This article lists and characterises all general prerequisites that must exist for a person to effectively adduce a defect (error) of a declaration of will. The article is divided into five parts. The first part discusses the definition of error and its qualification in various legal systems. The second part explains the relation between error and the substance of an act in law. The third and fourth parts discuss the prerequisite for significance of error and such prerequisites in the case of declarations of will directed at a particular person. The final, fifth part deals with a draft amendment to the Civil Code in the section related to error.

Opis:
The film produces an effect through the pictures, the light and color system, through the dialogs and music. But all of those different vehicles and ways of pronouncement are put into practice at the same moment, almost as if they did belong together. But it is a motion what makes the most important attribute of the film. To direct the film means to read properly the action that takes place in the time and space using an adequate expedients of sound and narration. The film, as an result of modern culture, performs the real world through the elements of technique. That is why, the author describes those elements of the film narration that have the connections with technology (e.g. pictures, sequences, location, the question of the close-up, editing of the film) also the stuff – elements (e.g. light, color, music, scenography and actor as well) and finally describes those vehicles of film stylistics that have the connections with means of expression normally used in literature.

The symbols that occur in the Light-Life Movement not only define the dynamics and rhythm of its life but also play an important role both the life of an individual and in that of society. Apart from that they also fulfill psychopedagogical functions. The symbols of the movement not only help to formulate the personality ideal, but they also encourage putting it into practice. Traces of presence of the symbols and of the meanings they bring can be found in man’s biological, psychological, sociological, cultural and spiritual, sociological, cultural and spiritual spheres. The „forgotten language” of symbols is vital for the processes of education and self-education. It seems that with respect to the latter one the role of the symbols increases proportionally to the decrease in the influence of other factors.

Recently, there have been two trends in the understanding of natural law in the Thomistic philosophy: a. general understanding - understanding of natural law in terms of main norms ofsocial life; b. making that law more particular - formulating concrete rights and duties, that is. It is in "Pacem in terris" that those two trends converge end are complementary to one another. In view of the dispute over the hierarchy of man’s social rights, it must be emphasized that John XXIII relates these rights to the right to live, which right he places on top of all others. It is characteristic that according to John XXIII in order to put, for instance, the right to just wages into practice, one has to take into consideration "the requirements of common good of all nations /.../ of different character and size". The Pope abandoned the subjective approach to the right to the freedom of conscience and religion, and emphasized its personal dimension. It is not truth that has a right but man has a right to the freedom of conscience. The author proves that John XXIII is not satisfied with the so-called legal protection of man’s rights, he even exposed the extralegal protection: through the structure of an enterprise, international cooperation /L-M/ for the development of all nations and through democratic system. The universalism of man’s rights is not accompanied by universal protection, hence there is a need to establish world authorities. The author claims that the term "familia humana" used in "Pacem in terris" was adopted from Pius XII, but not from the Universal Declaration of Man’s Rights. He also thinks that John XXIII did not accept the 18th century conception of man’s rights but presented a Christian conception of man’s rights.

The article discusses the causes, course and significance of the celebrations of “The Polish Emigrant's Week” that was organised on the whole territory of Poland in June 1930. The aim of this event, which had been prepared as a large scale one by committee in Warsaw that had numerous branches in the provinces, was: 1) raising the consciousness of the Polish society with respect to the proportions and significance of emigration from Polish lands to different countries. It also stressed the need of and profits from maintaining contacts and bonds between the several million mass of Poles living abroad and their homeland for both Poland and the emigrants; 2) raising funds for the construction of the Polish Emigrants’ Home in Warsaw that would concentrate state and community institutions working for the welfare of emigrants leaving Poland. The course of the “Emigrant's Week” is shown on the basis of archival records and press articles, and it presents the activity of State, community and Church officials in propaganda, cultural-educational and financial fields. Special attention is focused on the course of the “Emigrant's Week” in the area of East Małopolska (Little Poland), i. e. in the Lvov, Stanisławów and Tarnopol provinces where the phenomenon of emigration was especially intensive and complicated because of the ethnic composition of the population inhabiting that area. Poles, Ukrainians and Jews joined the work on the “Emigrant's Week”. The basic task here was to raise funds necessary to complete the construction of the Emigration Home in Lvov for emigrants belonging to all the three nations. The idea of building the Emigration Home had its roots in the necessity to secure protection against exploitation by illegal emigration agents to the masses of emigrating people. It was also supposed to provide help in gaining information about the immigration opportunities in different countries, about the social, economic and legal conditions prevailing in them, job markets for emigrants, formal requirements connected with obtaining passports, booking ship or railway tickets as well as securing decent conditions of transport to the border (night’s lodging, food) and during the travel to one’s destination. The Home was opened and blessed in 16 June 1930. On the territory of East Małopolska the action was repeated, albeit on a smaller scale, as “Emigrant's Day”, in the autumn of 1931.

