Opis:
The real operation and maintenance processes of technical objects are characterised by so called secondary action, it means that the values of the features describing the process states and the analysed operation and maintenance states of technical objects as well as the after-effect ofthose states depend not only on their present state, but very often on the state or sequence of the previous states, too. In spite of the fact that the mathematical models of the real processes are intrinsically a significant simplification of the actual state, it however seems that omission of a secondary action in a certain class of operation and maintenance processes is an excessive simplification and the results obtained from investigations of models of that type may be affected by a significant error. The paper presents a model of operation and maintenance process of means of transport characterised by a secondary action as well as an example of computer simulation of performance of a stochastic process describing the features of the operation and maintenance process under analysis. The elaborated model of operation and maintenance process of technical objects takes into account the specificity of the systems of the urban bus transport. The computer simulation of the maintenance process enables, among other things, to estimate the values of the chosen indicators characterising the investigated process. On the basis of the analysis of the statistical data, obtained from the operation and maintenance investigations, the values of the essential input parameters of the model were estimated. The considerations presented in the paper include an assumption that it is possible to distinguish n disjoint subsets ofhomogenous objects, from the point of view of the investigation purpose, in the set of the technical objects being operated and maintained in the system under analysis. The investigation object is a system of operation and maintenance of means of transport.

Opis:
An appropriate solving the transport organization in agriculture requires, among others, to work out the method for transportation means work organization. Issues associated with transportation means work organization is impossible to be optimally solved by a controller in the case of developed transport network, instead they require computational techniques for fast information processing. One of such methods is presented in the paper as a system for sugar--beet transport to sugar works. In sugar industry, large amounts of raw material are transported between sugar-beet producers or storage centers and processing works. Presented program makes possible to select transportation means for carrying the sugar-beet, and then working out the schedule of routes realized by vehicles. The paper presents the management system of sugar-beet transporting to the sugar works that optimizes the transportation means work. Minimization of courses length, because it directly affects the reduction of transportation costs by means of decrease of fuel and other exploitation parts used, shortening the driver's work-time, and decrease of fees for vehicle rental. The system was verified using real data for a given day, which confirmed the correctness of the software functioning. Working out and launching the software required to write databases containing necessary information on: sites the material was received from, amount of transported loads, transportation means, loading/reloading machines and devices along with their technical and exploitation parameters, as well as the project required to draw digital map with all analyzed purchase centers, sugar works, and all the road network. Minimization of routes was accepted as a purpose function, because it directly affects the reduction of transport costs through reducing the fuel and other exploitation means used, shortening the driver's work time or decreasing the fees for vehicle rental. The system was verified using real data for a particular date, which confirmed the correctness of the software functioning. Activity aiming at reducing production costs through elimination of unnecessary expenditures resulting from bad work organization would contribute to the improvement of competitiveness of Polish agriculture and enhancing its opportunities on EU markets. Proposed system for sugar-beet transport management at Sugar Works is an example of the system meeting such expectations.

This work presents a practical and effective method to evaluate the reliability status of an object basing on the observation ofchanges in its functioning (automatics) and its technical condition (diagnostics). It has been observed that changes of the functioning condition potential could serve to determine the symptoms of transient (momentary) damages and the changes in the potential of the technical condition to determine the symptoms of parametric damages (non-total). Such an information, as it turns out, is sufficient to calculate reliability characteristics before dangerous catastrophic damages occur and to calculate reliability characteristics for every single object without having to deal with a numerous set of objects. Opis:
One of the effects of the exponential growth universally available computing power is decrease of the hardware cost especially multimedia components. This trend combined with integration of image acquisition hardware for multimedia applications for personal computers, enable to create new kind of vision systems - stereovision. The system presented on this paper using two synchronized cameras with USB type interface. In order to obtain an exact copy of the object in 3D type space is necessary to gather the Information about projected points of the space onto the more than one image. The paper is focus on double camera stereovision system and calibration problem with image rectification. The target was achieved with use open source Computer Vision libraries and toolboxes. Practical implementation of presented basic stereovision system (based on two cameras) is addressed for transportation devices which are operating in fixed 3D type space and include for example: device movement trajectory controlling, possible events detecting and worh space of materia handling devices modeling. Paper contains the following key chapters: cameras calibration problem short discussion, single camera calibration approach, and stereovision system architecture and calibration approach.

Opis:
Requirements put before means of transport are directed towards increasing exploitation's safety and dependability. It requires of evolution into preventive maintenance taking into consideration current technical state of a device. Preventive approach to the exploitation process of machines and devices requires specific methods and tools enable to study reasons and results of events occurred during exploitation as well as taking proper decision according to the scheduled strategy and environmental conditions. Keeping acceptable technical state of machines and devices is possible by applying continuous and periodic monitoring changes of exploitation parameters. Analysis of chosen exploitation parameters during monitoring technical object connected with knowledge about reason-result relationship allows taking effective actions. The programming environment, built for the aim of supervising the exploitation process of devices used in works transport is presented in the paper. Realized application, using InTouch software package, enables to aid in useroperator decision process and monitoring and visualization of crane's transportation process and exploitation of the device.
Wymagania stawiane eksploatowanym środkom transportu są ukierunkowane na zwiększenie bezpieczeństwa i niezawodności eksploatacyjnej oraz obniżenie kosztów eksploatacji. Urządzenia ewoluują w kierunku obsługiwania typu prewencyjnego z uwzględnieniem ich stanu technicznego. Prewencyjne podejście do procesu eksploatacji maszyn i urządzeń wymaga określonych metod i narzędzi umożliwiających badanie przyczyn i skutków zdarzeń zachodzących podczas eksploatacji systemu oraz podejmowanie właściwych decyzji, z uwzględnieniem przyjętych strategii i warunków otoczenia. Utrzymanie akceptowalnego stanu technicznego maszyn i urządzeń wymaga ciągłego i okresowego monitorowania zmian ich parametrów eksploatacyjnych. Analiza trendów zmian wybranych monitorowanych parametrów eksploatacyjnych obiektu technicznego w powiązaniu ze znajomością relacji przyczynowo-skutkowych w systemie, pozwala na podejmowanie skutecznych działań. W artykule przedstawione zostało środowisko programowe zbudowane do celów nadzorowania procesu eksploatacji urządzeń transportu bliskiego. Zrealizowana aplikacja, z wykorzystaniem pakietu programowego InTouch umożliwia wspomaganie procesu decyzyjnego użytkownika-operatora oraz monitorowanie oraz wizualizację procesu transportowego realizowanego przez suwnice.

