Opis:: L’articolo offre una visione generale dei libri manoscritti e degli antichi libri stampati di provennienza italiana, conservati nell’Archivio dell’Arcidiocesi di Gniezno. Gniezno è la sede del Primate di Polonia e per secoli il suo arcivescovo è stato una personalità assai importante nel Regno di Polonia (allora Confederazione Polacco-Lituana), subito dopo il re. Il significato ecclesiastico e politico di questo arcivescovado spiega i secolari legami del clero di Gniezno con l’Italia come meta dei pellegrinaggi, dei viaggi alla curia pontificia e degli studi universitari. L’articolo mette in evidenza, tra i libri manoscritti, i codici latini contenenti i libri dei corsi universitari (in questo numero vi sono quattro codici provenienti da Padova), gli appunti delle lezioni presi dagli studenti e un giornale di viaggio scritto in polacco durante un viaggio a Roma nel XVIII secolo. Gli incunaboli di provenienza italiana, per la loro quantità, dovrebbero costituire un oggetto di studio separato e non sono presi in considerazione in questo contributo. Tra le antiche stampe del XVI secolo, l’autore presenta i libri considerati sia “italica” sia “polonica”. Per quanto riguarda i libri stampati successivamente di provenienza italiana conservati a Gniezno, l’articolo si riferisce alla biblioteca privata di un canonico capitolare, che negli anni 1834–1835 intraprese un viaggio di studio in Italia. Infine, l’Autore menziona alcune “tracce bibliotecarie” delle relazioni polacco-italiane riguardanti la Riforma protestante.
The paper gives a general view of the handwritten books and of the old printed books of Italian provenance, stored in the Gniezno Archdiocese archives (Poland). Gniezno is the seat of the Primates of Poland and its archbishop was through centuries a very important person in the Kingdom of Poland (than in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth), right after the king. The ecclesiastical and political significance of this archbishopric explains the centuries-old connections of the Gniezno clergy to Italy as a destination of the peregrinations, of the journeys to the Papal Curia and of the academic studies. The paper emphasizes, among the manuscript books, the Latin codices containing the university course books (in this number they are four codices from Padova), the lecture notes made by the students and a travel journal written in the Polish language during a trip to Rome in the 18th century. The incunabula of the Italian provenance, due to their amount, should be an object of a separate study and are not considered in this paper. Among the old prints from the 16th century the author presents the books considered both “italica” and “polonica.” Regarding the posterior printed books of the Italian provenance stored at Gniezno, the paper refers to the private library of a chapter canon, which in the years 1834–1835 undertook a study trip in Italy. At the end the author makes a mention of some “librarian trace” of the Polish-Italian relationships concerning the Protestant Reformation.

Opis:: Among the students of medicine in Padua from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, in XVII and XVIII centuries, we can note a certain number of Jews. This article contains a short analysis of so far findings in the area of research on this aspect of Jewish history in the First Republic of Poland. Referring to more and less known facts, the Author paid particular attention to the motivations and aspirations of Jewish scholars who had come to City of Antenor from Polish-Lithuanian land. Following the careers of Jewish medical graduates, we can see, that for most of them having a Padua diploma was not only the way to gain a better status in the Jewish community but also a gateway to overcoming cultural barriers. According to the Author, this was possible due to the fact, that many of the representatives of polish nobility, who were called “Paduans,” had similar experiences of contact with the university environment and the culture of the Venetian Republic.
Tra gli studenti di medicina a Padova provenienti dalla Confederazione Polacco-Lituana, nei secoli XVII e XVIII, possiamo notare un certo numero di Ebrei. L’articolo contiene una breve analisi dei risultati fino ad ora ottenuti nell’ambito della ricerca su questo aspetto della storia delgi Ebrei nella Prima Repubblica di Polonia. Riferendosi a fatti più o meno conosciuti, l’Autore presta particolare attenzione alle motivazioni e alle aspirazioni degli studenti ebrei che arrivavano alla città di Antenore dalle terre Polacco-Lituane. Seguendo la carriera degli Ebrei laureati in medicina, possiamo osservare che per molti di loro conseguire il diploma a Padova non non era solo un modo per ottenere uno status migliore nella comunità ebraica, ma anche una porta per superare le barriere culturali. Secondo l’Autore, ciò era possibile poiché molti dei rappresentanti della nobiltà polacca, detti “padovani”, avevano avuto analoghe esperienze di contatto con l’ambiente universitario e con la cultura della Repubblica di Venezia.

Opis:: The goal of the article is to present an applied research project which sets an example of best practice in international academic cooperation for building an evidence-based prevention system in Western Ukraine. As a neighboring country, Poland is open to sharing its experience and achievements in attaining effective systematic solutions regarding alcohol and drug issues, which is of interest to Ukraine and is confirmed by the execution of the presented project, realized in cooperation with the academic staff of the Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University. The aim of the project is to develop a conceptual and educational module for courses preparing students for prevention work with children and the youth. The project was implemented by a team from the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, which has over twenty years of experience in preparing social educators for the implementation of preventive tasks. The article contains the empirical foundation, the need for the fulfillment of the project, the descriptions of its goals, subject, method of action and implementation stages. It discusses the difficulties encountered at the design and implementation stages, and the final results.
Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie projektu badań stosowanych, będącego przykładem dobrej praktyki w zakresie międzynarodowej współpracy akademickiej na rzecz budowania systemu profilaktyki opartej na dowodach naukowych w zachodniej Ukrainie. Polska jako kraj sąsiadujący jest otwarta na dzielenie się doświadczeniami i osiągnięciami w wypracowywaniu skutecznych, systemowych rozwiązań dotyczących problemów alkoholowych i narkotykowych, którymi zainteresowana jest Ukraina. Potwierdzeniem tego jest prezentowany projekt, realizowany we współpracy z kadrą akademicką z Państwowego Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego im. Iwana Franki w Drohobyczu. Jego celem jest opracowanie koncepcji i modułu kształcenia dla kierunków studiów przygotowujących studentów do pracy profilaktycznej z dziećmi i młodzieżą. Realizatorem projektu jest zespół z Uniwersytetu Kazimierza Wielkiego w Bydgoszczy, który ma ponad dwudziestoletnie doświadczenie w przygotowywaniu pedagogów społecznych do realizacji zadań profilaktycznych. Artykuł zawiera empiryczne uzasadnienie potrzeby realizacji projektu oraz opisy jego celów szczegółowych, przedmiotu, metody działania i charakterystykę kolejnych etapów. Omówiono w nim trudności napotkane na etapie projektowania i realizacji oraz efekt końcowy.
