FFCA - Opis:
- Whistleblowing is a way of revealing the truth. Throughout centuries, starting in the Middle Aged England, it has been shaped into a legal tool of preventing wrongdoing and money embezzlement in Anglo Saxon countries. The United States of America is the most advanced in using qui tam cases. The name is taken after Latin phrase, which translates: „On behalf of the king...”. Since blowing the whistle is a complex problem of ethics, managing information, religion, culture, and legal law, those who want to reveal information need technical help of specialists. There are still some unanswered questions concerning whistleblowers: for some people they are heroes, mostly in America, but for some they are a different kind of informers, mostly in Europe, that carries the heritage of totalitarian systems. Transforming whistleblowing into Polish reality might be a bit difficult for two reasons: 1. it may be misunderstood with simple informing and might have negative connotation, 2. there is a linguistic problem of translation of the term into simple, understandable Polish expression. Additionally, Polish legal system does not recognize those kinds of activities as useful, and for majority of society it is a novelty in business world.
