Opis:: Nowadays, in order to ensure high quality of municipal services, and thus a high quality of life for the local community, the authorities of both the basic local government unit and managers of municipal enterprises must strive to maintain high standards of sustainable development. The level of quality of life and services provided can be determined by various dimensions, such as: ecological environment, housing conditions, ecological production in the field of consumer goods, balance between built-up areas and green areas, care for agricultural areas, limiting the deepening social stratification, rational economy water or rational waste management. Therefore, the paper presents a theoretical analysis of the main directions of sustainable development in the activities of municipal enterprises.

Opis:: Przyjęto założenie, iż gospodarstwo rolne jest zorganizowanym zbiorem elementów z określonymi własnościami i relacjami, stanowiącym jednocześnie jedną celowościową całość (tzw. gospodarstwo organiczne). Wskazano na występujące wewnątrz gospodarstw powiązania i związki. Z analizowano przez pryzmat układu sił integrujących i różnicujących aktualne systemy gospodarowania. Na podstawie rozważań sformułowano zalecenia dotyczące usprawnienia organizacji zarządzania w sensie atrybutowym. Praca jest finansowana ze środków na naukę jako projekt badawczy na lata 2006-2008.
Paper presents a system approach, as one of the instruments enabling more extensive introduction of sustainable development rules into agricultural enterprises. It was assumed that agricultural farm presents an organized set of elements with determined properties and relations, functioning simultaneously as one purposeful whole (organic farm). Connections and relations occurring inside a farm were also pointed out. Furthermore, in aspect of forces integrating and differentiating, the actual farming systems were analysed. On the basis of such considerations, the recommendations were formulated concerning farm management and improving of the organization in attributive sense. The project is subventioned from the budget finances for the science, as a research project for 2006-2008.
