Opis:: Przedstawiono na tle rozważań teoretycznych, wyniki autorskich badań potrzeb i preferencji podróżnych na rynku kolejowych regionalnych przewozów pasażerskich oraz percepcji jakości ofert na tym rynku. W badaniach wykorzystano metodę SERVQUAL, dostosowując ją do specyfiki usług transportowych.
The paper presents results of author's tests concerning passenger preferences and perception of offer quality for regional railway service. The results are discussed on the base of theoretical considerations. The SERVQUAL method adopted specifically for transport service was applied in the tests.

Opis:: The subject of the article is the analysis of solutions and applications of modern information and communication technologies (ICT) in urban centers and the measurement of transport quality indicators, taking into account the requirements of the ISO 37120 standard: Sustainable cities and communities – indicators for city services and quality of life. The article consists of two parts. In part I of the article, the subject of smart cities was introduced, including the functioning concepts of smart city. A description of the shaping of urban spaces and the quality of life in the smart aspect was made, taking into account the issues of sustainable development. The characteristics of the ISO 37120 standard, used to measure the level of services and living conditions in cities, are presented. The basic and auxiliary indicators in the field of city services and quality of life, including those related to transport, were presented. Polish cities that received the smart city certificate were listed. At the end of part I, there was a review of experiences and solutions that improve mobility that operate in selected cities around the world and in Europe.

Opis:: Przedstawiono charakterystykę układu transportowego województwa pomorskiego oraz rolę i funkcje transportu kolejowego na tle innych rodzajów transportu. Zdefiniowano podstawowy układ linii kolejowych, niezbędny do prowadzenia regionalnych przewozów pasażerskich na terenie województwa oraz nakreślono potencjalne możliwości odbudowy infrastruktury na wybranych odcinkach sieci. Na podstawie badan potoków podróżnych określono kierunki rozwoju transportu kolejowego w województwie, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem obszaru ciążącego do metropolii Trójmiasta. Zaproponowano poziomy obsługi na poszczególnych liniach kolejowych województwa pomorskie.go, z określeniem liczby par pociągów oraz taboru trakcyjnego, z założeniem pełnego bądź częściowego ruchu cyklicznego, a także integracji w zakresie rozkładów jazdy i taryf z innymi rodzajami publicznego transportu zbiorowego.
Characteristic of transport system in Pomorskie Voivodship is presented together with description of role and functions of railway transport on the background of other types of transport. Basic arrangement of railway lines necessary for operation of regional passenger services in the voivodship is defined. Potential possibility of infrastructure renovation in selected section of railway network is indicated. On the basis of passenger flow investigations the directions of railway trans.port development in the voivodship is determined with particular attention to the area of Gdansk-Sopot-Gdynia agglomeration. Levels of services for different railway lines of Pomorskie Voivodship are proposed including number of trains and traction vehicles, assumptions for partially or totally cyclic traffic and integration of timetables and tariffs between railway and other transport means.

Opis:: Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie i omówienie wybranych konsekwencji związanych z uchwaleniem i podpisaniem przez Prezydenta w listopadzie 2016 r. nowelizacji ustawy o transporcie kolejowym. Zaprezentowane w nim zostały argumenty przemawiające za wykorzystaniem przez uprawiony do tego organ, którym stał się minister właściwy ds. transportu możliwości wydania rozporządzenia standardów oznakowania stacji pasażerskich. Skomentowane zostały nowo wprowadzone podstawy prawne. W artykule omówiono efekty obowiązującego dotychczas stanu prawnego dotyczącego przedmiotowej kwestii. Przywołano również efekty badań wykonanych przez organizacje pozarządowe, które sprawdzały spójność i czytelność stosowanego w transporcie kolejowym oznakowania informacyjnego. Odniesiono się do potencjalnej możliwości standaryzacji oznakowania infrastruktury i środków transportu wykorzystywanych w komunikacji miejskiej. Z artykułu wypływa wniosek o potrzebie zapewnienia spójności w stosowanym oznakowania stacji pasażerskich, co zwiększy dostępność transportu kolejowego.
The purpose of this article is to present and discuss selected consequences connected with the adoption and signing in November 2016 by the President the amendment of the Act on railway transport. The arguments presented in the article support the use of the minister responsible for transport it’s competence of issuing the regulation on the marking standards of passenger stations. The latest change in legal basis concerned this matter was also commented. The article discusses the effects of the current legal status of the described matter. The results of research conducted by non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) were also mentioned. The NGO’s checked the cohesion and legibility of the information marking that is used in the railway transport. It was made a reference towards the possibility of marking standardization of infrastructure and means of transport that are used in public transport (local transport). The article outlines the need to ensure coherence in the field of marking the passenger stations, which will increase the availability of rail transport.
