On the one hand, we can see the common process of stylistic lowering of speech, on the other hand, stylistic lowering is accompanied by disappearing of high stylistic speech. Metalinguistic utterances become the base of the new analysis methodic of stylistic materiał, complimentary to traditional methods.

Communicative stylistics is a new field of modem functional stylistics and it is formed on the basis of other sciences, which study text as a form of communication and phenomenon of idiostyle. In contrast to linguistics oftext and linguistic poetics communicativestylistics studies text in respect to author and addressee's activity. Unlike pragmatics, psycholinguistics, psychopoetics, which are guided by the theory of speech activities, communicative stylistics concems linguistic-stylistic aspects of intercourse speech in theirtextual realization. And at the same time a research of structural and semantic text organization in the view of communicative effect is considered as analysis caused by some factors such as stylistic usage and author's idiostyle. Activities approach in the context ofcommunicative stylistics is connected with its examination as a fact ofinitial communicative author's activity and an object of secondary communicative reader's activity. The aim of communicative stylistics is to work up the problems of efficacy of author and addressee'stextual activity taking into account specific character of language person, field of intercourse, aim and tasks, genre and style peculiarities of text. In accord with anthropocentric approach to text idiostyle is considered as a dominant notion and it gets another communicative sense. This notion contains multifold demonstration of author's language person in the structure, semantics and pragmatics of text. The ąuestions of normalization in text activity are considered as the main problem of communicative stylistics. A new aspect of this problem is that it is connected with efficacy intercourse of author and reader. Taking into consideration bilateral character of communication (initial and secondary communicative activity which is connected with text formation and text perception and interpretation) textual norm is regarded as an important factor for dialogic intercourse of author and addressee, which shows a standard of textual activ ity for a certain sphere of communication. Textual nom1 is defined as follows: 1 ) it is firm rules of textual activity which are prevalent historically and accepted by a society; standard texts for a certain sphere of communication are fom1ed on the bas is of these rules; 2) it is a system of communicative- pragmatic, genre and style, composition and speech norms, which is proper for a certain type of text and it shows its communicative essence, linguistic character and extralinguistic orientation; 3) it is a harmonious organization of all structural elements of text in accord with the basie idea of author and direction of attention toward addressee.This notion of textual norm takes into account a complex of the following factors: 1) place of text in the structure of universal model of speech communication by Roman O. Jakobson; 2) levels of model of language person which is out of text according to the theoryof Yurij N. Karaulov; 3) communicative characteristics of speech which text must meet the requirements; 4) the main features and characteristics of text. ln spite of their stability textual nom1s are historically changed and varied depending on the type oftext (mainly itdepends on its genre and style peculiarities, sphere of communication, literary school which author follows) and author's intention and addressee's factor.

The article contains the description of the main trends in the researches of the schoolars of Perm school of functional stylistics based on the programms of speech lingustics and fundamental principles offunctional stylistics, which were worked out by M. N. Kozhina. The author analyses the basie concepts of the school which include the evolution of the main ideas of the functional stylistic, worked out by M. N.Kozhina, as the basis and pattern for further researches. The author also examines the works of Kozhina' s followers (E. A. Bazhenova, N. V. Dfanilevskaya, L. R. Duskaeva, M. P. Kotiurova, V. A. Salimovskii, T. B. Trosheva and other). These works present the researches of the dynamism of text formation in scientific sphere with the use of the interdisciplinary approach, (with is connected with the psychology of thought and speech, theory of science, cognitology). They also include the analysis of the textual categories of dial o gie, accentuational, hypothetical concepts the problems of genreformatio, interaction of sender and addressee in communicative cognitive process, and the problems of the historical stylistic.

In the article, the role of the artistic style as one of the major componens of the Ukrainian linguo-culture has been stressed. The writers’ language-creative practice has been qualified as an important factor in the national literary language development and as a criterion of the literary norm formation. As for the latter, two major kinds of writers’ impact are noted – structural-expanding and cutting, aimed at improvement. In this context, the concept of norm arises as an actual parameter to determine the level of correlation of both literary language and language of fiction.

On the paper the conception of a rhetorical device (RD), suggested in the author's previous publications is being developed. The RD means a deliberate and pragmatically motivated deviation from different varieties of the norm, which is regarded too widely asan onthological category. The onthological typology of the norms and the corresponding typology of RD are constructed on the basis of a fragmentation of the «naive world picture», which is given not by philosophical theory, but is drawn directly from the whole complex of the texts that served as a matter to research (mostly anecdotes, some Russian folk tałes, fantasy and post-modemistic fiction). As a result of the research some particular onthologies and corresponding RD types were pointed out and new terms suggest. Besides the RD classification on the onthological basis the author offers the idea that the most important significance for rhetorics is their operational classification which could disclose the system of principles (mechanisms) of RD construction. This idea is being illustrated by the examples of RD which are organized according to the principles of economy, redundancy and contamination. In addition to what is said above the paper gives a systematical characterization of the elocutive devices inherent to the genre of newspaper anecdotes.

