    Reklama społeczna jest szczególną formą komunikacji perswazyjnej ukierunkowaną na wykształcenie pożądanych społecznie postaw, nawyków i zachowań oraz na zaniechanie lub wyeliminowanie zachowań społecznie niepożądanych. Artykuł ma na celu ukazanie problemów społecznych współczesnej Ukrainy przez pryzmat wybranych reklam i kampanii społecznych oraz przedstawienie normotwórczej funkcji reklamy społecznej.
    Social advertising is a form of persuasive communication aimed at educating socially desirable attitudes, habits and behaviors, and on the other hand – discontinuing or eliminating socially undesirable behaviors. The article aims to show the social problems of modern Ukraine through the prism of selected social advertisements and social campaigns as well as normative function of public service announcements.

    Purpose: The article reviews the literature on the concept of Global 8 Disciplines method in the context of root cause analysis of the quality issue. Design/methodology/approach: In this paper the objective was set to prevent quality issues regarding the surface of wire rod coils. In order to achieve this, the G8D problem solving method was applied to analyze and solve the problem. Findings: G8D does improve the efficiency of quality issue problem-solving. Originality/value: G8D method application allows reducing problem analysis time and costs in the manufacturing companies.

    Purpose: The aim of the research was to identify problems and develop a way to improve the communication process between partners in the logistics process. Design/methodology/approach: By analysing complaints and interviewing employees, the most important problems in the process were identified. Thanks to the 5 Whys analysis, the root causes of the problems were then identified. Understanding the sources of problems was used to design and implement an IT system supporting communication between suppliers and the manufacturer. Findings: The use of a quality management tool has identified the causes of the problems observed. Three basic sources have been distinguished: lack of dedicated platform to contact the carrier, lack of a knowledge base about the means of transport available at carriers and lack of integration of documentation with a given carrier in the IT system. By knowing the sources of the problems, it was possible to design an efficient and effective IT system. Research limitations/implications: Improvement of the process was possible thanks to the involvement of top management and awareness of the necessity of changes by interested parties. Practical implications: As a result of the analyses, a coherent design of the IT system was developed, whose implementation ensured that problems in the process were reduced, including sending errors and invoicing errors, as well as a shortening of the average processing time for a single order. Originality/value: The implication of quality management tools to improve the logistics process.

In order to take full advantage of the potential of a multicultural team, it is necessary to integrate it and solve potential problems which are determined by its diversity. Therefore, the main aim of the article is to characterise the contemporary problems which occur in multicultural teams, based on the opinions of employees from the Upper Silesian region. Suggestions as to how they should be resolved will be further presented.

    Przedmiotem artykułu jest analiza wybranych prawnych i społecznych aspektów rozwoju regionu kujawsko-pomorskiego. Głównym celem artykułu jest opracowanie najważniejszych aspektów prawnych i społecznych, które odnoszą się do rozwoju regionu, jakim jest województwo kujawsko-pomorskie. Autorzy artykułu próbują wyjaśnić też zakres podstawowych pojęć, które są związane z rozwojem regionu a także kompetencje władz, które wynikają z przepisów prawa. Autorzy w formule badawczej próbują w pierwszej części pracy skonkretyzować uwarunkowania prawne – przepisy Unii Europejskiej, prawo krajowe i lokalne, z których wynika obowiązek rozwijania danego regionu przez władze samorządowe a także społeczności lokalne. W drugiej części autorzy opisali problemy społeczne województwa kujawsko-pomorskiego w kategoriach ilościowych i jakościowych. Celem praktyczno-wdrożeniowym jest wskazanie przykładów naprawy problemów przyjętych zwyczajowo w katalogu polityki społecznej w województwie kujawsko-pomorskim.
    The subject of the article is the analysis of legal and social aspects of the development within the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region. The main goal of the article is to describe the most important legal and social aspects that relate to the development of this region. The authors of the article are going to explain the scope of basic concepts associated with the development. They describe also the European Union regulations, national and local law with self-government authorities projects. Next they explain social issues with the region in quantitative and qualitative terms.

    The goal of this publication is to identify and characterize the typical problems with information quality on websites, and to present exemplary remedies for those problems. In this article the information quality problems within their origins, as well as the consequences of using poor-quality information by the Internet user were defined. There were also presented ways of improving information quality - which should facilitate the information needed by producers/authors and the managers/administrators of services in or to find solutions to the remaining problems. The presented varied remedies are not all possible solutions to improving quality in the area of the WWW content and its infrastructure. Broadening them requires further research on identification of new methods and tools of improving information quality in the World Wide Web.

    W tekście podjęta została próba odczytania ewolucji stanowiska europejskiej opinii publicznej wobec uchodźców jako wyrazu narastających problemów wewnętrznych samej Europy. Ukazuje ona kompromitację tradycyjnej, opartej na współczuciu, etyki Zygmunta Baumana i Alaina Finkelkrauta oraz ujawnia deficyt myślenia w kategoriach etyki odpowiedzialności globalnej rozwijanej po drugiej wojnie światowej, ale zwalczanej przez konserwatywny intelektualny establishment.
    The paper provides an attempt to elucidate the evolution of the European public’s position towards refugees as a manifestation of growing internal problems of Europe itself. It shows a fiasco of the traditional, compassion based ethics of Zygmunt Bauman and Alan Finkelkraut as well as it reveals the deficits of thinking in categories of ethics of global responsibility developed after the Second World War but fought by the conservative intellectual establishment.

    Opis:
    Purpose: The article deals with the development of the e-commerce market as a challenge for international maritime transport and shipping. The aim of the study is to analyze the current, post-andemic factors in the development of the e-commerce market and its impact on the functioning of the maritime transport and shipping market, with an indication of the synthetic implications for changes that should be introduced to improve the functioning of maritime transport, goods responding to the demand expressed on the global e-commerce market. Design/methodology/approach: The article uses the method of analyzing the literature and the method of analyzing data from public statistics on the development and functioning of the e-commerce market as well as shipping and sea transport in 2012-2020. Findings: The main factors of development and problems resulting from the development of the e-commerce market before and after the Covid 19 pandemic were identified as challenges for the transport and shipping of goods by sea. Practical implications: Organization of the supply chain in the area of targeting the development of transport services and international freight forwarding based on maritime transport and shipping. Originality/value: The value and originality of the articles results from a thorough review of the current literature on the subject and statistical data on the functioning of enterprises from the e-commerce market as well as transport and sea freight. The recipients of the results of this work may be managers and persons shaping the rules of functioning on the maritime transport and shipping market.
