form of lectio divina is to be considered as an especial pillar of this extra-sacramental participation. The faithful have the right to read the books of Sacred Scripture in any order. The most ecclesial reading of the Bible, however, is that which is geared toward the daily Eucharist. The individual believer is nourished by this word which is addressed to the entire church on a given day.

Involvement of employees is one of the forms of realization of the wider idea, which is known as social dialogue. European company is a supranational entity, which operates in many countries of the European Union. This paper analyzes the legal acts regulating the involvement of employees in the formulation and the registration process for a European company in Poland. Hereby are presented procedures of information, consultation and participation, taking into account the differences in EU and Polish legislation.

W artykule zaprezentowano miejsce wspólnoty w wychowaniu i jej znaczenie w rozwoju osoby. Została nakreślona problematyka wspólnoty, jej charakterystyka, określenie co nią jest, a co nią nie jest, określenie jej podstaw. W drugiej części artykułu dokonano refleksji nad tym, czym jest wychowanie i scharakteryzowano rozwój osoby w procesie wychowania. Wychowanie potrzebuje wspólnoty, ale także wspólnota potrzebuje wychowania. Wspólnota jest miejscem rozwoju wielu sfer aktywności osoby, ponieważ to właśnie w niej rozwija się człowiek w swoim człowieczeństwie. Obecnie kwestionuje się rolę wspólnoty w życiu osoby. Zmienia się wzorce rodziny, szkoły, społeczeństwa, gdzie dobro wspólne staje się dobrem pojedynczych osób i szuka się zamienników, które są płynne i nie stanowią oparcia dla rozwoju osoby. Artykuł ukazuje, że ważnym zadaniem pedagogiki jest obrona wspólnoty jako miejsca wychowania.
In the article there was presented the place of the community in the upbringing process and the meaning of the community in the development of a person. There was also depicted the issue of the community, its description, defining what is the community and what is not. In the article the basis of the community were also described. In the second part of the article there were considered the issue of upbringing and characterized the development of a person in the upbringing process. Upbringing needs the community, but also the community needs upbringing. The community is the place where many spheres of human activity is developed. In the community itself the human is developed in his humanity. At present the role of the community in a person's life is questioned. The role models and structures of a family, school, society in which the common good is an individual good are being changed. Some substitutes are being looked for and these substitutes are flexible and do not support the development of a person. The article shows that the important task of pedagogy is to protect the community as a place of upbringing.

The paper analyses the concept of “formation” in relation to those categories of the personalistic philosophy of formation which help us understand man in his individuality and relationship at the same time. Part one reconstructs the concept of “formation” in the aspect of participation, the essence of interpersonal relations, and at the same time stresses their individual character. Part two analyses the “interpersonal dialogue” as a relation derived from the relation of participation, in the aspect of the value of truth. The paper closes with a description of the phenomenon of formation in the subjective aspect, from the part of the individual man living and responding to the truth of dialogue. Our analysis allows us to reconstruct the definition of “formation.” According to the personalistic philosophy of formation and interpersonal relations, it takes on the following form: formation is self-formation in dialogue.

It is God who is the subject of creatio continua; in Christianity it is a triune God. Fundamentally divine nature, Divine Persons: God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit, who in the logic of the internal life of the Trinity is third and in relation to the world the most direct. The personal specificity of the Third Divine Person predestines it to activity, creativity, to stirring creative power and action in created beings. The Holy Spirit develops and unites, creates the interior of the beings, combines them and strengthens the link with the Creator. This ongoing creation is encoded in the act of creation and is in keeping with the workings of Providence, which also is a creation of the Trinity, and indirectly a creation of people: individuals and societies. Participation in the act of creation stands in proportion to the growth in holiness, which means it is proportional to becoming a person. Created beings personalize themselves through participation in creatio continua, and by participating in this act, they personalize themselves. All this is implemented though the activity of the intellect, will and emotions. It is Jesus Christ in his capacity of God and man who occupies the centre stage of the ongoing creation.

