Opis:
Presently a lot of countries carry out aviation tests of Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast ADB-S). The on-board GPS receiver is used as a basic source of information on position and time for that system. According to the CNS/ATM plan, traditional radars using by ATC will be replaced for ADB-S in the near future. One the vital elements of the system is Global Navigational Satellite System (GNSS). According to the project a research team is going to work out an aviation tracking system for control an air traffic and ground movement in the border area. Moreover, the team will examine the system in the areas of accuracy, range of tracking and reliability as well. The proposed system consists of three basic components: the positioning, airborne GNSS receivers, the transmission of data and the ground station. The research plan is carried out taking into account a variety of air operations, such as a takeoff, a route on a low height, approaching and landing. The idea of monitoring system for aircraft using satellite navigation systems is in line witch the concept of the use of GNSS in aviation, both in Europe and worldwide.

Opis:
The paper deal with testing of different GNSS measurement methods in highly accurate network for the objectives engineering surveying. The test is comprised of a set of measurement acquired by particular GNSS methods with different observation length. For purposes of the test, an appropriate network of five points in local system was created and accurately trigonometrically measured. The result of testing is a comparison of individual methods in position using two dimensional congruent transformation and in height using one dimensional congruent transformation.

Nowadays GNSS/RTK positioning is a very efficient technique for determination of coordinates especially when it is based on permanent reference stations. It allows every land surveyor to do his work easily and efficiently. However there are some situations when the use of RTK technique makes some difficulties, especially if the GNSS receiver has no full availability for satellites. It is well know that obstructions caused by tress, buildings, power lines etc., limit satellites availability. In those situations gross errors can appear. In order to avoid misleading coordinates occurring we can use more than one receiver has no full availability for satellites. In Order to avoid misleading coordinates occurring we can use more than one receiver. The paper presents practical tests and description of the GNSS/RTK technology based on the simultaneous use of three different GNSS receivers for the specific control points. Three different GNSS/RTK receivers can be placed on a special mounting beam and additionally RTK positions are send in real-time to a computer. The software on the computer analyses not only the precision but also the accuracy of determined RTK positions. In effects that solution can allow obtaining reliable coordinates even if observational GNSS conditions are very severe.

In this paper a new approach for GNSS carrier-phase data processing is presented. This approach is based on some properties of Amtoiguity Function Method. New algorithm ensures the condition of integer ambiguities without necessity of cornputing it explicitly. The condition of "integerity" of the ambiguities is ensured through inserting condition eouations in the functional model of adjustment problem. An appropriate, differentiable function for the condition equations is proposed. Some numerical problems connected with new approach were resolved using variable linear combinations of GNSS signals in cascade adjustment algorithm.

The GNSS RTK-Networks have been aroused a great interest for the advantages in the surveying of the territory in comparison to the traditional RTK methodology. The DISTART in the last year has improved a Network for RTK positioning. At present the net is composed by 8 permanent stations. The control centre is nearby the Department of DISTART of Bologna University. This network is fundamental to investigate all aspects concerning the networks for real time applications. Particularly, not only the topographic feature is investigated, but a very important aspect concerning the data transmission infrastructure is analyzed. In fact the first experimentations demonstrated that the performance of the topographic network depends on the guarantee of a correct data transmission from the GNSS permanent stations to the Control Centre. To investigate on this field we built a network composed by mixed physical data transmission infrastructure between control centre and the permanent stations on the territory (topographic baselines about 70-80 Km) using university Italian network (GARR) and commercial networks. We studied the time of latency of data transmitted, that is an important aspect of the network, because to solve ambiguities every software for real time network solution needs that the GNSS permanent station observations arrives with a latency not too much greater than a second. Parallely we studied other important aspects of the data transmission in the network like the NAPs (Network Access Protocols), the velocities, the data formats (RTCM 2.X, RTCM 3.0). In this work we want to give the direction to characterize a procedure step by step of a network installation, wit h the purpose to define a standard, possibly certified, about procedures, materials, softwares to use to install a network of GNSS permanent stations for RTK positioning.

Recent advances in GPS-technology (GNSS) enable hydrographic surveyors to capture the topography of the bottom and the water surface with even more accuracy. Faculty of Geodesy, University of Zagreb, recently acquired the latest technology for performing the precise hydrographic surveying: Trimble R8 GNSS receiver that is going to be used with already used echo sounding equipment. The GSM signals are used for transmitting corrections from the base station to the rover. Thus, it is possible to use single-frequency DESO 14 for two-frequencies bathymetry through repeating the course of the vessel on exactly the same points with both transducers. It is expected that the new technology shall yield more accurate results and increase measurement speed, because the OTF times should be significantly shortened.

Opis:
The paper presents models, parameters and assumptions concerning Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) and Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data processing, which will be conducted in the frame of a project concerning comparison of the site coordinates determined using these two techniques. The analysis will be performed by two research units: the Space Research Center (Polish Academy of Science) and the Center of Applied Geomatics (Military University of Technology) and will take into account the data from all global stations adopting SLR and GNSS techniques that were operating in the same time (from 1996 to 2011). The main goal is to obtain exact coordinates and their changes in time (velocities) on the basis of both techniques and to compare the results. The stations’ coordinates will be determined for the common reference epoch - for the first day of each month. According to the recommendations of the Global Geodetic Observing System (GGOS), the same models and parameters from IERS Conventions 2010 will be used in both processing strategies (if possible). Monthly orbital arcs for laser observations will be created on the basis of solutions from several SLR sites providing best quality results and the highest number of observations. For GNSS coordinates determination of about 100 sites belonging to International GNSS Service (IGS) will be selected: 30 with local ties to SLR sites and others chosen on the basis of their localization and quality of time series.
