    Opis:
    The ongoing social changes reduce the significance of maternity and paternity. Fortunately there exist couples for whom the joy of conception and the expectance period for the child's birth are not dominated by consumptive, egoistic and hedonistic tendencies. The aim of the study is the presentation of an individual model of preparation of couples to maternity and paternity. A number of delivery schools conduct courses on preparation to maternity and paternity. However, a certain number of prospective parents want the education before, around and past the delivery to be organized as individual meetings. Family midwives decide on the individual course of classes basing on the curriculum of the delivery school, according to the assumptions of the national psychoprophylaxis. The role of a family nurse in individual preparation of couples to maternity and paternity is not only teaching but also giving inspiration to the prospective parents to individual verification of the gained knowledge and seeking for individual, optimal solutions. The effects of individual work of the family midwife are visible during home delivery.

    Opis:
    In context of interreligious dialogue development, especially the meetings of the representatives of different religions led by the Pope in Assisi and criticized by various ecclesiastical circles, an essential question appears concerning theological ground for Christians’ participation in interreligious prayer. The author of the article indicates the origins of the above mentioned criticism, refutes charges of syncretism and relativism aimed at Assisi, and gives the reasons for the possibility of such a prayer within the so-called dialogue of religious experience. The possibility is grounded, above all, on such facts as common origin and destiny of mankind, unity of God’s economy of salvation, uniqueness of Jesus Christ’s saving mediation, universality of the action of the Holy Spirit in the world and in religions, and uniting role of the Church toward mankind. The practical aspect of the problem resolves mainly to the necessity for taking into consideration the principle lex orandi - lex credendi and sensibly avoiding all appearances of syncretism and proselytizing.

    Opis:
    This article, dedicated to illustrations created by Jan Lebenstein, points out the cultural condition of illustration itself and the works of the painter in particular. It shows analyzed problems in the perspective of culture of meeting. On the example of drawings to biblical story of The Babel Tower it indicates the artistic strategies of the painter which enable him to surpass certain cultural messages by the mean of a picture. Finally, in the synthetic way the article presents typology of Jan Lebenstein’s illustrations.

    Kościół katolicki, chcąc pomóc potrzebującym w sposób duchowy i materialny, od lat inicjuje wiele działań o charakterze charytatywnym. Katolickie parafie, stowarzyszenia oraz ruchy religijnej odnowy podejmują również cenne inicjatywy w celu zapewnienia godnego wypoczynku dzieciom i młodzieży w czasie wolnym od nauki, zwłaszcza tym, które pochodzą z rodzin ubogich i zaniedbanych. Celem niniejszego opracowania jest ukazanie doniosłej roli, jaką wbrew niektórym krytycznym opiniom pełni obecnie „turystyka parafialna”. Nabiera ona szczególnie wymiernego znaczenia wobec ubożenia polskiego społeczeństwa, gdy wielu rodziców nie stać nie tylko na rodzinne podróżowanie, ale nawet na wykupienie dla swoich dzieci wyjazdów o charakterze kolonijnym z zagwarantowaną opieką wychowawcy. Pod pojęciem „turystyka parafialna” Autorka rozumie wszelkie wycieczki oraz pobytowe imprezy religijno--turystyczne organizowane przez parafie lub przy ich pośrednictwie albo współudziale. Formy takiej turystyki wyróżnia etycznie ukierunkowany cel i sposób zagospodarowania czasu wolnego uczestników.
    For many years Catholic Church has initiated any number of activities for charity to help people in need in a spiritual and material way. Catholic parishes, associations and religious movements do their best to organize for children and the youth various forms of relaxation in their spare time. They specially take care of young people coming from poor families. The aim of this article is to emphasize the role of Catholic organizations in the process of parenting children and organizing their free time. One of the ways is travelling – called parish tourism. It consists of trips and other kinds of tourist events held by parishes or with their cooperation. These days parish tourism is a very essential issue because more and more families cannot afford to travel with the whole family. They also cannot send their children on camps run by well-qualified teachers. It is the effect of growing poverty in our society.
