    Opis:
    The present study consist of the author's report on his pastoral and social work in different countries and Polish communities in the course of 43 years. He worked in the following countries: Germany (British dominion in the years 1945-51), the USA (1951-57) and Canada (1957-1987). The author characterizes the environment in which he worked, their spiritual needs, social life and threats connected with migration. The main territory of his work was the Polish parish in Windsor in Canada (1961-87). The author points to the religious-social role both of the pastor, and the parish. An interesting example of that role and of some possibilities in that respect is the fact that they managed in the course of dozen milion dolars to build two housing estates for Polish parishioners (1979-85) and a big Polish centre − Polonia Centre (1984), which have many sided possibilities. The Polish parish in Windsor created a few numbering 10-20 thousand dollars foundations at the local university for the youth, a charitable foundation and two scholar ship foundations for KUL. The author emphasizes the permanent character of social centres and the important social role played by the Polish Ursulin Sisters in that parish.

    Opis:
    The use of the Wechsler-Bellevue Scale in diagnosing organic brain damage raised many controversies. The interdependence between the results of the verbal and performance scales has proved to be more complex than Wechsler had formulated it. Lack of unambiguous results showing the diagnostic value of the organicity indices that he had suggested, as well as a continuous interest in the problem were the reasons for presenting an analysis of there cases on the basis of which not so much the value of differences between the scales was shown as the usefulness of analysis of the way the test tasks are performed when such analisis is confronted with the life history of the subjects. The obtained results allow one to extend and change the interpretation of the test results beyond the sollutions suggested by Wechsler.

    Zbrojna napaść Rosji na Ukrainę zapoczątkowała dyskusję o możliwości postawienia w stan oskarżenia osób odpowiedzialnych za popełnienie zbrodni międzynarodowych w tym konflikcie. Celem artykułu jest analiza przepisów Rzymskiego Statutu MTK pod kątem ewentualnego ich oskarżenia. W rozważaniach udzielono odpowiedzi na pytanie, jakie czyny mogłyby zostać przypisane żołnierzom rosyjskim biorącym udział w inwazji na Ukrainę. Przedstawiono także możliwość pociągnięcia do odpowiedzialności karnej prezydenta Federacji Rosyjskiej i zwrócono uwagę, że pełnienie funkcji głowy państwa nie wyłącza jego indywidualnej odpowiedzialności. Zauważono też, że działania wojsk rosyjskich w Ukrainie są bardzo zbliżone do metod, jakimi posługiwali się serbscy żołnierze w czasie wojny w Bośni i Hercegowinie.
    Russia’s armed attack on Ukraine has sparked a discussion on the possibility of prosecuting on the possibility of prosecuting those responsible for international crimes committed in this war. The subject of the article is an analysis of the provisions of the Rome Statute of the ICC in terms of their possible prosecution. The presented considerations answer the question what actions could be attributed to the Russian soldiers taking part in the invasion of Ukraine. The possibility of prosecuting the president of the Russian Federation was also presented and it was pointed out that performing the function of the head of state does not exclude his individual liability. By the way, it was noticed that the actions of the Russian troops in Ukraine are very similar to the methods used by Serbian soldiers during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

    Celem artykułu jest ukazanie typologii postaci z zaburzeniami osobowościowymi w powieściach Johna Steibecka Myszy i ludzie, Pastwiska Niebieskie, Tortilla Flat i Cannery Row. Elementem kluczowym w analizie literackiej bohaterów jest zastosowanie teorii psychologicznych oraz socjologicznych. W przypadku omawianych postaci nieudolność procesu adaptacji jest częściej wynikiem zaburzeń osobowościowych jednostek niż negatywnego wpływu społeczeństwa. Unikanie rzeczywistości jest pierwszym etapem nieprzystosowania – osoby z wadliwym rozwojem osobowym (socjopatia, narcyzm, natręctwa myślowe, osobowości pasywno-‑agresywne) zniekształcają rzeczywistość tak, aby pasowała ona do ich potrzeb. Bohaterowie z osobowościami neurotycznymi lub paranoidalnymi nie utrzymują dostatecznego kontaktu z rzeczywistością, a ich wypaczone postrzeganie świata jest spowodowane lękiem i niechęcią do zmiany. Gdy unikanie prawdy jest niewystarczające, postaci muszą zbudować swój iluzoryczny świat, w którym czują się bezpiecznie. Bohaterowie ze skłonnościami psychopatycznymi uciekają do świata fantazji, popychani ekstremalnymi nastrojami. Jednakże rzeczą jednoczącą wszystkich analizowanych bohaterów jest zastosowanie przez nich mechanizmów obronnych, takich jak racjonalizacja, projekcja czy represja, pozwalających na manipulacje otoczeniem w celu uzyskania konkretnych korzyści.