Norwid's Vade-mecum is aphoristic to an extent that determines the semantics and structure of the whole poetic cycle. It also shows that the poet was influenced in many ways by the Christian religion and culture and by the literature and culture of the classical antiquity. In many respects, the aphoristic character of the Vade-mecum stands in opposition to the theory and practice of Romantic poetic language. The sententia, or maxim, is a very important element in the aesthetics of Norwid's poetry. In the Vade-mecum it plays a semantic, structural and genological role. In poetry at large, the maxim serves as a means of a generalising mode of expression, laconic and at the same time both poetic and philosophical. As a genre the maxim is a context-dependent form. It contributes to a poem's genological richness and polymorphous quality. Norwid's choice of it as a way of expression shows his preference for addressee-oriented genres. Structurally, the maxim is firmly embedded in the matrix poetic text, while syntactically it functions as an element of a multi-layered structure. Only a few of Norwid's maxims represent independent, simple syntactic units. The essence of Norwid's maxims in the Vade-mecum is that they enable him to make his points extremely laconically, in a way that is brief and yet precise; his formulations read like timeless laws and truths. The internal structure of his sententiae, which can be extremely varied, is governed by the rule of maximum content with minimal verbal weight. They are unusually precise and laconic formulations and they often exploit the ambiguity of words. What instigates the poet's use of a maxim is a specific situation, a small detail, an individual gesture. The maxim can generalise the particular: it can endow the detail with universal qualities. When he tries to explain a thing, to apprehend its traits, Norwid makes use of pseudo-definitions, which are often based on contrast, antithesis or paradox. A poem may begin with a sententia, which functions as its thesis. Such a start makes for the structural cohesion of the text. In most cases, however, the maxim is the compositional coda of the poem. These cases show Norwid as the master of the coda. Such distribution of the maxims stresses Norwid's strategy of using the initial and concluding parts of a poem as specially marked places; maxims frequently form a compositional brace for the text as a whole.

The article describes the significance, gist and main features of contract of sale in Poland. Additionally, the concept of consumer sale is highlighted as seen in the context of the Polish legal order. Thus, the Polish contract of sale is essentially an obligation of a buyer to pay the price for merchandise and accept the delivery of it, and the obligation of the vendor to deliver the merchandise and transfer the property thereof. The object of the transaction may be either real estate or chattels and transferable rights. However, the price must be always expressed in an amount of money which may be paid in cash or in other forms. Moreover, in Poland, the contract of sale means a mutual, equivalent obligation of each party, which enters into force by virtue of being solely concluded, i.e. without the necessity to hand acquired goods over to the buyer. Similarly, as a rule, in Poland there is no need to enter into another contract in order to convey the property in goods to the buyer. The contract of sale automatically has this effect. In Poland, consumer had been merely a term of legal doctrine for a long time, not appearing in any statute or regulation. The act of the 27 July 2002 pertaining to specific conditions of consumer sale served as a landmark in this respect. Namely, together with that act the phrase: consumer sale became a term which belongs to the Polish legal terminology.

Current approaches to subjectivity do not stress the notion of attributes of international subjectivity. The definitions of subjectivity embrace this category in general terms (concentrating on the implication of rights and obligations directly from international law), granting such status mainly to individual entities. The resultant increase in the number and quality of potential international entities would make international turnover virtually impossible. This would in turn imply granting international subjectivity to concerns and carriers of domestic law, thus obscuring the scope and subjectivity of particular structures. Hence, clear research assumptions are needed as well as efforts to determine what subjectivity is. These are tentatively formulated in this article with the subjective attributes (i.e. the most essential and constituting qualities) emphasised. The range of subject categories is wide (states and their in statu nascendi forms, international organisations, recognised entities other than states and organisations, international bodies and conferences). An analysis of the normative aspect and implementation of international subjectivity makes it possible to exclude entities and persons from having such status.

