Opis:: The article discusses interactivity and intermediality in the output of the Polish avant-garde artists Franciszka and Stefan Themerson. The author claims that their two-dimensional works created in the 1930s and addressed at children are early examples of interactive strategies activating young readers in search for understanding of the modern world. Non-traditional illustrations, experimental typography and texts far from ‘classical’ literature for children form inseparable verbo-visual entities (named ‘wordgraphy’) where words and images are of equal importance. What happens between the engaged media proves most interesting and most innovative.

Opis:: For a short but fertile period, the paths of the two extraordinary artists El Lissitzky (1890-1941) and Moyshe Broderzon (1890-1956) intersected and gave rise to important artistic projects. Both authors shared the ideal projects of the Bund, and in particular the affirmation of the cultural autonomy of Jews in their countries of residence. Their choices then diverged: Lissitzky became one of the most distinguished coryphaei of Suprematism and Soviet art; Broderzon, on the other hand, remained faithful to the project of creating a new Jewish art directed towards a Jewish audience. Their story is told against the backdrop of Jewish participation in the Central-Eastern European avant-garde.

Opis:: The author of the article presents the project of August Zamojski, a Polish artist and theoretician of art, who created his own, very modern idea of artistic experience. This project was discussed in the context of mediumistics and in the confrontation with new tendencies within the theory of literature. It is the first so spacious interpretation of this project.
