Opis:: Transport market joins suppliers of carriage and consumers of these services. However, it does not always function according to the terms of classic market competition, as there are subject on the market which function on special principles and have extraordinary needs and as such require a specific treatment. Both non-government organisations (NGO) and public services which perform transport orders belong in that group. Social expectations forces these organisations to behave in a certain way, which can be a subject to either theoretical or practical research. The transport market itself and its characteristics should be studied as well, for the conditions in which the transportation orders are carried out determines their success rate and quality. A moderately balanced transport market is such a market in which all the specific objectives can be fulfilled. The point of the research on behaviour of NGOs and public services on the moderately balanced transport market is to indicate the areas of convergence and diversification of the actions of the subjects. Comparative research of behaviour shows vast similarities, nonetheless the different basis of functioning immensely differentiates their market attitude. The comparative analysis as an essential method of research also allows specification of roles, which both groups of subjects have on the moderately balanced transport market. Public services behave in a way, which is typical of dominant downmarket collective public transport operators. However, NGOs market behaviour generates value added in the form of creation a special transport offer for groups which demand public assistance. Hence, the wide spectrum of behaviour, which allows to verify hitherto existing models of economic stratification of enterprises.

Opis:: The paper presents the issues the public sector demand for rail freight services in Poland. Tenders have been characterized in terms of: the type of load, the size of the re-quests in the volume of transport work and the results of tender procedures. The article contains an analysis of the share of the transport volume purchased in auctions. As a result, it was found that it may play important role in shaping the behavior of market actors on highly concentrated freight transport market.

Opis:: Przedmiotem opracowania jest charakterystyka mechanizmu funkcjonowania rynków transportowych w UE, postrzeganego w kontekście współczesnych wyzwań, jakie wynikają z konieczności: 1) budowy Jednolitej Europejskiej Przestrzeni Transportowej (JEPT), 2) realizacji strategii zrównoważonego rozwoju transportu, 3) sprostania wymogom rozwoju logistyki. Celem opracowania jest próba dokonania oceny mechanizmu funkcjonowania tego typu rynków jako regulatorów sfery realnej transportu. W artykule przedstawiono i scharakteryzowano każde z wyzwań regulacyjnych, wskazując, iż sprostanie im wymaga dokonania wielu zmian w mechanizmie funkcjonowania rynków transportowych. Podkreślono, że zmiany te można wprowadzić wyłącznie za pomocą mechanizmu regulacji publicznej sektora TSL. Wykazano tym samym, że wyzwania te mają w istocie charakter długookresowych wyzwań strukturalnych i powinny być realizowane w sferze rynków transportowych za pomocą narzędzi polityki transportowej.
In the paper its author has characterized the mechanism of functioning of transport markets in the EU, perceived in the context of contemporary challenges that arise from the need to: 1) building the Single European transport Area (SETA), 2) putting into effect the strategy of sustainable transport development 3) meeting the requirements of the development of logistics and SCM concept. The main aim of the paper is to make an attempt to evaluate of such a kind markets mechanism as a regulators of the real sphere of transport sector. It has been presented and described all of these challenges, indicating that meeting all of them requires making many vital changes in the existing mechanism of the European transport markets. It has been stressed that these changes can be efficiently put into practice only by the mechanism of the public regulation of the transport system. It has been emphasized, too, that these challenges have, in fact, the regulatory nature and they should be implemented in the sphere of the EU transport markets mainly by transport policy measures.

Opis:: he article attempts to organize published in different sources of topics related to the organization, size and perspective of development sailor's market. Analysis of the data on the volume of demand, the volume of supply, market imbalances (current and a future) showed that the market structure resembles a model of perfect competition. Unified qualifications of seafarers make it (particularly in assistant and operational positions) that employment is determined by wage. At the management level positions decide other factors (law, cultural circle). The fact that more than half the fleet is among the OECD countries opens the Polish officer and universities prospects for future.

The content of the publication is devoted to the problem of sustainable transport with the aim of identifying and assessing the prerequisites for using bonds in the implementation of the concept of sustainable transport, with a simultaneous illustration of previous experience in the subject of the study. The article presents the essence of the concept of sustainable transport, discusses selected problems related to its implementation and presents the current market experience.

Opis:: W artykule wykazano wpływ wartości ropy Brent na ceny oleju napędowego w okresie obejmującym pierwsze dziewięć miesięcy 2014 roku. Omówione w kolejnej części opracowania standardowe i azjatyckie opcje kupna o europejskim stylu wykonania posłużyły do budowy strategii zabezpieczających przed niekorzystnymi ruchami cen paliw silnikowych. W celu dostarczenia informacji o skuteczności tych strategii, porównano koszty, jakie musiałby zapłacić nabywca poszczególnych rodzajów opcji. Zestawienie wartości premii opcyjnych o różnych terminach wygaśnięcia i zmieniającej się cenie wykonania opcji pozwoliło określić wpływ tych parametrów na ceny omawianych instrumentów pochodnych.
The article shows the impact of the Brent Crude Oil for diesel prices during the period covering the first 9 months in 2014. The standard and Asian call options with European-style, described in the next part of this paper, were used for building strategy to hedge against negative movements in the price of motor fuel. To provide information about the effectiveness of these strategies, the authors compared the costs that buyer of different types of options would have to pay. Values of premium options, with different expiry dates and the changing price of the options, allowed to determine the effect of these parameters on the prices of these derivatives.

Niniejsze zmiany na rynku pracy w sektorze skłaniają do analizy czynników, w bezpośredni sposób wpływających na wdrażanie działań o charakterze CSR. Obecnie przedsiębiorstwa funkcjonujące w sektorze TSL, ze względu na zmianę polaryzacji rynku pracy, z rynku pracy pracodawcy na rynek pracy pracownika, zaczynają dostrzegać konieczność stosowania zaleceń koncepcji CSR, szczególnie w aspekcie podejmowania odpowiednich działań w zakresie zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi.
The dynamically changing labor market in the TSL sector directly shapes changes in attitudes of employers and business owners in the direction of necessity to implement the areas of corporate social responsibility to the organizational life of the company. Changes on the sector labor market leads to the analysis of the issue in terms of the verification of the factors that have a direct impact on the implementation of activities in the area of a CSR. Today, companies operating in the TSL sector, due to the change in polarization of the labor market, from the employers labor market through the employee labor market, are beginning to recognize the need for following the recommendations of the CSR concept especially in the aspect of taking appropriate action in the field of human resources management.
