Opis:: Istnieje wiele rodzajów klejów stosowanych w poligrafii od klejów PUR, przed wodne dyspersje poli- oraz copolimerowe, aż po kleje roślinne i zwierzęce. Wszystkie można podzielić na kategorie uwzględniając ich różne atrybuty takie jak: pochodzenie, stan skupienia, mechanizm spajania i inne. Co więcej, wymienione kategorie mogą być dalej dzielone na podkategorie. W artykule wymienione zostały kleje stosowane w poligrafii przy zastosowaniu najpopularniejszego podziału na kleje naturalne i kleje syntetyczne.

Opis:: W artykule zaprezentowano wymagania i możliwości zastosowania materiałów bioaktywnych do wytworzenia powłok funkcjonalnych na wyrobach poligraficznych. Przedstawiono znane obecnie rozwiązania i potencjalne możliwości zastosowania znanych materiałów bioaktywnych w przemyśle poligraficznym. Wskazano również na ograniczenia prawne w stosowaniu tych substancji, związane z bezpieczeństwem użytkowania wyrobów.
This paper presents requirements and possibilities for bioactive materials used to create a functional film for printed products. A presentation of currently known solutions and potential developments of bioactive substances in printing industry is carried out, followed by discussion of legal restrictions in their use resulting from safety requirements.

Opis:: Every subject matter when closely analyzed contains a set of attributes which are vital to understand the subject matter in question and to ensure that every individual uses a unified nomenclature. Adhesives can be described by a series of properties that are vital for understanding them, for example cohesion and adhesion. Other properties are important for ensuring a certain adhesive is proper for a specific use case scenario (bonding surface types, machine compatibility). This section defines and elaborates on some of the most important adhesive properties for bookbinding and packaging purposes, clarifies adhesive nomenclature and describes bond susceptibility types.
Klej to często niedoceniany materiał poligraficzny, który dostrzegany jest dopiero w sytuacji, gdy książka, opakowanie lub inny produkt poligraficzny nie spełnia wymogów pod względem wytrzymałości łączenia jego elementów. Istnieje wiele rodzajów klejów stosowanych w poligrafii: od klejów PUR (poliuretanowe), poprzez wodne dyspersje poli- i copolimerowe, aż po kleje roślinne i zwierzęce. Wszystkie one charakteryzują się zestawem konkretnych atrybutów definiujących ich właściwości i zastosowanie. W artykule wymienione i opisane zostały najważniejsze właściwości klejów poligraficznych oraz najczęstsze rodzaje uszkodzeń spoiny klejowej.

There are many deinitions of sustainable development, including this landmark one which first appeared in 1987: development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Sustainable development calls for a convergence between the three pillars of economic development, social equity and environmental protection. The best illustration is an equilateral triangle, divided for three triangles. Every triangle symbolizes one of pillars. If triangles are identical it means ideal proportions between the three pillars: economy, ethics and ecology. Graphic arts is a specific branch of industry. Opis:: The article outlines the history of the publishing house Przedświt, operating illegally outside the scope of censorship (in the so-called second circulation) in the years 1982–1989. The publishing house oriented at the publishing of valuable books – not only those that could not appear legally – was a peculiar phenomenon on the map of underground printing and publishing. A special distinction of Przedświt were also artistic covers, designed by well-known graphic artists. The article covers both issues related to activities of underground publishing houses or repression by the authorities of Popular Republic of Poland, as well as short biographical entries of employees and associates, and a list of books published by the publishing house with a short summary of each. The content of the article for the most part is based on spoken sources – memories of people involved in publishing.
