Opis:
Purpose: The objective of this paper is to identify leading technologies in Industry 4.0. Design/methodology/approach: The identification was made with the use of text mining to explore the scientific texts in this field. Assumptions of own iterative method for analyzing scientific texts were proposed, with the use of R language, tokenization, lemmatization, n-grams and correspondence analysis. The assumptions of the proposed method were used to analyze the 40 most often quoted articles indexed in the Web of Science. Findings: On the basis of the obtained results, 4 leading technologies were identified. These are Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Cyber-physical System and Big Data. Originality/value: The article proposes an original method of identifying the leading technologies used in Industry 4.0. The proposed method is based on text mining and correspondence analysis.

Od czasu gdy rząd Republiki Federalnej Niemiec uznał koncepcję „Industrie 4.0” za kluczowy element strategii innowacyjnego rozwoju w 2011r., stała się ona jednym z najczęściej dyskutowanych tematów wśród niemieckich praktyków i badaczy. Oczekuje się, że skutkiem rewolucji przemysłowej 4.0 będzie skokowy wzrost efektywności przedsiębiorstw oraz powstanie nowych modeli biznesowych, usług i produktów, co zapewni Republice Federalnej światowe przywództwo w zakresie nowoczesnych technologii. Oprócz zmian w funkcjonowaniu przedsiębiorstw przemysłowych powyższa koncepcja niesie ze sobą istotne zmiany w obszarze pracy. W artykule przedstawiono główne trendy zmian w pracy produkcyjnej wynikające z implementacji koncepcji w oparciu o niemieckojęzyczną literaturę z zakresu zarządzania.
The Industrie 4.0 concept has become one of the most frequently discussed topics among practitioners and academics in Germany since the German federal government announced it as a key initiative of its high-tech strategy in 2011. It is due to the fact that Industrie 4.0 promises substantially increased operational effectiveness as well as the development of entirely new business models, services, and products which would secure German innovation leadership in the world. Apart from the changes in production plants the aforesaid idea brings significant changes in production work. The paper presents main trends in production work as a consequence of implementation of Industrie 4.0 idea based on German management literature.

Opis:
Purpose: On the basis of their own research, the authors of the article undertook to determine the factors determining future social and economic development and to develop recommendations for strengthening active economic, social and labour market policies in mining municipalities and districts in Poland – in the perspective of the "European Green Deal" plan and "Just Transition" Design/methodology: the results presented in the article were obtained on the basis of the implementation of questionnaire research, expert interviews, literature review, critical literature analysis, documentation analysis, statistical descriptive analysis. Findings: As a result of the analyses and surveys carried out, the article presents an extensive set of conclusions, the most important of which are those relating to social. The presented attempt of the prospective approach to the phenomena and processes which may result from the transformation of the hard coal mining in Poland is aimed at better understanding of the role which may be fulfilled in the future by the local self-government in the area of which the operating or disused mines and mining enterprises are located. Secondly which are related to the perspective of the hard coal mining transformation process, first of all showed terms the scale of challenges faced by mining municipalities. The indicated processes are nowadays dominated by the challenge of creating new ecological solutions of high quality both in the sphere of their social acceptance in the utilitarian dimension. It is a process that allows for a better understanding of the role of local government in the transformation process, which will probably take up, in a fragmentary way, economic, social and environmental challenges resulting from the contemporary development of economy based on knowledge and determined by the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Originality: the findings and recommendations of the study may become relevant for practitioners and researchers dealing with climate change mitigation, strategy implementation, cross-sectoral partnerships and sustainable development of transformed areas.

Opis:
Purpose: The aim of the article is to identify the challenges that are significant for the implementation of remote work in the opinion of the representatives of Generation Z in Poland. Design/methodology/approach: The implementation of the chosen goal was possible thanks to the literature review and the survey carried out among the representatives of Generation Z in Poland. The empirical part of the article presents the results of the authors' own research. The survey was conducted among representatives of the Z generation and concerned the perception of challenges related to remote work and the assessment of their impact on its implementation. Findings: Working time flexibility and remote work outside the office are becoming the norm. The conducted research allowed to identify the perception of challenges for the implementation of remote work by representatives of Generation Z in Poland. According to the respondents, the most important of them are: the necessity of technical and IT development of the organization and its resources. It is important to develop the competences of employees, both those necessary to manage remote work (virtual teams) and its implementation in accordance with the expectations of the employer. Great importance is also attached to the need to monitor remote work by the employer (implementation of the control function in management) and the development of self-control skills and self-discipline of employees. Research limitations/implications: The conducted research is one of the first in Poland and may be an inspiration for the next ones. Their limitation is the number of respondents who took part in the survey. Nevertheless, conducting them allowed to identify the perception of the challenges of implementing remote work by representatives of Generation Z in Poland. Practical implications: The awareness of the challenges related to remote work among the representatives of Generation Z allows for better preparation of the organization, both employees and managers, for the implementation of remote work. Originality/value: The value of the article is the identification of the perception of challenges for the implementation of remote work by employees of Generation Z. Research was carried out on representatives of a generation that, due to the knowledge of new technologies, seems to be prepared for remote work, and in the coming years will constitute an increasing percentage of people on the labor market (both as specialists and managers). The research shows that in order to achieve the benefits of remote work for both the employee and the employer, it is necessary to meet the challenges of working in a virtual environment. The results and conclusions of the conducted research may be useful for managers, employees and job applicants who should develop the required competences.
