Introduction/background: It is highly probable that the criteria for assessing the implementation of public projects as successful will be different, depending on the point of view of the representatives of individual groups of stakeholders. In the paper, we present, after a brief introduction to the problems of design and the specifics of public projects, the results of surveys conducted among representatives of local governments, representatives of local communities (city citizens) and representatives of people professionally involved in project management. Aim of the paper: The aim of the paper is to capture the criteria and conditions for the success of public projects common to various groups of stakeholders. Materials and methods: Surveys were used as the research method and the questionnaire contained two open-ended questions. The research took the form of a direct interview. The analysis was performed using cross tables and a weighted average. Results and conclusions: Research results indicate that criteria and conditions common to all groups of stakeholders exist and the most important are the fulfillment of basic project parameters (time, quality, costs) as a success criterion, and reliable examination/identification of the residents' needs (social consultations) as a condition for success.

Opis:
Introduction/background: This paper explores the relation between a concept of project key success factors, popular among project management practitioners, with the operational performance of the project delivered by its team. Aim of the paper: This paper presents research, which answers the question if teams working with the support of project key success factors achieve better performance. Materials and methods: Literature research was conducted, which covered both the subject of team performance and project success. This led to the definition of project team performance and analysis of its relationship with project success. The literature on key success factors was analysed in a historical overview from 1967 to 2020. The empirical research covered the correlation between project success factors and project team performance. Results and conclusions: The analysis of the results showed that each of the team performance components is associated with other group of success factors: project time with collaborative atmosphere (parent organisation-related factors), project quality with professional competence of project team members (team-related factors), project cost with clearly defined objectives (project-related factors).

Opis:
Introduction/background: Despite the existence of many standards, guidelines and methods for risk management in manufacturing companies, it is still an issue that is often overlooked in management practice. This is due to the natural reluctance of managers to deal with risks related to ongoing projects and processes, which additionally require additional organisational effort and the use of various inputs. This paper presents the problem of risk management in projects implemented in a selected automotive company. Aim of the paper: The main aim of the paper was to develop and implement a risk management model for the project management process, which includes stages such as: identification of risk factors in ongoing projects, risk analysis and evaluation, and development of risk response methods. Materials and methods: In the research part, heuristic and statistical methods (group, ocean of experts) were used to identify key project risks. In addition, a qualitative method such as a risk matrix was used to analyse and evaluate risks. An element of the risk management model of options in response to risk was also identified. Results and conclusions: This paper presents how to determine the key risk factors in projects and how to use them in a risk management model for projects in the selected company. The model can be used for risk management in projects in other companies.