Wielość koncepcji stanowiących próby delimitacji niepełnosprawności stanowi dowód złożoności tego zjawiska. Już ogólna analiza ewolucji głównych nurtów i wypracowanych modeli uwydatnia zmiany postrzegania niepełnosprawności. Istotnym etapem w tym zakresie jest bogaty w przemiany wiek XX. Dzięki nim każda jednostka zyskała bowiem gwarancję podmiotowości przy jednoczesnym uznaniu możliwej indywidualizacji układu posiadanych cech. W konsekwencji rośnie zapotrzebowanie na tworzenie środowisk, produktów, technologii i usług dostępnych i użytecznych dla „wszystkich”. Powszechna i nieograniczona partycypacja społeczna staje się bowiem jedną z głównych wartości współczesnych społeczeństw. Dążenia te są źródłem idei projektowania uniwersalnego (Universal Design). Artykuł stanowi próbę prezentacji głównych założeń tej koncepcji, która choć powstała w połowie lat osiemdziesiątych XX w., obecnie zdaje się zyskiwać na popularności, stanowiąc w założeniach propozycję praktycznej implementacji dostępności i partycypacji społecznej.
The multiplicity of concepts which attempt to determine the delimitation of disability is evidence of the complexity of this phenomenon. The overall analysis of the evolution of the main streams and developed models highlights the changes in the perception of disability. An important step in this area was the twentieth century which was rich in transitions. Each person has gained the guarantee of subjectivity and individualization of arrangement features that it has. As a result, the demand for the creation of environments, products, technologies and services accessible and useful for “All” is growing. Universal and unlimited social participation is in fact one of the main values of modern societies. These aspirations are the source of the idea of Universal Design. The article attempts to present the main objectives of this concept, which now seems to be gaining in popularity as a proposal of practical implementation for accessibility and social participation.

Opis:
Any integral conception of education – including family education – must acknowledge the need for social education, which is due to the fact that the human being can develop only as the social being. However, the readiness to enter social personal relations can be taken for granted as automatic. It requires continuous effort and formation. Social education should take into account the good of the community and the good of the educated person. This is why the concept of participation is of particular use in educating for social life. Participation does not only mean engaging in social relations, looking for external links with the world. Participation draws upon relations that stem from the internal structure of the personality. This is why participation constitutes something more than a kind of human action through which people cooperate. In this sense, participation is a human attribute, thanks to which a person acts with others to self-realize him/herself. The role of the family in social education cannot be overestimated. Family life helps discover the depth of selfless love, teaches responsibility for others in the name of the common good. When the developmental environment of the family offers appropriate models, a young human can discover that he/she lives „through others”, and learns to live „for others.” In this way, the family becomes the „school of fuller humanity” and the „school of social virtues.” This is why the family should be looked at as the foundation of proper social relations and the most effective tool of humanization and personalization of the society.

Assurance of government administration activity and security and guaranty of public freedom are both political tendency that aim at attaining basic purpose, that is to assure common weal – existence and development of State and community. Decentralization gradually possessed equal rights to centralization as a principle for new government administration system. Limitting the central government trend to excessive centralization and overgrowth of bureaucracy is the essential function in decentralization. The problems of legal status is still up-to-date issue in self-government theory elucidating genesis and essence of dependence of self-government on national government and matter of self-government organization independence. Self-government votaries, with base of eight year experience, convinced in necessity of decentralization of national government administration demand self-government autonomy to be specified in lawful means, especially to define clearly two pillows basic for territorial autonomy constitution, that is subjective side and decentralization.

