- The aim of this paper is to present the implications of the right to work which contribute to the protection of the good of the human being. One part of the article is the analysis of our existence in this world and the way our lives fulfil the divine plan. Some examples given here are the possibility of contributing to the process of the on-going creation of our world and the redemptive dimension of labour in the context of the Paschal Mystery. People live according to God’s plan by perfecting their nature and practising the principle of magnanimity. Hence, one can be sanctified by the toil of labour. One’s professional activity is considered a good by making this development possible. It should be then fostered by such human communities as the family, the state and international organisations. The phenomenon of the unemployment, when it comes to the right to work, is an adverse circumstance and it afflicts both the individual and the whole society. Therefore, the state and other institutions should do their best to create such economic conditions which would provide for the full employment. This is the only way to prevent to a large extent the process of the marginalisation of the social groups deprived of the possibility to earn money for living.
