Opis:
To make clear the feasibility and influence factors of diesel fuel autothermal reforming to hydrogen, PdCeCr-FeCu/Al2O3 catalyst was prepared by equivalent-volume impregnation method. Experimental facility based on an adiabatic tubular reactor with preheating section was designed and set up, the behaviors of diesel reforming to hydrogen with straight-run diesel as a raw material according to the analysis of the components were studied. Diesel oil reforming over a catalyst for hydrogen production was analyzed using an adiabatic tubular reactor with a preheating section that was designed and built in-house. The operating conditions were optimized. Under the suitable operating conditions, viz., catalyst bed inlet temperature of 700°C, diesel liquid space velocity of 0.24 h–1, water-carbon ratio of 20, and oxygen-carbon ratio of 0.6, the hydrogen yield reached 28.3 (mol/mol).

Opis:
Polyurethane (PU) is a polymer widely used in the biomedical field with excellent mechanical properties and good biocompatibility. However, it usually exhibits poor antibacterial properties for practical applications. Efforts are needed to improve the antibacterial activities of PU films for broader application prospect and added application values. In the present work, two PU films, TDI-P(E-co-T) and TDI-N-100-P(E-co-T), were prepared. Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were composited into the TDI-N-100-P(E-co-T) film for better mechanical properties and antibacterial activities, and resultant PU/AgNPs composite film was systematically characterized and studied. The as-prepared PU/AgNPs composite film exhibits much better antibacterial properties than the traditional PU membrane, exhibiting broader application prospect.

Opis:
Multiphase extraction (MPE) was applied as a developed, convenient and efficient method in separation of ephedrine from Pinellia ternata. Firstly, in order to increase the adsorption efficiency, bionic liquid-modified polymer was created. Comparing the effects of all sorbents under variables conditions, the highest amount of 5.8 mg/g can be adsorbed on dual imidazole ionic liquid modified polymer (Im-Im-Poly) in methanol/water (70:30, v/v) solution at 25°C within 30.0 min. Then the Im-Im-Poly was applied in MPE, after 7 times repetition of extraction, around 1.0 mg/g of ephedrine from Pinellia ternata was detected. After washing by water, ethanol and methanol, and elution by methanol/acetic acid (99.0:1.0, v/v), ephedrine was successfully separated.

Opis:
The adsorption of pentafl uorobenzene on nine ionic liquid-based silicas was investigated using solid phase extraction. The effects of several variables such as the type of ionic liquid groups, adsorption time, temperatures and water ratio in the solution system were experimentally evaluated. The imidazole-chloride ionic liquid group based silica exhibited the highest adsorption efficiency under the optimized conditions of 5 min adsorption at 30°C in water/methanol (30:70, vol%) solution. In addition, the effects of pH, as well as type and concentrations of chloride salts were investigated. At pH values other than neutral and high salt concentration, the adsorption efficiency was reduced. Finally, the relative standard deviation of less than 5.8% over a 5-day period showed a high precision for the nine tested sorbents.

In this paper, the research progress of ammonium bisulfate (ABS) volatilization in coal-fired power plants the SCR denitrification process was reviewed. Combination with self-made experiments, SEM, flue gas analyzer and TG-DTG curves of ABS and ion chromatography. The volatilization and condensation characteristics of ABS were investigated carefully. Results show that as the temperature increased by 50 °C, the ABS/AS volatilization rate increased by an order of magnitude. The decomposition process of ABS should have a two-step reaction. The reaction in the initial volatilization stage is ABS dehydration turned into (NH4)2S2O7. The reaction in the rapid volatilization stage is (NH4)2S2O7 decomposed into NH3, N2, SO2 and H2O. There is an inter-section in the reac-tion temperature range (especially 300 °C) between the two-step reaction. This research provides an experimental basis for temperature control of ABS to avoid air pre-heater fouling.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) has important applications in fields of health care products, cosmetics and clinical medical. However, the unique physiological properties of HA make cost of its traditional separation and extraction process relatively high. Foam separation technique has simple, gentle and efficient advantages on the separation of substances with surface activity by using bubbles as the separation medium. In this paper, natural surfactant CocamideBetaine (CAPB) was used as a foaming agent to explore the technology of microscale HA in aqueous solution by foam separation. The optimum process conditions were determined based on the recovery rate and enrichment ratio of HA by single factor and orthogonal experiment: at room temperature, pH = 7, separating air velocity (v) = 350 mL/min, HA concentration (CHA) = 50 mg/L, adding liquid volume (V) = 200 mL, collecting time (tcol) = 10 min, CAPB concentration (CCAPB) = 0.035 g/L. Under these conditions, HA enrichment ratio (E) equals 6.821 and HA recovery rate (R) equals 66.425%.

