of action; namely, “corporate sustainability.” Corporate social responsibility can be embedded in (or fostered by) value-based management. In any case, adopting CSR as a part of a firm’s strategy and operations requires changed standards for decision-making. Decision-makers face the challenge of following tangible and intangible goals of multiple stakeholders. This study provides insights into how multi-criteria decision tools can be harnessed to operationalize CSR. The method applied in the article is a systematic international literature review. The findings suggest that papers aimed at using MCDM to enhance CSR management are mostly newer publications. Three important research avenues have emerged. In the first avenue, MCDMs are seen and used to enhance managerial decisions where a number of heterogenic goals must be achieved. The second avenue is where MCDMs are seen and used to evaluate a firm’s quantitative and qualitative outcomes in terms of values created for multiple stakeholders. The third trend is connected with sustainable supply-chain management.

Opis:
Companies are currently producing and processing larger and larger amounts of data that they were not able to effectively process and subsequently use in the management of company processes in the past. There are several technologies and tools for the analytical processing and evaluation of diverse data, such as the Big Data technology. The Industry 4.0 concept (which is closely linked with the IoT) will bring an enormous growth of produced data into the company sphere. The information value of such data can signifi cantly affect managing and decision-making processes in a company. Here, we can see a synergy between man and technology where each influences the other. The purpose of this paper is to support the following statement: in the present business environment, we are facing the transformation of a company that, for efficient management and decision-making, needs: a) to capture and process all available data; b) to implement new tools into strategic decisions; and c) to integrate data through a single system. This article describes the possibilities of deploying the efficient use of new technologies (Big Data, Industry 4.0, and IoT) in management.

Opis:
In the last decade, the oil industry has transitioned from primarily drilling vertical wells to a majority of extended reach complex horizontal wells with help of geosteering techniques for better reservoir and production efficiencies. The overall objective of geosteering and well placement has helped to maximize reservoir contact by the keeping well trajectory in the pay zone with the help of quality real-time data, especially in these uncertain times of pandemic due to COVID-19. This paper illustrates the immense impact of real-time data feeds (special logging tools/images) at operation centers with the full remote expert support of multidisciplinary teams. The proper data communication mechanism is also helpful to share the information across asset teams in a timely manner to drill complex wells remotely. To achieve the desired geosteering objectives, experts monitor and evaluate the real-time data in a landing well accurately in the pay horizon by designing the well path which considers geological variables like (reservoir architecture, permeability and porosity distribution, and fluid contacts) which further helps update the reservoir models in real-time based on the latest subsurface information for better reservoir management and timely decision making.

Opis:
92–95 i stanowią podstawę wydania decyzji zatwierdzającej podział. Poza nimi w dokumentach podziałowych odnaleźć można także inne odesłania do ustawy (art. 96–99).
The subdivision of real property is performed according to defined laws. One of the them is the Act of 21 August 1997 on real property management which imposes on the executive branch of municipalities an obligation to perform subdivision procedures. According to this Act, if the division of real property is performed by a municipality commune head (mayor or president of a city), such a procedure must end in an administrative decision. The subdivision can be shown in the cadastre and in land register only when this decision comes into force. The Act indicates a few methods to subdivide real property. They are included in art. 92–95 and are the basis of a decision approving the subdivision. There are also other references to the Act in the subdivision documents (art. 96–99). The authors intended to check the legal basis of decisions subdividing real property based on the Act on real property management in 1998–2014, in two municipalities.

Opis:
The paper presents the results of 57 Drill Stem Tests (DST) within the Upper Jurassic carbonate rocks forming the Carpathian Fordeep basement in the area between Bochnia and Ropczyce (south Poland) performed by the Polish Oil and Gas Company in the years 1993 to 1998. Designated prospective horizons were tested with DST for assessing productivity of strata. DST tests were performed mostly in open hole sections of boreholes (more rarely in cased holes) after prior borehole casing perforation operations. In approximately 75% cases the cycle drill stem tests (DST) was used for testing the Upper Jurassic carbonate rocks. On the basis of data and experiences obtained during exploration of the Upper Jurassic carbonate rocks the model of the work-flow decision diagram was elaborated. It may be used for the integrated HC field management and for possible modifications in the drilling and testing technology.

Opis:
In a dynamic, environment, the decision makers make use of many different resources where two or more can act as substitutes. At each decision moment in time, the market prices will be constant, and the relative prices of accessible resources will determine the economic rationale of the process. Ignoring or downplaying the effects of substitutability of resources in dynamic economic processes may lead to mismanagement of the fish stocks and result in serious economic consequences for the respective fishing industries. For nearly five decades’ fishery managers and policy makers have used bio-economic models and methods as foundation for their management schemes. These models and methods are for the most based on the deductive methodology of economics where central assumptions are the metaphors of “equilibrium“ and “bio-economic equilibrium“. Models based on equilibrium theories are usually deterministic where dynamics of the markets are a meager part of the problem. Less attention has been offered to inductive reasoning and modeling within the field of fishery management. The inductive method of reasoning is often based on facts and actual observations within the industries, a methodology widely used by engineers and the field of business administration. In this paper, we introduce and integrate the concept of substitutability of economic resources into a traditional bio-economic model. The results show that fishery management, which bases decisions solely on traditional bio-economic models where the dynamics and consequences of the operational decision processes of the industry are ignored, may reach decisions that work opposite of their intention.
