- The ethical idea of Henryk Elzenberg is strong connected with an objective worth categories (perfect) and the ethical perfection, that’s why we can placed it in a perfection ethic current. There is only one aim in the perfectionism – perfection, the most complete development or the individual progress. An axiology creation distinguishes the man from the surrounding world, it manifests by need and ability of making the culture, with a purpose to realize the perfect worths. He says that “the only one true life meaning is a good and beautiful love and an aim to realize it”. The perfect worths include in their essence an internal order to realize themself. Elzenberg tgought that the world outside the human activity is indifferent for worths. He convinced that this world is strange, hostile and without any sense. Elzenberg has proposed to call this specific ethic attitude homo ethicus. In that attitude the main aim of human being is to realize the good and avoid the evil. Homo ethicus it is a man, who wants more to be good than only wants good. A man acquiring next virtues and perfection levels goes to fight against evil and multiply the good inside him, and finally to reach the world of absolute worths. And a man like this in Elzenber eyes was Mahatma Gandhi.