The paper has a theoretical-empirical character. In its theoretical part, the concept of a juvenile delinquent has been explained with respect to the following criteria: demoralisation, commitment of criminal acts, the use of educational and corrective means. Furthermore, dimensions of the sense of life as psychological variables have been pinpointed. They have a considerable impact on the formation of human behaviour. In the empirical part some results of research on the sense of life in the juvenile delinquents have been shown. The research was conducted in two groups: among 30 juvenile delinquents (group I) who were on probation (due to their criminal records), and among 30 boys with positive social adjustment (group II). The measurement of the sense of life was conducted by means of J.C. Crumbaugh's and L.T. Maholick's Purpose-in-Life Test (PIL). The results allow us to state that juvenile delinquents find it difficult to take responsibility for their own lives. This is mainly due to the external source of control. Additionally, juvenile delinquents in conflict with criminal law have problems to determine their goals in life, make decisions, and affirm their life. Moreover, they tend to make negative self-assessment and adopt a negative attitude towards their life. This often coincides with suicidal thoughts. The above regularities deal with the sense of life in adolescents violating the norms of criminal law. They should be the grounds for rehabilitation addressed at this group. The application of psychological strategies in the rehabilitation of juvenile delinquents should serve, above all, the enhancement of the sense of self-control and responsibility for their own behaviour, the establishment of goals in life, and should help them make adequate self-assessment.

Opis:
The Dominican order was established by St. Dominic in 1216 for the defence of faith through teaching. It played an enormous role not only directly in the life of the Universal Church herself, but also in the general spiritual and intellectual development. The basic purpose of apostleship is the glory of God and the salvation of people. It is interesting to look at the history of the Dominica charisma in Poland, especially St. Dominic's spiritual daughter, the Venerable Mother Kolumba Białecka. This paper therefore deals with the history of Dominican sisters in Poland, shows Kolumba Białecka against this backdrop, and depicts her order-making mission. Then it focuses on the significance of her religious name „Kolumba,” and on Białecka's family home. Mother Kolumba Białecka endowed the Church with a kind of religious life that is fulfilled in the service to our neighbours through our perfection. This is our home initiative that stems from Polish spirituality and Polish needs, and at the same time it refers to the purest models of Dominican spirituality. The religious congregation founded by the Venerable Mother Kolumba Białecka has been effective not only in Poland, but it has been developing in various countries on four continents.

Współczesne przemiany dotykają także obszaru antropologii i religijności. Często wynika to z faktu, że społeczeństwo nie chce zaakceptować istnienia Boga oraz zasad, które On ustanowił. Jednak człowiek potrzebuje stabilizacji i punktu orientacyjnego, szczególnie w obszarze religijnym. Taką przestrzenią, choć okazjonalnie oprotestowaną przez zwolenników laickiego stylu życia, pozostaje wciąż obszar mariologii i związana z nią pedagogizacja maryjna. Jest to swoisty fenomen, jak prosty wzór życia zwyczajnej kobiety, nakierowany na służbę Bogu oraz bliźnim, opiera się nieustannie próbie czasu i atakom ideowych przeciwników. Maryjny wzór osobowy pokazuje, jak ocalić niezmienną zależność, jaka istnieje pomiędzy stworzeniem a Stwórcą, z zachowaniem pełnej wolności człowieka. Wdrożenie do nauczania katechetycznego zasady obserwowania Maryi, aby znaleźć w Niej inspirację w realizacji chrześcijańskiego powołania, jest dla wielu katechetyków szansą przeciwstawienia się współczesnym ideologiom, które przyjmują niepełny obraz człowieka i przez to głoszą fałszywe antropologie. W celu ratowania polskiej tożsamości religijnej preferowana jest w katechezie tzw. polska droga maryjna. W jej realizacji chodzi o przygotowanie katechizowanych do rozumienia tytułów maryjnych, które odsłaniają maryjny fenomen pięknego życia. Katecheza maryjna przez pośrednictwo między tym, co w wierze instytucjonalne a tym, co spontaniczne, stanowi punkt odniesienia dla zwyczajnego życia. Strategia pedagogizacji maryjnej zakłada pełną prawdę o człowieku, ponieważ akcentuje nie tylko jego potrzeby cielesne i materialne, ale także format duchowy, osobowy, transcendentny oraz religijny, eksponuje również zasadę, że sprawa grzechu jest integralną częścią prawdy o człowieku. Religijna pedagogizacja musi być ściśle związana ze słuchaniem współczesnego katechizowanego oraz powinna korzystać z nowych języków i metod komunikacji, co jest współcześnie traktowane jako zwycięska strategia. W nauczaniu katechetycznym Maryja musi być przedstawiona jako ta, która wskazuje na Jezusa, zachęca do szukania Go oraz do zjednoczenia się z Nim. Tak powinny być formułowane perspektywy katechezy maryjnej w warunkach polskich.
All Polish catechisms and textbooks for teaching religion after the Council's renewal contain numerous Marian references. We are also a nation in which devotion to Mary is an obvious phenomenon with a significant degree of intensity. There is also a justified theory that Poles are maintaining a high level of religion in European conditions thanks to Marian pedagogy. This, however, obliges us to make a deeper reflection. The current position of the Church's Teaching Office is the verification point for the Polish model of Marian catechesis. This publication is about answering the question whether education through catechesis on being a disciple of Christ and a genuinely committed member of the Church can make use of the principle functioning in catechesis: look at Mary, the Mother of Jesus, because in her you will find help in living your Christian vocation. In a time when false anthropologies are dominating, like denying the existence of God and the need for religion, and fundamental rules of sociallife and moral principles are being questioned, reference to a stable point in the Christian life seems to be really necessary. The pattern of combining a dignified life with fidelity to the Gospel’s principles according to the Marian Way can still be a strong foundation of catechetical communication.

