    Opis:
    Niniejsze opracowanie dotyczy zagadnienia jakości życia. W pracy zaprezentowano aspekty definicyjno-badawcze odróżniające poziom życia od jakości życia. Zasadniczym celem artykułu było ustalenie obiektywnej jakości życia w poszczególnych powiatach województwa lubelskiego. Podjęte badania obejmowały analizę opisową wybranych miar obiektywnej jakości życia oraz obliczenie na podstawie przyjętych wskaźników cząstkowych (zgrupowanych w cztery obszary tematyczne) syntetycznych mierników. Zastosowana metoda pozwoliła na wyznaczenie grup powiatów o zbliżonym poziomie jakości życia. Przeprowadzone dla 2021 roku badania pokazały, że obiektywna jakość życia mieszkańców województwa lubelskiego jest zróżnicowana zarówno w ujęciu przestrzennym, jak i w odniesieniu do określonych aspektów jakości życia. Widoczna jest zdecydowana przewaga miast na prawach powiatu nad powiatami ziemskimi.
    This study deals with the issue of quality of life. The paper presents the definitional and research aspects that differentiate the standard of living from the quality of life. The main objective of the paper was to determine the objective quality of life in individual districts of lubelskie voivodship. The research undertaken included a descriptive analysis of selected measures of objective quality of life and the calculation of synthetic measures on the basis of the adopted partial indicators (grouped into four thematic areas). The method used made it possible to delineate groups of counties with similar levels of quality of life. The research carried out for 2021 showed that the objective quality of life of the inhabitants of Lubelskie Voivodeship varies both spatially and in relation to specific aspects of quality of life. There is a clear advantage of cities with county rights over rural districts.

    Innowacyjność przedsiębiorstwa jest kluczowa dla jego przetrwania i konstruktywnego rozwoju. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja najważniejszych problemów związanych z tym pomiarem, jak również próba przedstawienia i oceny efektów działalności innowacyjnej przedsiębiorstw z Polski oraz z województwa lubelskiego w latach 2016–2018 na podstawie wskaźników, takich jak: udział przedsiębiorstw innowacyjnych w zakresie innowacji produktowych i procesów biznesowych w ogólnej liczbie przedsiębiorstw oraz udział przychodów netto ze sprzedaży produktów innowacyjnych, innowacyjnych tylko dla rynku i tylko dla przedsiębiorstwa w przychodach netto ze sprzedaży, określający stopień odnowienia produkcji.
    Business innovation is crucial for its survival and constructive development. Therefore, it is very important to measure it and measure the results of this activity as well as use appropriate methods for this purpose. The aim of this article is to present the main problems related to this measurement as well as an attempt to show and evaluate the results of innovative activities of companies from Poland and the Lubelskie Voivodeship in 2015–2018 based on indicators such as: the share of funds in the field of product innovation and training to support enterprises as well as the share of net sales from the sale of products, which are only innovative for the market and only for the company in net sales revenue, which indicates the degree of renewal of production.

    Celem artykułu jest analiza poziomu rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego gmin województwa lubelskiego w latach 1995–2021. Przedmiotem badań uczyniono 213 gmin województwa. Źródłem danych do przeprowadzonej analizy był Bank Danych Lokalnych Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego. Do badania użyto analizy taksonomicznej, metody bez wzorca. Przeanalizowano 19 zmiennych w badanym okresie. Podzielono je na zmienne dotyczące rozwoju: ekonomicznego (7 zmiennych), społecznego (8 zmiennych) i technicznego (4 zmienne). W wyniku przeprowadzonej analizy stwierdzono wzrost poziomu rozwoju w badanym okresie. Zaobserwowano, że zróżnicowanie poziomu rozwoju gmin w układzie przestrzennym zmniejsza się. Stwierdzono również, że z uwagi na przyjęte cechy akcesja Polski do Unii Europejskiej miała wpływ na spadek indeksów dynamiki przemian w badanych gminach.
    The aim of the article is to analyze the level of socio-economic development of the communes of the Lubelskie Voivodeship in the years 1995–2021. The subject of the study involved 213 communes of the Lubelskie Voivodeship. The source of data for the conducted analysis was the Local Data Bank of the Central Statistical Office. Taxonomic analysis, method without pattern was used for the research. 19 different variables were examined in the analyzed period. They were divided into variables concerning development: economic (7 variables), social (8 variables) and technical (4 variables). It has been proven in the article that the level of development of the Lubelskie Voivodeship communes in the analyzed period of 1995–2021 increased. Decrease in this development could only be observed in the case of 12 communes. The development processes of communes lead to equalization of their development levels due to the adopted features in the spatial arrangement at a higher level. Poland’s accession to the European Union changed tendencies in terms of the size of dynamicsof communes due to the adopted features. After joining the European Union, the average annual growth rate decreased. The COVID-19 pandemic has not changed the trends in the size of the dynamics of cities and towns due to the adopted features. Communes with a similar index of dynamics of the level of development are located in the same territorial systems due to the adopted features. Communes displaying a similar level of development, due to the adopted features, are located in the same territorial systems. The size of the cities and towns shows a relationship with the index of the dynamics of the level of development due to the adopted features. There is a negative correlation between the dynamics index in 1995–2003, 2019–2021 and 1995–2021 and the size of the commune, which means that the smaller the commune, the higher the change dynamics index. The size of cities and towns shows a relationship with the level of urban development due to the adopted features. The analysis of the size of the commune measured by the number of population and the level of socio-economic development in the presented years: 1995, 2003, 2019 and 2021 are significantly correlated showing positive values according to statistics.
