Opis:: This paper proposes a contextualization of the didactic comic book Aguinha!! De Cabo Verde às Canárias... e vice-versa. The comic book in question emerged as part of the institutional project financed by European funds, but at the plot level it hides any explicit affinities with Europe. For this reason, we chose to analyze the contents of the book in the transinsular order and to draw both on the concept of environmental education and on border thinking. It is also proposed to frame this comic book as a complementary, non-autonomous didactic material.

Opis:: Before Captain Haddocks’ and Professor Calculus’ appearance in "The Crab with the Golden Claws" (eighth album, 1941) and "Red Rackham’s Treasure" (eleventh album, 1944) Tintin doesn’t have strong links with the other characters. His youth, dynamism and resourcefulness are his only characteristics – he has no past, no name, no family, no occupational ties. The two new friends Hergé gives him provide the last ten albums of The Adventures more consistency, humor, and a proper space which were missing until then.

Opis:: The main purpose of the article is to present analysis of comic book Nô Pintcha which – as we state – is the exceptional example of visual representation of theory of education from period of early independence of former portuguese colonies in Africa. Nô Pintcha was published in 1978 during the summit of ministers of education and educators from Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau, Mozambique and São Tomé. Authors of Nô Pintcha considered comic book as a apendix to the basic literacy campaign in Guinea Bissau. Theory of education which was used during literacy campaign had origins of emancipatory popular education of Paulo Freire. Thus the analysis presented in this paper lies parallely in looking for the Nô Pintcha in perspective of comic book theory as well in looking for traces Freire’s theory.
