- Opis:
- Zelów commune is situated in the region of Łask height. The landscape is mainly flat varying with many river’s valleys. Since in the beginning of 19th century many German and Czech settlers arrived to the commune you can find in Zelów churches of various religions like: Baptist church, Czech’s Brothers church, Evangelical-Augsburg church, Evangelical-Reformed church. Worth-seeing are also two cemeteries: Evangelical-Reformed and Roman-Catholic. Among secular structures the most interesting are: Czech’s settlers farm from the middle of 19th century in Piotrkowska street, commemorative stone in the area of former work camp during II World War and Tadeusz Kooeciuszko commemorating plate on the Dąbrowski square. Unfortunately, there aren’t any typical touristic trails and well developed touristic infrastructure in the analyzed town.
