Construction is one of the most important, but also the most extensive areas of the economy. That is why we encounter superstitions and customs related to this discipline of the economy quite often: we blew and repeat them, not even knowing what their origin is and what according to old beliefs resulted in their lack of application. This situation applies in practice to all buildings, including residential buildings implemented at different times of time, including today. The aim of the article is to indicate the genesis of selected exaggerations, describe the customs that arose on their basis and present the alleged effects of not cultivating them. Due to the criterion of time in relation to the period of construction of the building, the article discusses superstitions and customs specific to the following stages of the investment: preparatory works and designa, direct implementationand operation and operationand.

When implementing the EU internal market, already in 1985, the European Council placed particular emphasis on certain sectors, including construction, imposing the need to establish essential requirements for products created to meet various human needs, including safety and other aspects important for the general good, in order to achieve and ensure a high level of protection. In the case of construction products, the essential requirements consist of both general and specific criteria to be met by the construction work. These requirements should be interpreted in such a way that these facilities should meet one, several or all of these requirements to an appropriate degree of credibility, if provided for by the regulations.

At world-wide production over 30 billion of tones, concrete is one of the most popular construction materials, at the same time the amount of carbon dioxide derived from cement industry is estimated to 5-7% of world annual CO2 emissions. By enhancing concrete’s properties, the application of nanoparticles to cement composites production could diminish the carbon footprint of the industry. Nanosilica is researched with an aim to enhance mechanical properties and durability of concrete. The aim of this study is to assess the influence of nano-silica on compressive strength, density and water absorption of cement paste with an addition of two plasticizers with different chemical base. The consistency of fresh cement paste with plasticizers was measured. The dosage of nano-silica was 1%, 2% or 3% of binder mass. The addition of nano-silica severely reduced the consistency of cement paste. The enhancement of early compressive strength was observable.

W referacie opisano kwestie technicznych rozwiązań wspołczesnych instalacji stosowanych w budownictwie. Charakterystyka techniczna systemow instalacyjnych odnosi się do rożnych źrodeł wytwarzania ciepła dla potrzeb ogrzewania budynku i przygotowania ciepłej wody użytkowej. W opisie technicznych rozwiązań instalacji przedstawiono rownież dostępne materiały, jak rury, armatura odcinająca, regulacyjna, zabezpieczająca i kontrolno-pomiarowa, a także pompy cyrkulacyjne. W nawiązaniu do stosowanych materiałów instalacyjnych zaprezentowano potencjalne zagrożenia w eksploatacji instalacji przy braku profesjonalnej obsługi i konserwacji podczas użytkowania budynku.
The paper describes the issues of technical solutions to contemporary installations used in construction. Technical characteristics of installation systems refers to various sources of heat for building heating and domestic hot water. In the description of the technical installation solutions also presents available materials, such as pipes, shutoff valves, regulatory, safety, control and measurement, as well as circulation pumps. In reference to the applicable installation materials there are presented potential threats in the operation of the system in the case of the absence of professional service and maintenance during use of the building.

W opracowaniu przedstawiono wiadomości dotyczące oddziaływania impulsów elektromagnetycznych o dużej mocy i wysokiej częstotliwości (w.cz) na infrastrukturę techniczną obiektów budowlanych. Stosowanie nowoczesnych rozwiązań technicznych w zarządzaniu budynkiem inteligentnym tj. sterowanie zasobami ludzkimi i systemami automatyki, efektywne zarządzanie przestrzenią budynku wymaga zastosowania dużej liczby zintegrowanych systemów elektronicznych. Z technicznego punktu widzenia inteligentny budynek to taki obiekt budowlany, w którym wszystkie podsystemy (np. bezpieczeństwa technicznego, klimatyzacji, wentylacji i ogrzewania, oświetlenia, zasilania elektroenergetycznego, teleinformatycznego, itd.) współdziałając ze sobą tworząc przyjazne dla człowieka środowisko. Zastosowanie specjalizowanych układów elektronicznych, procesorów, mikrokontrolerów w tych podsystemach może być przyczynkiem zastosowania broni E jako alternatywy ataku terrorystycznego – obezwładniającego systemy automatyki zarządzania budynkiem [1,2].
This article presents electromagnetic pulses in appropriate technical parameters ( high power and high frequency – weapon E) produced in targeted are terrorist threat which may dispose technical infrastructure of buildings [1]. The use of modern technologies in intelligent building management i.e. human resources, control and auto-mation systems, efficient buildings space management, requires using a large number of integrated electronic systems . From technical point of view, the intelligent building is a buildings in which all subsystems ( eg. technical security, air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, power, electricity, etc.), interact with each other and create human-friendly environment. The use of specialized electronic systems, processors, microcontrollers in these subsystems may be a trigger of the use of weapons E as an alternative of terrorist attack – disabling automatic building management systems.

Bezpieczeństwo w branży budowlanej honorowane powinno być szczególnie. Artykuł ma zadanie zwrócić uwagę na wciąż nieklarowną sytuację, jaka ma miejsce oraz wyjaśnić, jakie są jej przyczyny.
Over the years, in spite of the enormous technological progress and construction, more and more often we hear about the numerous construction disasters. They are, in addition to errors caused by the human factor, the result is still not regulated by legal norms on the broader construction industry. Analyzing the data and reports that are coming to us and watching passivity decision-making bodies, makes us fear for the safety of all of us. Safety in the construction industry should be especially honored. The article is to draw attention to the still The cloudy situation that takes place, and explain what are the causes.

By meticulously examining these instances, this paper endeavors to shed light on the multifaceted factors that contributed to their unfolding. Through rigorous analysis, it seeks to unravel the underlying elements, encompassing engineering flaws, material limitations, regulatory oversights, and human errors, which collectively or in isolation, led to these prominent mishaps. Through an amalgamation of empirical data, historical context, and contemporary discourse, this study seeks to not only comprehend the individual incidents but also to extract overarching patterns and lessons learned. The construction documentation imposes certain obligations on the participants of the construction process: investor, investor's supervision inspector, designer, construction manager (works manager). Activities and tasks assigned to individual participants in the process require them to properly understand and interpret the law, because ignorance of the provisions does not exempt them from responsibility. The article defines and characterizes the documentation required during the construction implementation, which proves that all works during the execution of the building object were carried out in a safe and compliant manner.

Zaprezentowano rodzaje promieniowania i ich charakterystykę. Opisano jednostki aktywności źródła i dawki przyjętej przez organizmy żywe. Następnie artykuł opisuje normy promieniowania ustalone dla materiałów budowlanych i wymagania ustawowe jakie muszą spełniać budynku w celu ochrony przed naturalnymi źródłami promieniowania pochodzącego z zastosowanych materiałów budowalnych i gazu radonu. W Polsce prowadzony jest stały monitoring wybranych materiałów pod kątem promieniowania. Wyniki tych pomiarów również zaprezentowano w artykule.
Types of radiation and their characteristics was presented. Description of the individual source activity and dose adopted by living organisms was given. The article then cites the exposure standard established for building materials and legal requirements to be met by the building to protect it from natural sources of radiation from the building materials and radon gas. In Poland, it is carried out constant monitoring of selected materials for radiation. The results of these measurements are also presented in the article.
