- Refugee children and adolescents are deprived of a happy childhood and youth. School is a place where they can feel confident and comfortable and where they can bring their lives back to normal. But we have to learn and understand the effects of trauma and learn skills that are helpful in the integration process. Dance and theatre classes provide them with opportunities to express themselves. Foundations and stu-dents can help the school in its work. It is also essential to exchange experience. I attempt to provide insights into a diverse range of experience and possibilities, also from a pedagogical point of view.
