    Cybersecurity is closely related to the issue of artificial intelligence. The starting point for its presentation in the EU perspective seems to be the Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions entitled „Artificial Intelligence for Europe”. This communication was preceded by the European Economic and Social Committee’s own-initiative opinion „Artificial intelligence: the impact of artificial intelligence on the (digital) single market, production, consumption, employment and society”. In the body of this opinion, the European Economic and Social Committee concluded that there is no single accepted and rigid definition of artificial intelligence.

    The article presents the importance of technological development in the context of the new possibilities of using the air force on a complex digital network battlefield. The role of continuous 3D surveillance of a battlefield while gaining air supremacy was described. It was demonstrated how the use of the precision weapons, weapons based on new achievements in physics, and revolution in propulsion systems are changing the face of future combat and of the role of the use of aviation.

    The intense development of informational technology in the second half of the 20th century had a considerable impact on the art of warfare, which visibly benefitted from the development of new technologies and the scale of their application. Discernible new trends that became popular included developing a conception of the future battlefield, departing from violent armed clashes, and introducing dynamic, concentrated actions together with a wide scope of possessed information about the enemy and an operating environment as well as innovative technologies. State-of-the-art technologies have a powerful influence on the development of the contemporary battlefield.

    The article deals with the diagnosis of the current state in relation to responsibility in the flexible area of cyberspace which is itself hard to define, in the context of security, especially its transsectoral informative part; Polish statutory, strategic and program solutions are presented in the light of EU standards. The study includes a review of threats (mainly information and ICT infrastructure) and their scopes (systemic, economic, socio-cultural) and addressees obliged to preventive and eradication activities (primarily public authorities, but also other, e.g. commercial entities or representatives operating on the market of information society); it also touches on the substantive and institutional cooperation issues at the European level.

    Autor przedstawia w swoim artykule główne elementy analizy strategicznej kierunków działań państwa w zakresie podnoszenia poziomu bezpieczeństwa energetycznego kraju. Dokonana w pierwszej części diagnoza aktualnego stanu pozwala na postawienie tezy, iż gaz ziemny, który jest wydobywany ze złóż własnych jak i ten importowany ze wschodu nie gwarantuje wymaganego poziomu bezpieczeństwa w perspektywie strategicznej. W dalszej części artykułu zaprezentowana została prognoza możliwości wykorzystywania alternatywnych źródeł energii, rozpoczynając od czystych technologii węglowych, a kończąc na energetyce jądrowej. W kontekście wewnętrznych zagrożeń i szans dla bezpieczeństwa energetycznego Polski stwierdza się, że istnieją trzy główne kierunki działań: tworzenie unijnego jednolitego energetycznego rynku wewnętrznego, tworzenie własnych możliwości dywersyfikacji pozyskiwania surowców energetycznych oraz podejmowanie intensywnych działań w zakresie wykorzystywania alternatywnych źródeł. Zagrożenia zewnętrzne wynikają głównie z polityki eksporterów surowców, w tym głównie Rosji, traktującej surowce energetyczne jako broń strategiczną, jak i z innych czynników, np. rosnącej konsumpcji w dynamicznie rozwijającej się gospodarce Polski.
    The author presents in his article the main elements of the strategic analysis in the field of possible actions to be taken by the state in order to increase the level of the national security in the energy area. The diagnosis of the current state presented in the first part of the article allows the thesis to put forward that natural gas, which is extracted from the national deposits and is imported from the East, does not guarantee the required level of security in the strategic perspective. In the second part of the article, the author presents the possibility of using alternative energy sources, starting with clean coal technologies and ending with the nuclear power industry. In the context of internal threats and opportunities for Polish energy security, the author concludes that there are three possible directions: to create a single EU internal energy market, to create national potential for diversification of the energy sources and to intensify activities in the use of alternative sources. The external threats are mainly due to the policy of exporters of raw materials, mainly Russia, who treat energy resources as a “strategic weapon”, as well as other factors, e.g. increasing consumption in the booming Polish economy.

    Celem artykułu jest wykazanie wpływu zastosowania nowych technologii na zabezpieczenie logistyczne wojsk realizujących zadania w specyficznych środowiskach walki. Zabezpieczenie logistyczne wojsk w specyficznych środowiskach walki stanowi istotny problem zarówno dla zabezpieczanych, jak i zabezpieczających. W zależności od rodzaju środowiska występują różne problemy ze sposobem dostarczenia odpowiedniego rodzaju i ilości zaopatrzenia skoordynowanych z potrzebami odbiorcy w odpowiednim czasie i przestrzeni. Istotą zabezpieczenia logistycznego wojsk w specyficznych środowiskach walki jest zapewnienie ciągłości zaopatrywania w niezbędne asortymentowo i ilościowo zaopatrzenie oraz ewakuacja uszkodzonego zasadniczego sprzętu wojskowego. Zabezpieczenie logistyczne wojsk realizujących zadania w specyficznych środowiskach walki można usprawnić poprzez zastosowanie nowych technologii stanowiących element uzupełniający tradycyjne rozwiązania.
    The aim of an article is to show a influence of the implementation of new technologies in combat service support on specific battlefield. The logistic support in specific battlefield cause many problems on both sides: in supported forces and in logistic subunits. Depending on the type of the environment, there are various problems with how to provide the right sort and quantity of supplies coordinated with needs of the recipient in the right time and space. The essence of the logistic support in specific combat environments is to ensure continuity of military supply chain of necessary assortment and quantity of supplies and evacuation of damaged basic military equipment. Improving of the effectiveness of logistic service support for combat forces in specific combat environments can be achieved through the use of new technologies that is complementary to traditional solutions.

    New technologies are, in the world of advancing processes of globalization, scientific and technical revolution, one of the most important indicators for designing many areas of social life. The useage of information technology has initiated many social phenomena generating many previously unknown concepts, threats, and in response, new areas of expert and research interest. One of them is cyber security, which focuses on building national, European or international policies to secure the functioning of information systems. The aim of this paper is to analyze and evaluate cyber security from the perspective of a user of new technologies. The applied research method will be a synthetic and analytical analysis of domestic and foreign literature in the field of new technologies and cyber security.
