Transport system - Opis:
- In the paper an innovation approach to modelling and coordination of intermodal network is given. The main aim of the carried out research was to create the solution, which would eliminate existing barriers concerning development on intermodal haulages. Moreover, created solution takes into consideration strong relations between actors involved in transport processes and the transport system of the region/country. Based on the carried out direct interviews and series of workshops with the industry, the need for coordinated and innovative approach to the intermodal issues were identified. Coordination applies to all intermodal processes executed by group of interested, independent companies, organisation of business and public administration. The aim of the paper is to present the concept of the polish intermodal cluster carried out by the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing in Poznan based on the real market expectations.
