- Epic poem or epic party? Review of meanings and expressive stability of the adjective epic (epicki) This paper concerns the description and expressive evaluation of the word epicki (epic). In Polish, a new meaning appeared in the adjective epic, which was borrowed from English and gained popularity among users. The article contains an overview of the meanings of the adjective epicki based on book sources and web space, and illustrates its functioning in Polish. In addition, expressive characterization of the latest meanings of word and its stability has been characterized. The work also draws attention to other literary terms that have penetrated into colloquial Polish.