Artykuł ukazuje Maryję jako wzór uczestnictwa we Mszy św. Maryja jako „Niewiasta Eucharystii” nie tylko jest obecna w liturgii mszalnej w tekstach liturgicznych (najczęściej przez wspominanie), ale jest to bytność mistyczna – duchowa. Stąd Maryja swoim przykładem wychowuje uczestników liturgii mszalnej, jak stawać się ludźmi Eucharystii. Szczególne momenty formacyjne to: postawa Maryi wobec proklamowanego podczas Mszy św. słowa Bożego, modlitwy wiernych, przygotowania darów, uwielbiania Boga, współofiarowania mszalnego oraz podczas przyjmowania Komunii św. Maryja jest więc pomocą do świadomego, pełnego, owocnego uczestnictwa we Mszy św. w duchu nauczania Soboru Watykańskiego II.
This paper shows Mary as the pattern of participation in the Holy Mass. Mary as “the Woman of the Eucharist” not only is present in the Liturgy and in liturgical texts (most often by way of mentioning), but her presence is mystical and spiritual. Thus Mary’s example rears the participants of the Mass how to become the people of the Eucharist. Special formative moments are the following: Mary’s attitude towards the word of God proclaimed at the Mass, prayer of the faithful, preparations of the gifts, worship of God, fellow offering at the Mass, and during the Communion. Mary therefore helps a conscious, full, and fruitfull participation in the Holy Mass in the spirit of the Second Vatican Council.

This article contributes to the growing body of literature on synodality with a comprehensive introduction. Firstly, the author observes the link between the synodal approach promoted by Pope Francis and the Second Vatican Council. With the help of Myriam Wijlens’ term ‘reconfiguration,’ he then discusses the theological foundations of a synodal understanding of the Church. Synodality recontextualizes the bishop’s responsibility by situating it within the community of the faithful. In addition, as the Holy Spirit is the main actor in the synodal process, all the faithful, including bishops, have to listen to what He is saying, a task that requires discerning the spirits. In the third place, the author focuses on the reconfiguration of ecclesial practice. In a synodal way of proceeding, the traditional virtue of obedience is complemented by various other virtues, such as speaking out, listening with interest, and a deep openness to the Spirit’s newness. Artykuł wzbogaca rosnąca literaturę przedmiotu na temat synodalności poprzez kompleksowe do niej wprowadzenie. Po pierwsze, autor zwraca uwagę na związek między synodalnym podejściem promowanym przez papieża Franciszka i Sobór Watykański II. Za pomocą terminu „rekonfiguracja,” wypracowanego przez Myriam Wijlens, autor omawia teologiczne podstawy synodalnego rozumienia Kościoła. Synodalność bowiem rekontekstualizuje odpowiedzialność biskupa, umieszczając ją we wspólnocie wiernych. Jako że Duch Święty jest głównym aktorem procesu synodalnego, wszyscy wierni, w tym także biskupi, muszą słuchać tego, co mówi On. To zadanie wymaga umiejętności rozeznawania duchów. Po trzecie, autor skupia się na rekonfiguracji praktyki kościelnej. W postępowaniu synodalnym tradycyjna cnota posłuszeństwa jest uzupełniana przez różne inne umiejętności, takie jak możliwość wypowiadania się, słuchanie z zainteresowaniem i głębokie otwarcie na nowość Ducha. Na końcu artykułu autor identyfikuje praktyczne kwestie, które wymagają uwagi.

Opis:
The ongoing synodal process (16th Ordinary General Assembly: For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation and Mission), which began in October 2021 and will culminate in the same month of 2024, is encouraging a broad participation of the faithful in the synods, starting from the particular Churches. In terms of its concrete objective, it is a reflection on synodality and its exercise around synodal assemblies. This article explores synodality as a constitutive dimension of the Church and its meaning in practice. It delves into the organic cooperation between pastors and faithful as the basis for the participation of the baptised in synods. It looks at some specific aspects of synods: their service in favour of communion and mission, as an instrument of discernment of the “dynamic fidelity” which characterises the Church's journey; the appropriateness of a journey from the peripheries to the centre; the attitudes proper to those who participate in a synod; and the theological-pastoral dimensions of the synod. All this, taking into account the experience of the Church and the current reflection.

Na podstawie badań empirycznych autorka wskazuje aksjologiczne zakorzenienie, motywacje i wzorce działania badanych mieszkańców, upatrując w anomijnym ich charakterze słabości lokalnej polityki społecznej.
The aim of the article is to show the fundamental principles governing social policy and their impact on professed values, motivations and patterns of community activities of community members. On the basis of empirical research, the author indicates the axiological roots, motivations and patterns of action of the surveyed inhabitants, seeing in their anomyous character the weaknesses of the local social policy.
