Opis:: In the paper the sensorless DTC-SVM for induction motor drive system for tram application is described. To the rotor speed, electromagnetic torque and stator flux vector reconstruction the MRAS type estimator was applied. This estimator is less sensitive to the motor parameter variation than other observers and is stable in the whole speed reference changes. Experimental result was performed for 50kW induction motor in the whole speed and torque regions.

Opis:: The article presents the problem of sensor less frequency control of synchronous permanent magnets motor without damping cage by the principle of v/f , to drive the fan. In order to reduce power consumption of the drive system in the laboratory the optimal voltage to the motor frequency characteristics were determined. The study was conducted on a laboratory set-up consisting of two coupled PMSM machines where one machine was supplied by a transistor inverter, and the other was a passive load. A new criterion based on minimizing of the stator current vector module was proposed and optimization algorithm in steady states was tested. The lab results confirm the validity of the solution to drive the fan.

Opis:: In the paper the concept of conversion a vehicle for bimodal hybrid car was described. A special synchronous permanent magnets motor attended to the hybrid vehicle was designed. New motor will be mounted directly on the Cardan shaft. The special motor which will operate in two modes, as the drive and as a generator charging the on board battery was designed and made. The used drive has a high torque and ability to operate in a very wide speed range.

Opis:: This paper presents a comparison of dynamic properties of the classical cascade structure with the PI controller and the FDC controller in the problem of positioning two-mass drive. In the introduction provides an overview of methods for positioning two-mass drives. The next chapters, presents a mathematical model of considered drive and described control structures. The simulation study verified influence of the controllers tuning on drive dynamics. Simulation studies were supported by experimental results.

Opis:: The paper presents issues related to the estimation of state variables in drive with elastic coupling in case of a variable moment of inertia of the driven machine. The introduction briefly characterized problem of torsional vibrations in electric drive. In the next chapters presents model of the drive with elastic coupling and the Kalman filter. Then dealt with various cases of operation of the estimator to accurately set the parameters of the model, on the basis of proposed algorithm for tuning the filter. Theoretical considerations was supported by simulation studies.

Opis:: In this paper, the construction of permanent magnet machine with external rotor was presented. The liquid coolant cooling of the machine was discussed. Distribution of the temperature in cross section of the machine obtained from the solution of thermal network in steady state, was presented. The influence of parameters the cooling medium on temperature distribution in different parts of the machine was studied. The dependence of the maximum temperature of the stator windings on the degree of overloading the machine and the coolant flow rate was calculated. Maximum continuous overload the machine, at which the winding temperature does not exceed the accepted maximum value was specified.

Opis:: This paper presents a machine topology, by which the field weakening is enabled with a simple stator fixed DC-coil. This machine can be used in modern drives for electro-mobiles. To control the field in the range from zero up to maximal values, which offers wide speed variations, this coil has to be fed by a simple DC-chopper. The dynamic phenomena occurring in the machine for various values of its parameters (the possibility of bifurcation and chaotic states) has been analyzed.

Opis:: In this paper analysis of possibilities of neural network application for estimation of speed of permanent magnet synchronous motor is presented. In order to realize of this task Multi Layer Perceptron Neural Network are applied. Several design steps with particular emphasis on the selection of structure of neural network and organization of the input vector are described. Chosen results for prepared neural estimator are presented. High precision of speed estimation is obtained. Additionally changes of stator resistance are introduced during tests, even in such case reproduction of this state variable is very precise, tested model is robust. Calculations related to prepared model are realized in Matlab.

Opis:: The paper presents issues related to the impact analysis and selection of the length of control and output horizon the prediction to dynamic properties of the drive with elastic coupling. In the frame study the impact of the length of control and output horizon were simulation examined in drive with different mechanical parameters. Were presented the results related to the effect of the sampling step for selecting the length of the prediction window outputs. Sequentially presented experimental verification of the results. Simulation results were verified by experimental research.

Opis:: In the paper the adaptive model predictive control structure is proposed. The adaptation mechanism, on the basis on the estimated by nonlinear Kalman filter value of the mechanical time constant of the load machine retune the control structure parameters (internal model in MPC algorithm). In order to ensure the optimal responses of the plant the value of the matrix Q is also adopted. In the paper the results of the simulation test showing the control structure properties are presented.

The control methodology enables the drive’s safety and physical limitations to be directly incorporated into control synthesis. Opis:: In the paper the issues related to the design of extended linear Kalman filter for the state variable estimation are presented. The original two-mass system state vector is extended by the load torque and its the first as well as the second derivatives. In the introduction the modern estimation method are described briefly. Next the considered model of the drive is presented. Then the applied procedure based on the global optimization technique is presented. The robustness of the designed Kalman filter to the variation of the value of the matrix Q is examined. The simulation study are confirmed by the experimental tests.

Opis:: In this paper MRASCC (Model Reference Adaptive System) model applied for estimation of rotor flux and angular speed of induction machine is presented. The main part of analysed system consist of current model and rotor circuit simulator. Adaptation of speed value is realised based on obtained signals using ADALINE (Adaptive Linear Neuron). In article mathematical description and experimental verification of theoretical considerations is presented. Estimator is tested in field oriented control structure. Moreover, researches of analysed model, in case of inaccurate information about electrical and mechanical parameters of the drive, are presented.