Variability of the poetic norm in the context of globalization and nationally oriented processes, corresponding as two parts o f modem creation o f culture, currently prevails. 1 he main conseąuence o f globalization in Ukrainian lingual creative practice at the end o f the twentieth and beginning of twenty-first century, and the poetry o f New York Group, are the rethinking and renewal o f the traditional lexical-and-semantic paradigms as paradigms relating to image and text creation, making an effort to place Ukrainian poetry in the context of the broadest expanse o f world literaturę. Nationally oriented processes lead to an increase attention to the lingual-and-aesthetic signs of national culture and to the verbalization the national-and-philosophical idea.

The study deals with the topic of stylistic norms which have the character of tendencies in expressing particular types of messages. They are less binding than linguistic norms, although they do exist, and the creator as well as the receptor of texts are intuitively aware of them. They are shaped analogically, like linguistic norms, in the process of the creation of texts; and they are acquired in a similar way by generalization on the basis of previously known texts linked to a communicational situation. The process of the acquisition of stylistic norms is never finished because (in contrast to linguistic norms) the sources of their identification are very diverse, and their repertoire develops throughout the whole human life. In the study the author tries to present their general characterization, and consequently to characterize these norms for the traditionally mentioned primary and secondary functional styles. Even though the paper proceeds from the Czech situation and from the understanding of style and stylistics common in Czech linguistics, these are general norms applicable to the situation in various cultural environments, at least in the European cultural area.

The paper presents the critical review of sociolinguistic investigations, in particular in the field of social typology of language variants. The author considers such conflicting problems of sociolinguistic classifications of language changes as the lack of exact use of the notion “the language”, the intersection of different classification criteria and the lack of one way of dividing, contradiction as well as incompleteness of the classification. Some categories of social language distinctness, for example the opposition of written and spoken language, are also objects of criticism. The author arranges the linguistic no- menclature, in particular he introduces two opposite categories: informal language/spe- ech as a functional style and ordinary/colloquial language/speech as one of sociolects. The author proposes his own classification of language variants, which leans on two criteria: subjective or functional proprieties of language variants. In this way, following the example of the natural binary Gray codę, the matrix of language changes is generated, where nine categories can be distinguished. The proposed model of language variants can also be applied to the description of multilingual situations.

Opis:
The article documents cases of grammatical, phonetic and lexical “irregularities” occurring in modern Russian. The conclusions are based on analysis of the National Corpus of the Russian Language and internet queries. The author pays special attention to phrases indicating time relations: “for some time” / “after what time”. It is noted that there is an “older” and “younger” standard for using collocations with the lexeme „time” and prepositions, and the change in the norm resulted from the transition from treating space-time as an abstract, uniform chronotope to the idea of time as a discrete quantity, i.e. certain fragmented, countable sections (century, year, month, day, hour, minute, second). Research has shown that discrete forms denoting time began to dominate from the mid-nineteenth century, which is related to the changes in the image of the world taking place at that time. The old ways of speaking about time, however, still appear in modern Russian. The article shows that other lexical and inflectional archaisms (e.g. short forms of adjectives) are also returning to modern speech. This can be considered a manifestation of social linguistic memory, which involves having the ability to recall and use old forms or meanings, according to norms that used to be applied in the past. The author proposes that this phenomenon be called “spontaneous recurrence of the norm”. It is claimed that such recurrence of the old norm may be caused either by speakers’ ignorance of the current norm or by their desire for a “retro” style that results from fashion or manners. It could also be a manifestation of “language refreshment” through the activation of speech memory, or retrieving former forms and old standards out of the “subconscious” of language users.

The article confirms that Taras Shevchenko is the creator and founder of the new Ukrainian literary language. His language use promoted the establishment and advance- ment of the literary norm in the word usage, word formation, the functioning of grammatical forms and syntax constructions, as well as in the word emphasis, in the fixed tone of the intonation in the Ukrainian language, etc. One of the criteria for literary norm is the influence of a recognized writer who establishes the aesthetic content of the literary norm. Shevchenko’s writings are marked by occasional use of alternative forms, lack of spelling consistency, and differences in word usage as compared to the modern literary standards. Despite this, the forms consistent with the literary standards prevail. The linguistic and aesthetic canons of Shevchenko’s writing were definitive in promoting stability and common usage of the literary norm. The linguistic and aesthetic canons of Shevchenko’s poetry combine specific sensory means of verbalized real and idealized life in dialogues and monologues of lyrical and narrative texts. The phenomenon of addressing a third party or self actualizes lexical, phraseological, and grammar units that convey an intimate relationship to everything arising inside a poet’s imagination, provoking thought, calling for self-expression. The aesthetic process encompasses the activities of a human life, the national history symbols, the beauty of nature, humans, means of expressing the dynamics of human feelings. The author’s thoughts and emotions influence the reader not only through the depiction of society and everyday life, the usage of national and linguistic symbols, or content common to all human beings, by also through frequent usage of objective structures and linguistic forms. The law of analogy provides that these forms are valuable in the context of symbolic, ideal literary norm.The linguistic and aesthetic canon of Shevchenko’s poetry expands the function of folk and spoken elements as sources for creating poetic forms within the stylistic paradigm of the modern Ukrainian language. The spoken emotional and expressive structures elevated by the high poetry diversify poetic expression and provide detailed images for abstract notions.   511
