Opis:: Ecological problem is a challenge to the mankind. Each country must solve it and serious financial support is required for its solution. This paper contains the statistical data of the ecological problem budgeting and of the harmful substance emission volume in Latvia. Over the period of ten years the dynamics of influence of financing the ecological situation in Latvia has been established. Based on the Latvian ecological statistical data, sample correlation and flexibility coefficients are computed and the regression level is determined. Due to the absence of the data about the transport streams influence, the given statistical data about the ecological situation in Latvia is not complete.

Opis:: W artykule dokonano identyfikacji czynników zagrożenia w ruchu drogowego, wśród których dominujące znaczenia mają: zachowania uczestników ruchu drogowego (pieszych oraz kierowców), niesprawność techniczna pojazdu oraz stan infrastruktury drogowej. Następnie dokonano analizy danych statystycznych w zakresie liczby wypadków drogowych i ich skutków (zabici i ranni), a także zwrócono uwagę na takie aspekty jak: czas i miejsce powstawania wypadków oraz ich rodzaje. Badaniem objęto zdarzenia odnotowane w latach 2015-2016.
The article identifies risk factors in road traffic, among which the main drivers are: behavior of road users (pedestrians and drivers), technical failure of the vehicle and condition of the road infrastructure. Statistical data on the number of road accidents and their effects (killed and wounded) were then analyzed, as well as the time and place of accidents and their types. The study covered the events recorded in the years 2015-2016.

Opis:: Artykuł został podzielony na cztery części. W pierwszej części pracy przedstawiono statystki wypadków w Polsce. Opisano liczbę pojazdów zarejestrowaną w kraju oraz tendencję występowania wypadków drogowych w latach 2008–2017. W drugiej części scharakteryzowano autonomiczne auta. Przedstawiono 6 poziomów klasyfikacji autonomicznych pojazdów. Szczegółowo opisano pojazdy firmy Waymo oraz Tesla, uwzględniając przy tym również pojazdy BMW i Mercedesa. W trzeciej części poruszono tematykę autonomicznych aut w Polsce. Opisano również pierwszy śmiertelny wypadek z udziałem autonomicznego auta. W ostatniej części przedstawiono wady i zalety idące za wprowadzeniem autonomicznych pojazdów.
The article presents the main issues connected to autonomous cars, especially a vision for the near future. The theme was divided into four parts. The first part of the paper presents the statistics of car crashes in Poland. It describes also the number of registered vehicles in the country and the trend of car crashes in the period 2008–2017. The second part defines the autonomous cars. Six levels of classification of autonomous vehicles are presented and described. The vehicles of Waymo and Tesla are described in details, taking into consideration also BMW and Mercedes cars. The third part deals with the subject of autonomous cars in Poland. The first deadly car crash caused by the autonomous car is also mentioned. The last part presents the advantages and disadvantages of autonomous vehicles.