Opis:
The unwoven filtrating materials are usually used for design of engine filters. Their disordered structure is very difficult for mathematical description, therefore the computer simulation and modelling methods are used for approximation. The article presents assumptions of computer simulation of these materials and the results of their numerical analysis. The computer program enables to simulate the structures designed of the unlimited fibrous number. It is possible to change the length and thickness of the fibres as well as the number of layers forming the structure. The size of pores can be also defined in the simulated structure. For the comparison of the simulated and real filtrating material lit was used an unwoven synthetic material made with melt blown method on the polypropylene base. The medium thickness of fibres and the number of the layers was the same in the real material and in the simulated structure. The size of pores was determined using Barus Bechhold method in the real material. The great differences between the values of the size of pores in the simulated and real structure were caused mainly by simplifications applied for modelling of the disordered structure. Trial comparison of the results of computer simulation with the real structure of a fibrous filtration material shows on the essential differences in the dimensions of interfibre clearances existing in these structures.
Do budowy filtrów silnikowych obecnie powszechnie są stosowane włókniste materiały filtracyjne. Ich nieuporządkowana struktura jest trudna do opisu matematycznego, dlatego dla jej przybliżenia są stosowane metody modelowania i komputerowej symulacji. W artykule zaprezentowano założenia symulacji komputerowej tych materiałów oraz ich numeryczną analizę. Zastosowany program komputerowy pozwala projektować struktury złożone z dowolnej liczby włókien. Możliwym jest także zadawanie parametrów włókien takich jak długość i grubość oraz liczby warstw tworzących strukturę. Dla porównania struktury symulowanej z rzeczywistym materiałem filtracyjnym zastosowano włókninę syntetyczną wytworzoną metodą melt blown na bazie polipropylenu. Średnia grubość włókien oraz liczba warstw w materiale rzeczywistymi w strukturze symulowanej były taka same. Średnicę por w materiale rzeczywistym oznaczono za pomocą metody Barusa Bechholda. Duże różnice pomiędzy wartościami rozmiarów por w symulowanej i rzeczywistej strukturze zdaniem autora spowodowane są przede wszystkim uproszczeniami zastosowanymi w modelu struktury nieuporządkowanej. Próba porównania rezultatów symulacji komputerowej z rzeczywistą strukturą włóknistego materiału filtracyjnego wskazuje na istotne różnice wielkości prześwitów międzywłókiennych powstających w tych strukturach.

In this article, the method of designating the tasks in the municipal services companies was described. Presented method consists of three phase: the preparatory phase, the optimization phase and the generated tasks phase. Each phase was characterized. In this paper, the mathematical model of this problem was presented. The function of criterion and the condition on designating the tasks were defined. The minimum route described in the optimization phase was designated by the genetic algorithm. In this paper, the stages of constructing of the genetic algorithm were presented. A structure of the data processed by the algorithm, a function of adaptation, a selection of chromosomes, a crossover, a mutation and an inversion were characterized. A structure of the data was presented as string of natural numbers. In selection process, the roulette method was used and in the crossover, process the operator PMX was presented. The method was verified in programming language C #. The process of verification was divided into two stages. In the first stage, the best parameters of the genetics algorithm were designated. In the second stage, the algorithm was started with these parameters and the result was compared with the random search algorithm. The random search algorithm generates 2000 routes and the best result is compared with the genetic algorithm. The influence of the inversion, the mutation and the crossover on quality of the results was examined.

Opis:
The purpose fulness as well as necessity of cars safety determination has been exhibited. Moreover, the principles of the flnite element method (FEM) have been explained as well as its usefulness as a crash testing simulation tool. The programs which have been established in order to explore possibilities of virtual testing have been described. The paper contains the designs of the large vehicles passive safety devices. The problems concerning simulations of large vehicles — cars accidents have been emphasized. Moreover, the conversion of the experimental testing in to the virtual testing has been pointed out along with its advantages and disadvantages. Furthermore, the paper describes the proposition of the safety improvement in case large vehicle -  car accidents investigated with aid of virtual crash testing. The last mentioned system is especially important in terms of truck tractor with a trailer where slipping is very dangerous due to the fact that it can cause breaking the connection and in conseguence roll over. Another, new solution which improves passive safety could be the "active bumper ". The passive safety devices are necessary to reduce danger as well as provide passengers with maximum possible comfort what but a way also improves safety.
