    Opis:
    Celem niniejszego artykułu, który ma charakter teoretyczno-empiryczny, było przedstawienie rodziny (wielkomiejskiej/dużego miasta) jako rudymentarnego środowiska życia, rozwoju oraz socjalizacji i wychowania dzieci, kształtującego jakość ich dzieciństwa. Rodzina wielkomiejska poprzez swoją specyfikę (fakt zamieszkiwania w dużym mieście, jego charakterystyka) wydaje się stwarzać dzieciom korzystne dla ich dzieciństwa warunki rozwojowo-wychowawcze. Zostały one w artykule nazwane i scharakteryzowane. Wyniki badań empirycznych stanowią omówienie warunków edukacyjnych, jakie stwarza dzieciom środowisko rodzinne (troska rodziców o edukację szkolną i pozaszkolną dziecka). Podjęta także została próba typologizacji dzieciństwa w badanych rodzinach.
    In its theoretical and empirical approach, the article discusses a (big city) family as a living environment providing conditions for development, socialisation and education of children which determine the quality of their childhood. A big-city family, through its particular characteristics, seems to create favourable conditions for development and education of children. They are identified and described in the article. The results of empirical research refer to educational conditions created by families (parental involvement in both in-school and after-school education). The article attempts to provide typology of childhood in the examined families.

    Opis:
    Celem podjętej refleksji jest uzupełnienie wiedzy o związkach zachodzących między pedagogiką opiekuńczą a pedagogiką rodziny, a także pomiędzy ich metodykami i praktyką. Sformułowano następujące problemy badawcze: Czy i jakie związki zachodzą między pedagogiką opiekuńczą a pedagogiką rodziny? Jaki jest stan naukowy tych subdyscyplin, biorąc pod uwagę lata 2008-2018 oraz perspektywy rozwoju? Realizacja celu jest ujęta w procesie wywodu, na który składa się wprowadzenie w zagadnienie, ukazanie rozumienia zaprezentowanych treści, a także związków zachodzących między pedagogiką opiekuńczą i pedagogiką rodziny. Ukazano specyfikę ich uprawiania, rozumienia kategorii treściowych, rozwijania, a także formy kształcenia w uczelniach wyższych w Polsce. Należy eksplorować podjęty temat i zaplanować dalsze badania naukowe. Pedagogika opiekuńcza i pedagogika rodziny mają wspólny obszar zainteresowań. Badacze mogą więc i powinni współpracować ze sobą i wykorzystywać nowe wyniki.
    The aim of the research is to complete the knowledge of relations between pedagogy of caring and pedagogy of family, and theirs methodologies and practices. Comparative analyses refer to years 2008-2018 and future development perspectives. The following research issues have been formulated: do the relations between pedagogy of caring and pedagogy of family exist, and if they do, what are they? What is the scientific condition of the analyzed subdisciplines, regarding years 2008-2018 and development perspectives? The reflection is a study of the literature. The aim of the article is fulfilled in the process of argumentation, which consists of: the introduction of the issue and the presentation of its understanding. Next the relations between pedagogy of caring and pedagogy of family are presented. The presented analysis indicates the scientific achievements collected in years 2008-2018 in both of the pedagogy subdyscyplines. The paper presents specifics of their practices, understanding – contents categories, development and forms of academic education in Poland. Furtherer exploration of the undertaken topic is needed, as well as a corresponding research. Pedagogy of caring and pedagogy of family share the field of interests. Consequently researchers can and should cooperate and utilize shared research results.

    Opis:
    On pages of chosen Warsaw social-cultural magazines published in the 19th and at the beginning of the 20th century, as: "Ivy", "Literary Feast" whether "Family Chronicle", referred particularly to women of the intellectual origin, columnists made an attempt to make aware of the Polish society in the matters of the care and bringing up children and teenagers. Very frequent issues formed in the press were associated with philanthropic institutions and undertakings being supposed to save poor countrymen, especially children before the corruption and the poverty. They were supposed to enable them to get the profession and the work. On columns of magazines an operations of individual branches of charity societies were propagated and they were indicating, how to act in difficult practical life situations. Quite a lot of place was connected with bringing children and teenagers up, home teaching, assortment of appropriate books, holiday rest, correct feeding and for dressing. They also kept an eye on articles concerning the emotional side and the issues of the social solidarity and the help the poorest. In this way a knowledge of the society increased. An awareness of Poles enhanced itself. The Polish reader captured knowledge from the press, how social and behavioral problems were being solved abroad. Articles had moralizing character and depended only on very interested people, whether they will use the knowledge called for in the press.
