- Introduction. The omnipresence of information technologies is a feature of modern times. Their presence in the environmentof human life and work has not only advantages, but also poses many risks. People's dependence on information technologies, especially the Internet, is a very important problem, including the school population. Aim. The aim of the research is to analyse the lifestyle of schoolchildren, with particular emphasis on the use of modern information technologies. Material and methods. The study was conducted using a proprietary questionnaire. Statistical analysis was conducted withthe Mann-Whitney U test and Spearman's rank-order correlation coefficient. Results. 169 respondents, 74% women and 26% men participated in the survey. The average age was 17.1 years, with a standard deviation of 0.71 years. The youngest respondent was 16 years old, while the oldest was 19. Conclusions: 1. Most of the respondents believe that it is necessary to react to cyber-bullying. 2. More than half of the respondents use the Internet all the time and at the same time consider that they spend too much time online. 3. The majority of the respondents claim that no one persuaded them to meet.
