    Opis:
    The article addresses the problem of forecasting the number of housing units delivered in Poland in 2010-2017 on the basis of primary data obtained from the Central Statistical Office in the context of social security. First, an analysis and evaluation of the time series in question was made. Subsequently, the analysed time series was divided into two segments. On the basis of the evaluation, forecasting was performed with various methods for the first part of the time series of the number of housing units completed in Poland, which consisted of 84 elements, and then the best forecasting method was selected. On the basis of that method, forecasting of the primary time series (consisting of 96 elements) of the number of housing units completed in Poland in 2010- 2017 was performed retrospectively for 2018.

    Opis:
    Purpose: The purpose of this article is to explain the process of military personnel reconversion, as well as to assess its impact on the improvement of the social security of soldiers discharged from professional military service as a result of the restructuring of the armed forces. Method: The scientific methods used in the paper include: analysis and criticism of the literature on the subject, as well as logical analysis and construction. The research was carried out on the basis of data on the Polish Armed Forces. Results: Analysis of the available sources allows for a thesis that reconversion of military personnel may have a significant impact on the improvement of the social security of military professionals and the condition of the armed forces, provided that the organizational and legal conditions are fully adapted to its needs. Conclusions: Currently, reconversion of military personnel is carried out under optimal conditions and has the appropriate organizational potential and legal basis to secure the restructuring process of the Polish Armed Forces.

    W niniejszym artykule podjęto próbę analizy wpływu ubóstwa energetycznego w aspekcie energii cieplnej na poziom bezpieczeństwa społecznego (polskich gospodarstw domowych), będącego sprawdzianem i miernikiem poziomu bezpieczeństwa energetycznego. Zagadnienie to przedstawione jest w trzech aspektach: – próba wyjaśnienia pojęcia ubóstwa energetycznego; – czynniki wpływające na poziom ubóstwa energetycznego w wymiarze energii cieplnej; – konsekwencje ubóstwa energetycznego na poziom bezpieczeństwa gospodarstw domowych. W celu głębszego ukazania problemu, posłużono się badawczą metodą ankietową oraz analityczno-syntetyczną.
    This paper attempts to analyze the impact of energy poverty in terms of heat energy on the level of social security of Polish households being a sample and an indicator of the level of energy security. The issue is presented in three aspects: – Attempt to explain the concept of energy poverty; – Factors affecting the level of energy poverty in terms of heat energy; – How consequences of energy poverty influence the level of social security. To deepen the problem, the research was carried out using survey and analytical-synthetic methods.

    The tools of exerting soft power constitute an effective instrument of information warfare conducted by intelligence services of many countries. The Russian disinformation machine, as well as other methods it uses in information warfare, seem to be effective in destabilising other countries' security and defence systems. Purpose: The purpose of this article is to bring to the attention the social engineering attack on the President of the Republic of Poland that took place either immediately after or at the final stage of the election in Poland. Method: The article was designed using the problem-based method with elements of comparative analysis. The research part was carried out using the method of critical analysis of academic literature on the topic of using soft power for achieving political goals. Results: The article presents an analysis of a recent attack by Russian pranksters on the President of Poland. It has been shown that this incident should be viewed as a dangerous manifestation of the information game played by Russia. Information about the attack was provided by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The analysis of the content of the President's conversation with the pranksters posted on Russian portals prove the existence of a real information warfare against the security of the Polish state, aimed at destabilisation of the defence system of our country. The call made by the Russian pranksters fits into the Russian strategy of exerting soft power. Conclusions: The action taken by the Russian pranksters can certainly be regarded as an example of information warfare aimed at weakening the state security system and its defence capabilities. The provocative conversation between the Russian pranksters and the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, was criticised by mass media, which accused the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the President's Chancellery of neglect in terms of ensuring the safety of the Polish head of state. Such accusations against those responsible for the president's safety seem to be justified.
