- Fossil fuels, mainly petroleum and natural gas, are dominant in the transport sector. The occurring climate changes, which are largely the result of exhaust emissions, must be slowed down. To achieve this, legal regulations have been introduced determining the development of alternative drives in transport while reducing the share of those present. The development of electromobility and clean gas technologies is a chance to reduce the share of diesel drives in the transport sector. The purpose of this article is to present the role of natural gas and crude oil in the perspective of 2030.