The paper shows a sociological analysis of the factors that condition the strengthening of group identity. The analyses refer in particular to small primary groups whose identity and permanence may be strengthened by taking advantage of its own inner attributes, such as: dynamism in the realization of values and group tasks (stimulated by an appropriate climate in the group), the position of the leader and his authority (determined, above all, by his positive efforts), and moral balance defined by definite positive variables. The paper clearly distances itself from both the detailed issues of the problem of identity and the analyses of the broader contexts conditioning the function of primary groups and their permanence, such that support or threat their existence. The main purpose of the selected analyses is a possibility to apply them in pedagogy by emphasizing the conditions how those who are interested in the strengthening of identity among subjects may accomplish full cooperation and integration - the group as a whole and its members.

Opis:
Voluntary service is a social phenomenon that has been developing rapidly in the recent years. Young people are an especially important age group here. It is among them that the movement finds most followers. This stage in a man's development is particularly interesting for pedagogues, especially because of the ever growing significance of social (peer) groups for a young man. The article looks for coinciding points in a more or less organized and structuralized social movement on the one hand, and pedagogical research on the other. The studies start from two sources – an analysis of selected pedagogical theories showing a man's personal development in a social context, and an analysis of pedagogical practice and pedagogical empirical research into voluntary service. This means that these are two, in a sense independent, ways, the former of which may be described as a deductive one, and the latter – as an inductive one.
Wolontariat jest zjawiskiem społecznym, które w ostatnich latach bardzo intensywnie się rozwija. Szczególnie ważną grupą wiekową w tym względzie są ludzie młodzi. To wśród nich ten ruch znajduje najwięcej zwolenników. Ten czas rozwoju człowieka cieszy się szczególnym zainteresowaniem pedagogów, zwłaszcza ze względu na coraz bardziej rosnące znaczenie grup społecznych (rówieśniczych) dla młodego człowieka. Artykuł stanowi poszukiwanie punktów zbieżnych pomiędzy bardziej lub mniej zorganizowanym i ustrukturalizowanym ruchem społecznym z jednej strony a badaniami pedagogicznymi z drugiej. Prowadzone poszukiwania wychodzą z dwóch źródeł – analizy wybranych teorii pedagogicznych, pokazujących rozwój osobowy człowieka w kontekście społecznym, oraz analizy praktyki pedagogicznej i pedagogicznych badań empirycznych w zakresie wolontariatu. Są to zatem dwie, w pewnym sensie, niezależne drogi, z których pierwszą można określić jako dedukcyjną, a drugą jako indukcyjną.