    Evangelization is a task and mission commissioned by Christ to the Church as an institution, but it is also the task of every member of the community of believers. Christ calls us to go with the good news wherever there is a person. Today’s human being lives in two worlds – the real one, but also in the digital one. Therefore, it is important that the process of evangelization takes place not only in a traditional way in the real world, but also that the Gospel is present in the digital world. The subject of this article is the issue of on-line evangelization, including the use of social media. The aim is to show that the presence of the Gospel in the digital world is necessary, but it carries many opportunities and threats.
    Ewangelizacja to zadanie i misja, które zostały zlecone przez Chrystusa Kościołowi jako instytucji, ale jest to także zadanie każdego członka wspólnoty wierzących. Chrystus wzywa, aby iść z dobrą nowiną wszędzie tam, gdzie jest człowiek. Współczesny człowiek żyje dziś w dwóch światach – tym realnym, ale również w tym cyfrowym. Dlatego ważne jest, aby proces ewangelizacji dokonywał się nie tylko w sposób tradycyjny w świecie realnym, ale również, aby ewangelia była obecna w świecie cyfrowym. Przedmiotem niniejszego artykułu jest ewangelizacja w Internecie, w tym przy użyciu mediów społecznościowych. Celem jest ukazanie, iż obecność Dobrej Nowiny w świecie cyfrowym jest konieczna, ale niesie to ze sobą wiele szans, jak i zagrożeń.

    Powszechnie zwraca się uwagę na negatywne skutki pandemii. Jednak jak każde zjawisko społeczne, pandemia COVID-19 oprócz skutków negatywnych, przyniosła także pewne skutki pozytywne. Jednak te ostatnie mają mniejszą skalę, ale i paradoksalnie ogromną wartość dla jednostki i rodziny. W swoim artykule skupię się na pozytywnej stronie, ukazując pandemię w zupełnie innym świetle, która dla wielu ludzi oprócz niszczącej siły spustoszenia, stała się szansą na zmianę pozytywną. Czy pandemia może być szansą? Czy zło, które przyszło wraz z wirusem, dziesiątkujące ludzkość, przynoszące śmierć i cierpienie milionów ludzi, rodzące strach – czy to zło mogło zrodzić jakieś dobro? Czy ten totalny i globalny kryzys w wymiarze społecznym, gospodarczym, zawodowym, rodzinnym i osobistym mógł przełożyć się na umocnienie, rekonstrukcję, odbudowę i rozwój tożsamości? Oto pytania, na które postaram się odpowiedzieć.
    The negative effects of the pandemic are widely noted. However, like any social phenomenon, the pandemic, in addition to negative effects, also brought positive effects. However, the latter have a smaller scale, but paradoxically they are of great value for the individual and the family. In my article, I will focus on the positive side, showing the pandemic in a completely different light, which for many people, apart from the destructive power of devastation, has become a chance for change – a positive one. Can a pandemic be an opportunity? Could the evil that came with the virus, decimating humanity, bringing death and suffering to millions of people, causing fear could this evil have produced any good? Could this total and global crisis in the social, economic, professional, family and personal dimensions translate into the strengthening, reconstruction, reconstruction and development of identity? These are the questions I will try to answer.

    Opis:
    The article undertakes the problem of pedagogical mildness. It is an attempt to define the concept in the spirit of personalist education and to show the ways of practically carrying it into effect; it also compares it with theses of anti-pedagogy (in the context of the concept of educational permissiveness). The attitude of educational mildness understood in this way is closely connected with educational love as the leading value guiding interpersonal relations. Harmonized relations between the educator and the pupil, educational atmosphere of friendship and warmth, aiming at the good and development of the pupil, the element of understanding, forgiveness, and also of rational consideration of the educational situation on the side of the educator are characteristic features of mildness in education. They find their practical expression in the work of the reliable educator. The problems of the place that spontaneity and guiding, commonness and individuality as well as self-education should take in the conception of pedagogical mildness have been also undertaken. According to the conception, educational effect appears as „mild directing”, and spontaneity of the educational situations is „relative spontaneity” determined by the borderlines of the principles and values that are binding. The community and individual dimension of education condition each other, and self-education is an essential element in the process of value interiorization and of personal formation of a man. The whole of the tackled issue is an attempt to answer the questions about the proper relation between the pedagogue and the pupil and about understanding the role and way of expressing mildness in education, which questions are asked in many educational circles today.

    The article addresses the issues of individual rights in the procedure for expulsion of a monk with a religious institute under can. 695 § 1 of the 1983 CIC. The cause of expulsion taken offense mentioned in can. 1395 § 2 CIC 1983, the author is seeking expressions of canon law – the scope of the established theme – the principles derived from the criminal law – the principle of impartiality. Treat the whole procedery expulsion taking into account the remedies. It takes into account the differences arising from the situation when it comes to the intersection of the religious-cleric.
