Opis:
This article shows that there is a need to carry out the certification process of the system of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) as an element conditioning the safety of their operation. The published statistics related to the operation of this type of technical objects were presented and analysed stating that one of the causes of incidents and accidents involving the unmanned aircraft mostly includes failure of components of the unmanned aircraft systems. Considering the lack of definitive formulated legislation and procedures in this area, it gains particular importance. Bearing in mind the review nature of this article, it also introduces basic information on the certification of unmanned aircraft systems, according to standardisation agreements of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO). Furthermore, this article presents the characteristics of unmanned aircraft systems, especially for this class of devices, in case of their failure there is no ultimate level of safety guarantee, which is the human factor – operatoraction.

Opis:
The development and use of unmanned airborne systems are currently undergoing a huge transformation. This allows the development of computer technology, new materials for their construction. Reducing airborne funds would enable them to be widely used. This applies to not only military use but also mainly civil use, industrial and commercial use as well. This new use brings new challenges, including security, legislative, technical, social, and so forth. This paper focused on the possibility of having several Unmanned Aircraft Systems movement in urban areas. It contains the description of a philosophical proposal of flight corridors and flight trajectories in urban areas with the example of a small town.

This paper offers a comparison of selected European countries´ approaches to the civil and commercial use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) with the approach and rules set by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in the Czech Republic. The authors specially focused on the differences in the approaches of individual authorities, which regulate the use of unmanned vehicles in the countries concerned in order to emphasise the inconsistency of rules within the European Economic Area. In the other part of the paper, the authors outline the possibilities of using unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), particularly dealing with increasing safety in air transport as a complement to biological protection of airports, and propose their original idea of the system.

Opis:
The Tactical Aircraft Operating System (a system for tactical aircraft operational usage) constitutes the main research area of this paper. The authors present this system via an innovative model for an anthropotechnical system in the format of an aggregated analysis domain. This model constitutes a detailed explication of a fragment of the existing Tactical Air Force System metamodel at the level that concerns tactical aircraft operation systems. The aggregated analysis domain for tactical aircraft operations is built on seven single-analysis domain, each of which includes a series of processes, operations and events, related to the airman’s aviation activities cycle, what happens during an air mission and when an aircraft operating cycle is carried out. The subsequent individual analysis domains are connected to each other by an airman-aircraft anthropotechnical pair. The introduced method of modelling the Tactical Aircraft Operating System ensures the desired generality, comprehensiveness, coherence and transparency of such a model, which allows for its implementation in various types of tactical aircraft and tactical air force bases. In principle, within the presented considerations, the model is described in relation to a single aircraft operating cycle, which is carried out by one airman during a single air mission. However, the authors have taken care when creating this model structure, so that its implementation in more complex aircraft operating cycles (more than one aircraft and one airman) is possible. Apart from the analysis domains (“before take-off”, “departure”, “air task”, “arrival”, “after landing”), which are closely related to the essential aircraft operations, the model also includes the analysis domains associated with air mission preparations and summaries. The model for the Tactical Aircraft Operating System is described by the authors in textual form, as well as in tabular form. The presented concept constitutes an attempt to formally notate the Tactical Aircraft Operating System model, in which each of the individual analysis domains can be treated as an area of interest for hazard risk management processes within the Tactical Air Force System.

Opis:
Aircraft touchdown is one of the most difficult and dangerous phases of a flight. The paper presents an aerial light aircraft, prepared and produced by vibroacoustic tests, using an aircraft landing and landing monitoring system (AVI). The concept is based on the use of an ultrasonic transceiver head and vibration transducer, together with an appropriate signal processing and analysis system. The system measures the touchdown speed and altitude of the aircraft in the final phase of the flight and determines the level of load transmitted to the aircraft during the landing. Thanks to data archiving, it allows for better estimation of the wear rate of the structure, which is important in determining the causes of possible malfunction. It can be used with light and ultralight aircraft and, after adaptation, in unmanned aircraft. It can also be used to evaluate the art of piloting during landing.

Opis:
This article presents the results of research concerning the determination of an error of the vertical position of an aircraft during a flight, taking into account, the flight altitude and the values of the ZTD tropospheric product. In particular, this work focuses on the impact of an error in designating the ZTD tropospheric product on the correct determination of a flight altitude. The authors of this work performed a scientific experiment for research data of two flights made by a Cessna 172 around the aerodrome in Dęblin. This article shows the findings of the tropospheric ZTD product specified for the singlefrequency SPP positioning method and dual-frequency PPP positioning method. Based on the obtained results, it was discovered that the error of the ZTD tropospheric delay causes an altitude error from 0.08 m at the zenith angle equal to 80o even to 0.79 m at the zenith angle equal to 85o.

Opis:
Traffic organization in the airport area is one of the most difficult tasks for air traffic management services. This is due to the large number of aircraft performing complicated maneuvers in limited airspace. One of the key processes occurring in this area is the scheduling of landing aircraft. The aim of this study is to present the concept of implementation of a system for the evaluation of this process. The assessment method is based on determining the number of viable landings per unit time at a given aircraft schedule. On the basis of real air traffic measurements real landing aircraft schedules were analyzed. This shows that algorithms used by air traffic controllers in practice allow for a much smaller number of landings per unit of time than would result from the regulations. This indicates the existence of a large capacity to implement controller support systems in the process of aircraft landing scheduling.

Opis:
This paper presents the results of studies on the determination of an aircraft’s trajectory and positioning accuracy. The PPP method was applied to determine the aircraft’s position in kinematic mode for code observations in the GPS system. Computations were executed in the “PPP_KINEMTIC” software, whose source code was written using the Scilab 5.3.2 platform. The PPP_KINEMTIC software allows for the latitude coordinate to be estimated with accuracy between 1 and 6 m, the longitude coordinate to be estimated with accuracy between 0.5 and 2.5 m, and the ellipsoidal height to be estimated with accuracy between 1 and 7 m. The average value of the MRSE term equals 5 m with a magnitude between 1 and 8.5 m. In the paper, general libraries of the PPP_KINEMTIC application were presented and the PPP method was characterized too.
