    Opis:
    Where else, if not “in a text”, can two bright minds, or two writers, meet? Is it possible for two intellectuals who engage in a dialogue to understand each other without appropriation, i.e. without constantly borrowing from each other and commenting on each other’s ideas? This essay is an attempt at answering these questions by using the unique relation between Hélène Cixous and Jacques Derrida as an example. The friendship between these two is based on efforts to understand each other’s thoughts and writings – but all this is not without respect for each other’s singularity, sovereignty and intimacy.

    Opis:
    Liberature, the literary project created by Zenon Fajfer and Katarzyna Bazarnik, is usually read from the material perspective, which emphasizes the formal qualities of a work. The article tries to choose a different path. Firstly, it constructs the figure of a secret as the unrevealed foundation of Fajfer’s books. Secondly, it proposes to read this secret in the Marano mode. Hence, the secret of Marano, a Jew who has to conceal his own identity, supported by Jacques Derrida’s observations, becomes a departure point for a new hermeneutic model.

    This paper is an attempt to recapitulate the main themes in Jacques Derrida’s thought on the university. The author focuses on The University without Condition (presented for the first time in 1998). The paper briefly recounts the philosopher’s involvement in educational institutions (GREPH, Collège International de Philosophie). Next, there is an analysis of the distinction between the future (futur) and the future-to-come (l’avenir), as well as the related opposition between profession (profession) and craft/trades (métier). The strategy of conceiving the university as the topolitical place of resistance is revealed using Derrida’s deconstruction of the repeater figure (agrégé-répétiteur). The paper ends by presenting an analogy between the condition of structural atheism and the obligation of the university to create a possibility for an event (beyond the constative/performative opposition).

    The aim of this text is to present an attempt at the deconstructionist interpretation of Czesław Miłosz’s verse ‘Dar’ (‘Gift’). On the one hand, this paper emphasizes the moment of ‘dissemination’ of the literary work – the space between the title and ‘the rest’ of the text (which appeals more to the American deconstructionism) is seen as both a connection and an irreducible gap. On the other hand, this ‘dissemination’ is understood in terms offered by J. Derrida’s philosophy of gift. Miłosz used a word ‘gift’ in the title, but in the ‘textual corpus’ he made this donation ‘imperceptible’. This observation enables the Author to interpret Miłosz’s poem in the context of Derrida’s discourse of (im)possibility of gift. Consequently the title will be understood here as a gift to the text (the gift of meaning to the experience described there), but at the same time this gift/title will be seen as irreducibly separated from the ‘rest’ of the text, because of the relation between the title and the ‘textual corpus’.
