    Opis:
    The transport of oversize cargo is distinguished by its specificity on the market of transport services. Specialised equipment is required for its implementation, and the number of people involved in the transport process itself is much higher than in the case of classic road transport. This paper presents the conditions related to the transport of oversize loads, characterised basic types of oversized cargo with the indication of the required documents related to the transport of this type of cargo. The method of preparation and organisation of oversize cargo transportation, as well as conditions of piloting vehicles with oversize cargoes, also are described.

    Przemieszczanie ładunków w procesach transportu i magazynowania wymaga stosowania urządzeń pomocniczych, do których zalicza się palety ładunkowe. Stanowią one grupę urządzeń magazynowo-transportowych, przeznaczonych do układania na nich lub w nich ładunków i są przystosowane do zmechanizowanych prac ładunkowych. Zastosowanie palet zależy od funkcji, jaką mają spełniać, oraz od rodzaju składowanego na nich lub w nich towaru. Coraz większą popularność zyskują palety ładunkowe płaskie, wykonane z tworzywa sztucznego. Stanowią one realną alternatywę dla palet drewnianych. Za korzystaniem z tego typu palet przemawiają przede wszystkim: łatwość utrzymania w odpowiednim stanie higienicznym, estetyczny wygląd bez konieczności przeprowadzania okresowej konserwacji powierzchni zewnętrznych, nie wchłaniają cieczy, stała, relatywnie niska waga, odporność na warunki atmosferyczne, podatność na utylizację, a ich produkcja nie przyczynia się do uszczuplania cennych zasobów drewna, jak jest w przypadku palet drewnianych.
    Movement of cargo transportation and storage processes requires the use of assistive devices which include the cargo pallet. They represent a group of warehouse and transportation equipment for laying on them or on their loads and are suitable for mechanized loading work. The use of pallets depends on the features they have to meet and the type of storage on them or their goods. Are gaining increasing popularity of flat cargo pallets made of plastic. They represent a viable alternative to wooden pallets. With the use of this type of pallet speak first of all: easy to keep in good state of hygiene, aesthetic appearance without the need for periodic maintenance of surfaces, do not absorb liquid, solid, relatively light weight, weather resistance, susceptibility to destruction and their production does not contribute the depletion of valuable timber resources, as is the case of wooden pallets.

    The purpose of the work is to study the influence of the longitudinally-transverse shift of the cargo’s center of mass on the dynamic loading of the wagon in order to solve the problem of predicting the dynamics and stability of an asymmetrically loaded railroad vehicle. During the analytical simulation, a multibody model of the spatial oscillations of the wagon was used. The differential equations of wagon oscillations are compiled using the d'Alembert principle, while the wagon is considered as a system with 42 degrees of freedom. The work presents the results of analytical simulation of some dynamic processes of interaction of railroad vehicles with the rails on the example of flat wagons. The results of the analytical simulation are presented, taking into account the speed of movement along the curved sections of the railway track. The proposed multibody model "heavy cargo – wagon" makes it possible to analytically determine the dynamic characteristics of the system and ensure the development of such methods of transportation of heavy cargo that meet the requirements of train traffic safety. The application of the obtained results will help improve the running safety of freight wagons and enhance the technical and economic performance of railways.

    Problem funkcjonowania transportu w międzynarodowych i krajowych wymianach towarowych i ich rozwój odgrywa bardzo ważną rolę. Wyraźnie widać, że transport i wymiana towarowa są ściśle ze sobą związane, a postęp i dalszy rozwój w obrębie jednej z tych działalności gospodarczych uwarunkowany jest postępem i rozwojem drugiej. Od wielu lat możliwość przesyłania towarów na duże odległości stanowi najważniejszą rolę w rozwoju gospodarki wielu państw. Do transportu wykorzystuje się różne środki, jednak najbardziej rozpowszechnionym i jak dotąd najtańszym transportem do przewozu masowych ładunków, przekraczających nieraz zdolności przewozowe innych gałęzi transportu, na duże odległości ze znaczną szybkością, jest transport kolejowy. Artykuł stanowi analizę sytuacji, w jakiej znalazł się w ostatnich latach transport kolejowy w Polsce.
    The problem of functioning of transport plays an important role in international and national market exchange and its development. It is clearly visible, that transport and market exchange are strictly connected with one another and the development and further evolvement in one of those is subjected to the development of the other. The possibility of sending goods on long distances has played the key role in the development of the economy of many countries for many years. Many different means of transport are used to transport loads, but the most popular and the cheapest means of massive load transport is the rail transport, which exceeds the transport possibilities of other transport branches on longdistances and offers transport at a high speed. This article presents the analysis of condition in which the rail transport has been in recent years.

    Transport of oversize cargo is a specific form of transport service. Specialised equipment is required for its implementation, while the number of people involved in the transport process itself is much higher than in the case of classic road transport form. This paper presents the problems related to permits and penalties that are used in the carriage of oversize cargo and the problems of transport safety in relation to the techniques of fixing oversize loads in road transport.

