- In the present article the results of the author's own research relating of job seeking were presented. The article makes up a presentation of outcome of some part of the author's research project in the field of unemployment and methods of looking for job. The research was made in 2013. The research objective was identification of relations between place of residence and evaluation of factors facilitating and/or making it difficult to find job, evaluation of characteristics of easier-to-find or more difficult-to-find jobs, methods of looking for job as well as assessment of the phenomenon of 'friends-in-high-places' and support. As part of the studied issues the author tried to answer the following questions: Is there a relationship between a place of residence and evaluation of factors facilitating and/or making it difficult to find job? Is there a relation between a place of residence and evaluation of characteristics of easier-to-find or more difficult-to-find jobs? Is there a relation between a place of residence and methods of looking for job, including the use of 'friends-in-high-places' and support?