PIV technology was used to investigate the influence of the particles’ relevant parameters on the instantaneous movement characteristics in the sandblast cylinder under the circumstance of different particle sizes, different section heights and different stacking conditions. As the diameter increased, particles had a greater velocity and energy when approaching the wall, which would cause a serious abrasion. The influence of test selection factors on the particles’ radial velocity of particles was greater than that on axial velocity. The radial velocity and axial velocity on the surface of the cylindrical section were all reduced to a lower level when the particles approach the tank wall. When r > 0.3 R, the particle velocity maintained at a higher level, but then decreased slowly when r > 0.7 R. Therefore, the abrasion of the conical section of the sandblast cylinder when r > 0.3 R should be paid more attention to.

The epoxidation process of soybean oil (SBO) and peracid produced by 50 wt% hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and formic acid (FA) was studied with sulfuric acid (H2SO4) as a catalyst. Three reaction parameters, including reaction temperature, FA-to-SBO ratio, and H2O2-to-SBO ratio, were investigated, along with the combined effect on oxirane value (OV). Based on response surface methodology (RSM), the Box-Behnken design (BBD) was used to optimize the process parameters. According to the results, the calculated OV (7.34%) and the experimental OV (7.31%) were significantly in agreement. The product was con firmed as epoxidized soybean oil (ESO) by IR and NMR characterization methods. These results demonstrated the reliability of RSM to optimize the SBO reaction to produce ESO with high oxygen content.

Gallium (Ga) is considered an important element in the semiconducting industry and as the lifespan of electronic products decrease annually Ga-containing effluent has been increasing. The present study investigated the use of biodegradable polymer powders, crab shell and chitosan, in the removal of Ga(III) ions from aqueous solution. Ga(III) biosorption was modeled to Lagergren-first, pseudo-second order and the Weber-Morris models. Equilibrium data was modeled to the Langmuir, Freundlich and Langmuir-Freundlich adsorption isotherms to determine the probable biosorption behavior of Ga(III) with the biosorbents. The biosorbents were investigated by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, X-ray Diffraction and Scanning Electron Microscopy/Energy Dispersive Spectra analysis.

Nanoscale zero-valent iron-doped carbonized zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (nZVI/CZIF-8) was prepared by carbonation of ferric nitrate and ZIF-8 at 800 °C and used as an adsorbent to remove methylene blue (MB) from water. The synthesized nZVI/CZIF-8 has a specific surface area of 806.9 m2/g, a pore volume of 0.86 cm3/g and an nZVI content of 1.35%, respectively. Both the nZVI/CZIF-8 and CZIF-8 have identical functional groups of O-H, C-H and C=C. With the increase of CZIF-8 size, MB removal rate increased. The doping of nZVI increased the MB removal percentage from 74.5% for ZIF-8 to 96.2% within 80 min for nZVI/CZIF-8. The MB removal percentage increased with the dosage of nZVI/CZIF-8. The MB adsorption with the adsorbents conforms to the Freundlich adsorption isothermal model and the removal rate fitted well to a pseudo-first-order model. The results demonstrate the feasibility of synthesizing high active and stable nZVI/CZIF-8 particles.