    In the modern world, transport as an integral part of social life is important. The development of all modes of transport requires continuous efficient management of the transport process, as well as the use of tools to optimise this process. This article aims to analyse international road cargo transport in EU countries and Poland from 2008-2018. The first part of this article analyses the number of employees and the trade of transport companies in EU countries. Then, the share of individual modes of transport in the transport of cargo in Poland from 2008 and 2018 is presented. The next section presents the results of the forecast of the volume of cargo transported by road in Poland from 2019-2021. The forecast values of the volume of cargo transport in Poland for 2019-2021, which were determined from the additive and multiplicative model, are at a similar level to the values for 2008-2018.

    This paper concerns the possibility of MEMS accelerometers employment in road transportation assessment. It makes use of statistical analysis tools and calculation of securing forces for the sake of road safety enhancement. The transport experiment was carried out and the statistical analysis shows a possible solution to the assessment of shocks during transportation, that in general adversely affect the cargo being transported (cargo securing), the vehicle, the driver, etc. From the results, it follows that even in the case of a high quality road (highway), the values of the shocks at higher speeds considerably exceed the expected magnitudes as defined in the respective standards. The assessment of truck transportation with up-to-date MEMS accelerometers is simple and relatively inexpensive and may represent a considerable contribution to road safety, including associated financial benefits.

    India’s diversified economy includes traditional and modern agriculture, crafts, modern industries and a variety of services. In 2017, almost half (48.93%) of India’s GDP was generated by the service sector, whereas the industrial sector accounted for 26.16% and agriculture 15.45%. Despite a short-term economic downturn caused by a demonetisation and implementation of compulsory tax on goods and services, the continued favourable economic growth, including sustainable growth of the gross domestic product, revenue per capita, private consumption and public investment, as well as the improvement of other economic indicators, for example, car sales indicate that India’s macroeconomic conditions are generally stable. Structural reforms introduced by the government contribute to enhanced productivity among domestic businesses and attract more foreign direct investment. Due to its geographical location, India has been using sea transport to promote its international trade. However, with too few deep-sea ports and limited cargo handling capacity, its seaports can handle only some of the largest intercontinental ships. This article discusses India’s economic situation, with particular regard to the GDP growth in 2000-2017 and foreign trade. The analysis covers growth in cargo handling in main ports in India in 2000-2018. It discusses the port development project of Sagarmala introduced by the Government of India in 2015. The project is expected to solve problems associated with the performance of Indian ports and strengthen the Indian maritime sector to meet the ever-growing demand for goods transported by sea.

    The Covid-19 pandemic has drastically affected the transport sector, because of the restrictions introduced to limit the spread of the threat. They concerned primarily passenger traffic, but trade in goods also faced completely new challenges, related to increased consumption and the dynamic development of e-commerce on the one hand and restrictions related to the pandemic and sealing borders on the other. One of the most susceptible to fluctuations in international trade is the maritime economy, which has been analysed in this article. It was checked how the global threat affected sea traffic in terms of gross weight of goods handled in main ports. The aim of the study was to characterize the impact of the pandemic on sea transport depending on the type of ship and to evaluate the current state of sea transport in the context of the level shaped by forecasts based on observations from before the coronavirus pandemic. The authors' assumption was to check whether the rail transport market has already reached the level it could reach in the absence of the virus threat. The use of a polynomial function was proposed for the study. Time series containing observations up to the outbreak of the pandemic and forecasts based on them, as well as time series containing additional observations from the pandemic period were analysed. The study results obtained allowed to conclude how the global crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic affected the cargo traffic in the sea transport, expressed by the mass of goods transshipped in major ports, depending on the individual types of ships.

    The transformation of South Korea from one of the poorest countries in the world in the 1950s to an industrial power and a member of OECD was exceptionally fast. The policy promoting the import of raw materials and the latest technologies enabled Korea to join the group of the most rapidly growing economies in the world in 2004. Such an imposing growth rate was the result of booming industrial production, trade expansion to Asian, American and European markets and a liberal economic policy. The Korean economy is the most foreign-trade dependent country of all OECD members, with sea transport playing a predominant role. This article analyses basic Korean macroeconomic indicators within 2002-2018, with particular emphasis on the GDP. It discusses sea transport figures, including the cargo handling capacity of Korean ports, as well as port and logistics operations and the throughput of Busan, the largest South Korean and one of the largest seaport in the world. Additionally, this article shows innovation and ecology focus in the port of Busan, and primary directions of the state policy in the field of environmentally friendly growth.

    The article discusses the development of the Italian railways between 2002 and 2015, taking into account the investment expenditure allocated to the growth of this transport mode in the period under investigation, as well as within a time horizon extending until 2026. The research has been complemented by an analysis of economic conditions. The paper describes the organizational structure of the Italian national railways, namely, the FS Group and its subsidiary companies, which manage the different sectors of the supply chain, rendering various services and supporting the activities undertaken across the group. Specific trends observed in passenger and cargo transport are analysed, with highspeed railway services given special consideration.

    . The development of international cargo transportation has been relevant since the emergence of the international division of labor. Billions of tons of goods of various names, values and volumes are transported across the borders of the Russian Federation every year. This paper examines the Eurasian Economic Union international transportation system, its transport system integration, and the formation of a common transport space. The authors analyzed the international transport market state and conditions and the level of containerization. The transport system is considered the country's economy "circulatory system", which makes it a key link in the implementation of economic reforms in the country. The transport industry has social significance, which also determines the specifics of the phased market transformations. The development of international multimodal container transportation is becoming a new trend in the development of the transport service market.
